Okay so here is the theory so far, we believe the king is the eden elder & elders have diamonds on them so diamonds shields represent the kings side(maybe elders were on his side?) & the prince decided to stand up against his propaganda & fought back against him (he's represented by sun shield)

I still see Oreo as a chance ffor mechanics exploration. Both Oreo and a spirit are "summoned" via providing power to a central stone via emote. One pray, another butterfly.
Oreo is hyperactive, so of course he would need more power. The spirit, on the other hand, is better able to manage their own power, so focousing our own energy on the stone is sufficient

because with the current amount of WL, 7 is the max wedges. There are also many meanings to 7, but I’ll let you investigate those yourself :p

I was doing my dailies and I just noticed the crying spirit is called tearful light miner, which caught my attention.
If they're mining light, something would have had to replaced it. Darkness. It would explain why you would need to burn some of the plants to get to the spirit in question.

More then a millenia ago, the skies were glittering with stars. Gigantic stars, as a fact. They all surrounded the MegaBird. MegaBird was a creator of stars, but lets be real. She created all life. With the stars united, their light was infinite, but darkness(unknown what kind)came and the stars fell. The sky weakened, but tinier stars came to take the elder’s place. Tinier stars littered the cosmos, trying to light up the sky. The elders (the bigger stars) grew a huge civilization built on power diamonds.(power diamonds: Light trapped in stone) A civil war began, thousands of years later, between social classes. The nobles and the servants, to be real. A large power diamond in eden was unfortunately crafted with darkstone.(solid darkness) The darkstone corrupted the light slowly. Then, it exploded. The blast was so extreme, destroying all life(mantas and other creatures survived, the civilization was not so lucky.)
The civilization, we’ll call them spirits now, were trapped. The spirits were dead, but they were trapped in their stone bodies. They cant move, they cant see, they cant ascend. Megabird sent a few stars to rebuild the civilization, but sadly, near the corrupt power diamonds. the stars were ripped from their physical forms. Their souls were scattered across the realms. Megabird(Megan) decided that the civilization could not be saved. Out of pieces of a shattered star, she created us, the children. The little dot on top is a piece of a star. Megan sent us to free and bring back souls. We are technically soul reapers- So, hundreds of children set out to bring back the stars to the sky. The children even got some of the machinery moving. They encounter many things along the way, losing some souls, but eventually make it. The elders light up the sky once more, and the spirits have ascended. Megan asks the child what would make the child happy. The child asks to be reborn.

we recollect our memories, and by the time we reach eden we completely remember who we were and what we did, and then we die and repeat the cycle, recollecting the memories over and over

i agree with that theory - though we as players remember everything, i'd like to think that our skids don't remember.
there is the counter-argument of, "what about the spirits?? why don't we relive them if they are part of our memories as well?" - i think these memories of the spirits come as wing buffs once you really save them and send them back up to orbit. skids may not remember saving the spirits after every reincarnation but they have 'parting gifts' or just indications that they did through wing buffs though they may not be aware of it

i think the children of light die and repeat the cycle of rebirth because they have not found their true self, and give themself meaning. i believe all the statues encase an imprint, but trapped within darkness, hence we remember them when we give up our own winged light to clear away the darkness surrounding the memories. the counterargument here would be "but by definition winged light are imprints of children of light", well i do not think they are essentially the same construct, as we see the faint glow and outline of the imprint after collecting them. i think winged light is a form of energy which memories hold, when we remember part of ourselves, our meaning, our existence, our past, we are presented with an awakening, but which of these memories is our true self. we have to sacrifice our memories to search for it. but when we finally find our true self waiting in the eden diamond, we forgot who we were, what our mission was. our reconciliation. like moths attracted to light, we venture towards the glowing light by instinct. the glowing child is surprised by our appearance, but neither him or us recognize each other.

see this is the problem with the storyline, 99% half of us in lore chat think that the storyline ends at the rebirth or orbit, meanwhile 1%, basically me the other half thinks the storyline is continuous and cyclic
