Yes but I’m pretty sure u tried to ride them before
They have a wind aura around them
If this is there, wouldn’t it explain why u get knocked over when they hit u
oh yeah that
even if they don't have a physical body i guess it's the force/wind that really knocks you back
From the back, u can actually get passed the wind aura, and fly straight through them
A wind aura huh you krills makin those huge gusts of winds in eden and throwing rocks at skykids
Krills are air benders O.o
Oh yes
🌬️
But anyways
They also maneuver through walls and physical objects as well
If they had a touchable body, they wouldn’t be able to fly through walls or go straight into the ground and pop backup without a problem
To be fair mantas do the same thing
Yes I was about to get to that too
Light and dark creatures don’t have physical bodies, u can go through all of them and when u ride a manta, you have to float above them
krill are pure darkness and manta are pure light, so no physical aspect?
So here’s my theory
The creatures are simply forms of light or dark that have a shape and are infused with life
And the neutral creatures are the ones we can touch
The whale, and the creatures at the graveyard
But
Crabs
I almost think that could be said for most of the creatures in sky
Being made out of light...
I have a theory they were also neutral creatures , their natural form was the ones we see at the sanctuary islands
But when they have darknes, they become hostile
Yo I'm gonna head out. Have a good night
Ight

Everything is diamond based
Seems like I missed pines again

Ktjn what happened

Why you burning
So what's the topic now that the new season is here

so the only "lore" we got from sanctuary is that bells summon creatures of light into being
and that they can emerge not only from clouds, but from water as well
much like the jellyfish in forest
there's also new manta (?) species exclusive to the islands
like the first bell quest, I don't think we've seen those before
Manta fishes
@hushed steeple hol up thought they were birds
You can see they're swimming and coming out from water in cutscene
Maybe they're just manta offspring. Maybe they start off their lifecycle from water and only move to the skys later!
Yes sheorun there's one theory also says all creatures comes from water... Similar like in real life
As far from what I've seen of them so far for me it seems more plausible right now at least 😊
It's also possible that those fishes are different specie then flying mantas as well
I was under the impression they were baby mantas, until they started making bird noises
So I dunno what to think anymore
Yeah sure! It sure would be nice though if the sanctuary story was about the manta lifecycle 😍
Maybe it's
The last bell quest is going to hit beta eventually. We might get to see the biggest momma manta

Tho we can't spoil here about that
True true, but I only speculate
When that time comes it won't leave the beta channel obvs
ooh it very well could be the manta life cycle
the final bell quest is in beta tomorow, I'll have to formulate my theories after that
It definitely would fit the soothing atmosphere of sanctuary!
or maybe it'll just be a krill, who knows
Then they will fight with giant manta
It will be the biggest update of sky hahahaha
Bossfight season with a giant krill that players too to work together to take down when? Haha.
Oh I have a bit of a lore question for yalls! We usually see those rock crab things in dark areas right? What are they doing in one of the most peaceful places in Sky right now?
Are they just crabs there cause crabs on a beach? I'm talking about the new sanctuary islands, what are they doing there?
What if New Beginning Season in which the Corruption now extend to all realms not just on wasteland, it is the time where biggest changes now occur on the Land of Sky, and it is now on the sky kids' hands to return the balance.
Are they just crabs there cause crabs on a beach? I'm talking about the new sanctuary islands, what are they doing there?
Hmm, remember the little cavern in the forest? It is damp and have some water flooding in right? Perhaps crabs habitat are always around water I suppose? So if there is water, there's a chance of crabs lives there (Valley might not be counted because of the temperature)
Oooooh valley is the only realm that doesn't have crabs right?
i don't remember seeing any in isle of dawn or eden
@orchid crypt there are crabs in eden as well^^
Btw it seems crabs were not hostile from beginning... They become hostile to us after darkness caught them...
there are? i can't remember them at all, where are they there?
oh right, the sludge, i keep forgetting about that
but yeah, it seems like crabs found in well-lit areas are actually pretty chill towards the sky kids -- the ones you find outside on sanctuary just go about their own business
I've question about this symbol
is that a symbol, or just missing tiles? though seems pretty neat for broken flooring
hmm, that is the same pattern when you rotate it, yeah
And it seems in prairie as well
nothing's really coming to mind for me personally, it seems so random
Hmm maybe I'm overthinking
it looks too blocky/indistinct for me to recognise it as anything, though seeing the same kind of outline in multiple different places is definitely kinda distracting
Or maybe king's face?
That button platform is more like the head of king's statue
Who knows
Why did eden get destroyed that bad
I think its related to King's face shape
Diamond is the precious thing so for them the Kings is the precious
Thats an interesting bit about the crabs not being hostile, never knew that could happen. Whenever I saw crabs, they were always quite mean haha
i noticed in the old concept art, the prince is as tiny as our skykids. thats so cute
the entire king structure looks like a throne?
forest mama was once sassy xD
And when prince became king
its like his tiny body is in the crystal haha
at first i thought it was his head too, but the black silhouette in the star is like his smol prince form
Hmm interesting
What if the prince is the first child but has a flaw that makes him unique among the others
The flaw that the elders knew all along and one day it will cause devastation to the Land of Sky
Sauron
Any theories about the new season?
I'm liking the new name for the king
I think I'll be here a little more considering the lore/story event!
Where was this king and stuff
They said that Sanctuary is the breeding place of manta or it shows evolution of manta
Well there are baby mantas
i just realized the giant pillars near the battlefield gate are actually statues of the king 👉👈
ah so you found the king propaganda
Once you enter you can't go back
The ones in Eden that you can use to take shelter and recharge under in the unending storm are him as well
all this time i thought they were those return shrine replicas,,
Not the ones you light up in the pulsing storm
The ones in Eden that you can use to take shelter and recharge under in the unending storm are him as well
@short owl which one? Isn't that home statue? Maybe i didnt paying attention
If you pay attention when you hit the unending storm, you may notice there are pillars
These pillars make areas where the unending storm kinda stops being.
If you have a friend, you can use this to recharge
Those are more like of vault elder statue
The statue holding a diamond in it's hand
Oh yeah, what/who is that statues btw, these atatues only found in Eden and Ascent
I will take a closer look when edening next time then
Kinda creepy looking
Here's the pic of one in ascent
I'm sure this one and those in eye of eden are Same
That's one creepy mask/face
it doesn't have the three diamonds that point to the king though
so yeah like mio said it's probably just some person from vault
Its doesnt has any symbol or pattern either...just plain grey statue
A statue of someone important or smth
maybe, i guess they would be important enough to have multiple same gigantic statues
(i forgot lol is there multiple of that statue)
but still, it looks a little too plain other than the diamond and that gigantic hat
Maybe its a high ranking teacher or scholar
Eye of eden statue
oooo yeah, the part of the hat just got snapped off
Excuse my bad English all

