The two things candles/fire encompass two elements, heat and light, both of which could be present if eden is exothermic, yet we dont regenerate our light wedges anywhere except under the presence of fire

Theory 1: they are unstable when we first find them. They're there, but having difficulty remembering themselves. We live their memories and they piece themselves together, but they need a physical representation. We offer light amd they become stable

Except, we have the inner light (maybe connection to megabird and/or child of light) that shatters the husk from the inside on our own

could also explain why the statues in Eden (the fallen) couldn't save themselves. They didn't have light

There are def more stars in pleiades (if u have some magical zooming telescope) but the main shiny ones are few ( from 6-7-8, depends how good ur eyesight is)

What if when it says “with starts united our light was infinite” could mean there was a world of connected people and light creatures and everything shiny and then the ancestors are the indifferent made of black stone so from the start they weren’t able to fly but then something happened and the connected fell from the sky and some of the ancestors learned how to merge with the connected so they have capes and people realizing that its possible to merge the connected and indifferent started making diamond factories trying to recreate what the merged connected and indifferent are

my lore:

At the start the Elders are like stars, connected with the Prince (based on the first pic before “stars falling” animation). That was when “light was infinite”. Then the Prince discovered darkness can be harnessed to create technology, so he led the advancement and was crowned king. In the process, the stars fell. The Elders, ignoring Megabird, created their own realms in the clouds and played a role in the technological progress (eg. the diamond operation). As we know if civilization continues to consume in an unsustainable way, it would collapse, so that was like what happened with the king becoming corrupt in the process, then all goes down.
A long time passes after the collapse. The prince reincarnates into Skykids (our avatar) or something. The rest is history.
