But having a Star doesn’t automatically give you infinite power. Only a way to harness the light, like a Dyson Sphere, gives that power
However, the stars collapsed into white dwarfs and eventually black dwarfs

Honestly, I don't really think that's the case. It said "mistake" not "sin", making me think the stars themselves caused the fall accidently. Perhaps mishandling the issue?
The translater noted those words in the JP intro was worded "They commited a sin", but the word isn't "sin", more like a mistake or wrong choice, making me believe its not a 'Lucifer' situation

My theory is that some event caused the stars to fall and the Prince/King lost all their light and their body and soul was seperated. The soul became the "King" we see in the Sky Kingdom and was given a new body since the original was far away. (idk why they made it so... Big tho)
The King "died" and the soul was left in limbo. This is the Child of Light we meet when we die in Eden.
The Megabird brought the other half, the original body of the Prince, to life to, send the stars home and somehow meet its other half again.
The Winged Lights are the light of the King which manifests as an imprint of the King's soul and memories.
However, I updated a bit of this after reading the Canon Lore doc
I can't give the link of the earlier thing I mentioned about this tho
That perhaps the Prince doesn't merge with us cause we'll end up losing our individuality
