Well what i think is this is bcoz of height difference. If you look at diamond floating in air where light beams target the diamond, the light on diamond slowly goes down when elevator rises so the more height it has to go the more lanterns it would need. That's what I think

hello this most likely already has been talked about but, in eden is that the sun being blocked or is it a moon?
And some of the statues that you can’t save before you get to the point of no return have blue crystals growing off them before they turn to dust? I’m not sure if I’ve ever noticed that before or if it’s new because I always just saw them like the ones in eye of Eden
