we theorize from the drawings that the light orbs were first collected by lightseekers, those orbs were taken to vault scholars who tweaked those lights into what we know as 
, the vault scholars then flew the big boat along with 2 smaller boats (either going to another kingdom or-). They crashed because of a storm and we now know them as enchantment people
in the ark doodle if you notice the people flying them have vault scholar hats on them

I don't know if this has been brought up before. But in the trailer, there are two lights:Cyan and orange. We have light quests that include colored lights. They also seem to be in their respective areas, isle and forest. So there is a possibility that we're going to get an origin story of where these light orbs come from and what they represent. It's just speculation but it sounds cool