it's fine
If I remember correctly, old concept doesnt has any design similar to these statues
I cant remember seeing these statues design/shape anywhere
I'm curious what some of these statues have on their back
Those Ascent one also have this
the one in ascent looks like part of the sun(?) shields
I think these statues thing never been mentioned in any theories? Right?
i think it's been discussed before but there's no actual theories about them

Im listening
This topic so rarely being discussed i think, this's my first time talking about it
Tho ive been curious about these statues for some times now
Immortal glitch
Only 2 Time I've did it
the circle things on the statues backs are apparently wings
Hmm very interesting
probably not sent in order because it was tedious to get all that on mobile
Next time go to Ascent I'll try to look closely at the back thing again
It works well res... Thanks for sharing

What if all the wings we found along the world belonged to these stone kids?
That could suggest that either sending children of light home used to be a job for specific ranked individuals... Or not sending them home was normal for specific high ranked individuals
What if all the wings we found along the world belonged to these stone kids?
@lilac stone maybe, but its hard to connect this to other theories
yeah, i think the statue is a whole separate theory on its own lol
That could suggest that either sending children of light home used to be a job for specific ranked individuals... Or not sending them home was normal for specific high ranked individuals
@short owl but if we assumed this statues or person/figure that inspired this statues exist before Eden's downfall, then there is children of light even before that?
What if the statue was the stone king himself and we watched him perish before our own eyes?
no, the king is a completely different entity
So??
My theory of the Eden Crystal being intended to create a light elevator would fit relatively well. You would have two groups: the stone kids, who were intended to join the light stream on their own, and the collected kids, who were expected to catch a ride with ambasadorial figures who would be making the trip to Orbit
@short owl but if we assumed this statues or person/figure that inspired this statues exist before Eden's downfall, then there is children of light even before that?
@magic stream yeah, seen the firework ts?
Also the hands on hip stance spirit's apprentice
At the end when we break free, we see a couple of kids also joining us?
Ye those are fallen kids
But those kids look more like spirits than the falllen kids we are used to seeing. Even after Eden, the kids look much different from spirits
Also the hands on hip stance spirit's apprentice
@lilac stone i think the little spirit was a same spirit person, but a child...not Children of Light like us
But those kids look more like spirits than the falllen kids we are used to seeing. Even after Eden, the kids look much different from spirits
@short owl those we save during Eden? I think those are the smae kids like our Skykid
Also notibly not spirit children, if I may point out
Maybe as previous discussion about these statues, those are some kinda scholar or high ranked figures that only found in Eden (before it's downfall). Some kinda special job only few chosen by the King?
perhaps
Builder of powered diamond?
the wings on their backs are similar to the symbol affiliated to the child of light (in intro) + flame/gods/elders(???) (murals)
you all are so observant
the wings on their backs are similar to the symbol affiliated to the child of light (in intro) + flame/gods/elders(???) (murals)
@gray bridge I need to have better refference about its shape to look at...I'll try to get the full view of those backpack thing when I do Eden again
The one in Eden fall down before we get to close
yeahh
it seems that it's split into two(?) or multiple parts from ginsy's vid, but it looks like the wings make up a spherical shape
i can check the murals in isle
you all are so observant
@hushed steeple This channel full of Private Detectives 😂
if there was a phd/any degree for sky lore i think we'd take it
the wings on their backs are similar to the symbol affiliated to the child of light (in intro) + flame/gods/elders(???) (murals)
@gray bridge the things on their back also make me think of the wings on the sky kid mural in the opening
Hm I remember that .. similar
more spams incoming
screenshots from intro
perhaps the vault scholars were those who harnessed the light or something with those circle thingies on their backs
Try look the pictures from bottom to top
ahh i forgot about this one oops
i was gonna say the elders perhaps brought light down with them to the kingdom of sky where there was only darkness, but it's stated that light was infinite as well so ehhh
I have been thinking about this fo a long time. So do all the elders in sky kingdom have official names or do they have like international names? I think I once heard wasteland elder was named Tsadi??? Im not sure
#lore-discussion-spoilers message
Elder names
Not cannon tho
Thank you anywayy!!
❤️
