My Theory is:
The two heroes were Vault and Wasteland, Vault was a sorcerer accompanying Wasteland. They were fighting against a krill or stopping something much more lethal than a krill.. Vault probably saved Wasteland and lost an eye during it. So Vault instead decided to work for the Vault of Knowledge.

So one of my friend, name’s Hazel. He has a theory that everyone in the Sky
world is dead besides us.
Sky citizens ruined the habitat of krills and crabs, before that, we live together in harmony. Take the white poofy boy in the sunny forest as an example.
So, a war broke out between us and other living creatures. The battle field is located in Wasteland. After the war, the only thing that remains is the library, which is vault. It’s a shelter place.
Then Eden is our last destination, we save other light kids. And the cycle repeats.
Spirits and elders were important members of society before they die.

these tibetan prayer wheels have mantras/prayers on them, so spinning the wheel would be like saying the prayer verbally
