since it's called forgotten ark,
it used to run on memories and knowledge, bringing the knowledge to vault.
however, dark creatures attacked it, so it crashed and fell apart. eventually it was abandoned and became forgotten, decendants are able to relive and find the truth behind what happened

I think they wanted to bring the color light either eden or wasteland, in my Opinion, Both ways to revitalize the place. then the krill attack happened and like when winged light is scattered in an area, the color light was scattered across the realms...

Using thermal imaging
Red is the hottest.. green is normal and blue is cold.
But valley is yellow meaning that it is hot according to my theory..
Valley is always the place that just want to conflict to my theory.

rather, the colours are meant to invoke a feeling

To take valley for example, with reds and yellows and pinks, it’s active. even if everything is dead, you still feel alive while racing down the slopes

this is probably horribly inaccurate, but me and a friend wrote most of this before i found this chat, sooooooo,

Everything was fine, until the high elder of Sky, the elder of Eden, the King, turned away from the light. He cast away his friends, and with fell, . The seven, or eight, if you count the twin elders of the valley of triumph separately, created their realms, the seven realms of sky. They created homes and livelihoods amidst the clouds. And except for the King all was well. He though, prompting the fall of stars, had lost some of his light, of his goodness. He was grew afraid, and pulled light from his realm, to revitalize himself, yet taking made him corrupt, made him darker. However, elders are of the light, so as he grew darker, he started dying, he started fading. And like him his realm decayed, the beautiful and majestic Dragons grew dark, the thermic winds became littered with rocks. When he noticed, he grew afraid. He asked the other Elders for Counsel and they made attempts to save him. None worked and he faded away. Darkness took his realm. Light began leaking out of the six other realms toward Eden, then into the void, the forever, out to space. For this the other elders felt personally responsible.

Desperate attempts to preserve the lights in the lands were made. Flame and Stone and a great deal of light and wit were needed.

The elder of the Forest, Teth, the engineer behind the ingenious power diamond technology, created a large diamond, the largest she had ever made. They had it transported it to Eden, to act as a vessel for the light spilling to Eden and out. For a while it worked out just fine. However, nothing can hold so much energy forever, and with no where to put the energy, no way to use it, the Diamond fractured and burst. The violent energy created a storm in Eden. The Diamond still fulfills the first part of its purpose, suck up the light that wants to leak out. Yet broken, it cannot hold the light, so the violent energy leaks out and renews the storm.

The spirits of enchantment created colored light, with powers beyond anything yet seen, but as they sailed to Eden, their ship was attacked by a Dark dragon and crashed, and the light was strewn over the realms. The spirits of enchantment were the only ones, with the knowledge of how to make and use the special light, so this hope was lost.

The elder of the Golden lands, Tsadi, fought a violent war with crabs and Dragons against the Darkness. Yet taking lives, turned them Dark and corrupt, and with them the lands. Now they were called Golden Wastelands, despite having turned an icky shade of green.

It was Lamed, the elder of knowledge, of the vault, who came up with a valid solution. She had the other elders form bodies of stone and souls of light and hearts that are flame; the light would give the body agency and hold it together. The stone body would be a vessel for the Light to roam in. The flame they could use, to bring light to the world.

But by allowing these new creatures to live, they would seal their personal failure in History that it could not be them, saving the realms. Together, they decided, that it would be best outcome they could hope for, and that their pride, should not be the end of the kingdom. They put the souls inside of the bodies and lit the flame. The children woke, and went on their journey, yet, in Eden the storm blew out their hearts, ripped their solus from their bodies and immobilized them.

This time the twins of the Valley of triumph, Sameh and Amehk (Samehk, but since there are two, I made two names), came up with an idea, They created a cape to fly with that could hold the souls of other children of light. That way, the live children of light, could bring the souls back to the immobilized ones, and let them be reborn.

Whenever a child of light comes by them, the elders are reminded of their personal failure. So They are hesitant to give the children the information they need. Never did the children actually find a way to fix Eden, or at least the Storm, but through the cycle of rebirth, they try over and over and over again.

Well one exceptional theorist once told me that wind walls and barriers can be interpreted as the limits of a child's imagination if one were to project the world of sky as an imaginary playground of a child. But going this way means no way to explain multiplayer, which is why I said to an extent

ok, so, I got a plan, I'm going to use my height (average height of a 6 year old: 115 cm), to determine how high the thing is, that i'll jump off, then I will get rid off the cape (i found a glitsh, die in wasteland and warp to friend), get my brother to give me his phone, so i can pull myself there, screenrecord how I fall of, and later check how long I fell, then I will put this into a formuls and get the gravity for different places.

a problem with trying to do the tests like that (calculating fall time) is that you likely aren't accounting for air resistance: the sky kids seemingly reach their effective terminal velocity much faster than an average falling object in the real world, which would make a fair amount of sense considering that flapping their capes generates enough force for them to actually rise in the air

so then creatures would simply alter their phenotypic gene expressions through epigenetic Signaling in their enviornment, to become dark or bright, zet thez are the same species

Well, I would say that the light and dark are always there but maintain a balance. I remember seeing dark fungi in Isle of Dawn the hidden map at left side of dawn temple . Place like golden wasteland appears when the balance of environment broke.

To me golden wasteland seems like industrialisation gone wrong. The place where we get red light seems to be some farm of sorts (the raised land things, idk what its called). Kinda explain the water and rain leeching away light if you take that to be polluted by industrial wastes (and acid rain from pollution?). If we say the hidden forest is linked to GW then it explains the rain there being corrosive as well because the acid rain formed in GW can be carried to the forest but since it isnt the source we dont see much of the impact and hence less crabs and no krills.

You can measure item/object small enough relative to the sky child using camera perspective, but for large sizes, you can not assume a one pixel to one unit in game because perspective distortions

Dark plants are kinda hard and solid, so we stand on them. Liquid darkness from sludge would clearly not be in a shell exactly, but the sand would make a loose cover? Red rocks would be openly exposed, so being close would be bad

After booting up the game I realized something, and was curious if this was commonly known--that the gates to the kingdoms in Home could be reflective of Jem's sky storyline progression (beginning at something like sea-level for Dawn, then moving up to a mountainous height for Valley, and then back down as we reach wasteland etc.)?

There's also a minor theory that the kid in the crown is not because the king is a mech suit, but because the dark crystals of the Prince's mask would not stop growing, trapping the prince inside and consuming his energy, which is technichally infinite

In the concepts you had to save the king and awaken the prince, presumably by bringing light.

If the prince was trapped inside a large crystal head that constantly drained his light while preventing him from doing anything without it, the prince would be in great pain at all times. Bringing the light would num or dull the pain significantly so the prince could think clearly enough to break free of the head.

So out of piqued interest I am playing through the game with a much higher eye to detail now. I just noticed that during the Isle of Dawn temple cutscene, where the elder takes the light from the candle you light, the city in the background resembles the King (with the destroyed remains that float above in a halo of light looking like they're in the shape of a child). Very cool!

actually, most of the creatures are actually also water related animals. Mantas = fish, Whale = marine mammal, crab = lives near water in water or on beaches, Krill = lives in water, and then there are the true air animals, but curiously, they are shown to us by elders, on Isle, Daleth, shows us that he uses the birds to guide us, and we see Ayin create butterflies in prairie...

Exoskeletons kinda make sense ig. Cause the shells are made from the proteins which have high nitrogen content so if we have some radioactive or something then might explain the corruption??

i've kinda seen what remains of the crab pit in the krill area of eden, but i doubt i'm recognising it nearly as strongly as someone who actually climbed through it themselves back in the day seeing how i've only got old videos to go off of