Now that i carefully read the intro subtitle...i realize that when Narrator talked about Darkness...the Elder stars didn't fell yet
Some kinda Darkness made the Elders fell
I do wonder if our old home is orbit
"....Bring our lost star home"
Lost star=elders then home is probably orbit
We bring them together when we receive the ultimate gifts from them
I notice the spirits in the murals were praying, and then celebrate when the stars fell
Maybe they were worshiping the elders long before they fell
Those are land people?
that why i thought maybe the ancestors were in the darkness at first
Yes
i think the elders introduced the concept of light to the ancestors
I think the land people were a more neutral entity before
also, could the darkness mentioned in intro have been caused by the elders losing their connection to each other? was this on accident or on purpose? was this darkness an external force? find out next time on dragon ball z sky: children of the light
🐉 🏀 Z
Darkness and light both have always existed in the world of sky..
Maybe they were needed below because the darkness came
So they fell to help the spirits
Hm makes sense
But messed up with the original goal super badly
Now that you mentioned about some kinda Force of Darkness...if the theories about Megabird existance was right, it's possible that we have the same Galaxy size entity made of pure Darkness?
Hm it'll also can tell us from where krills came
Krill just came with the darkness, like how mantas (and the like) come with the light
From where darkness came
We know the source of light (megabirb)
yes that could be a possibility, because i do think balance is one of the themes played around with(?) in sky
Ah fair when light creatures dies unnaturally they produce darkness
i'm confused though, in intro it's stated that light was infinite
and darkness only came afterwards
so is it really naturally-occurring, like did it come on its own or did something trigger it to come
yall can continue because i gotta take my meds and finish up my work, good night/morning/afternoon!
Bye res have a great day
It seems before the Narrator begin to talked about "Darkness came..." the stars seems to lost their connection first right?
Then the Darkness came...and so on
With the stars united, our light was infinite.
But darkness came, and the stars fell...
Together, the fallen stars made a new home in the clouds.
If only they had listened...
A long time has passed. Now, I call to you.
Wake up, child. Bring our lost stars home.
You people don't sneep... How am I suposed to read almost 10 hours worth of messages?!
Bring popcorn and start reading
That's what i do
I go to this channel to help me go to sleep...lol 😅
"the stars fell" does it refer to the elders?
From that scene, before the Darkness came... the stars already lost their unity/connection
Forest elder snatched it all
And from the way the Narrator mention it...the Darkness only caused the stars to fell
Bring popcorn and start reading
That's what i do
@hushed steeple I can't believe I lost all that talking about krills
Actually can I bring up home for a sec?
The picture shows the constilations only connected to eachother through a single route - through a single individual. The whole thing was vulnerable from the start. In Horizon, the lands are all connected through home, but that's not the only path from say, Isle to forest. You could swing home or go through prarie. That's two paths rather than one.
Until Valley, you can also go backwards. Can probably still manage it if you haven't run a race yet.
Well... you can't, but in theory
The game won't let you back in the cloud tunell
But don't know about ancestors
Ah while talking about valley I've a question about those race starting rooms
The ancestors probably can.
This means that one person being lost doesn't sever everyone, just that one.
This may also explain the new throne room - the elders may have realized that relying on only one person to connect them led to their downfall
So they built a system where the best can lead, but the remaining can remain connected
Imagine if the elders fell because the king was the one that lost conection to the light?
one has red flags
Yes
the other only blue onez
Even the elder room has blue flags only
*temple
And stadium has giant red flags
maybe the flying race is supposed to be played in teams?
could i bring up how the arena looked before global relese?
yes
in beta, those rooms and the diffrent sides were diffrent teams, where you decided to sit was he team you were in
there was red and blue
i think it changed cape color to the team too temporarily
so it was a team sort of thing
I've to watch old beta walkthrough again
i saw a photo album with that stuff on imgur
That sounds fun but I can see how competition may fit poorly with the other themes
yeah
okay ive actually found the photo album for old valley
1 candle
not sure if i can send links in chat tho
Thank you
What if we dont have any random player to start the race?
no clue, id geuss youd just wait for one
or maybe it was doable alone
i wasnt around for the beta so i couldnt give you a 100% sure statement
Its fine
Beta had some cool stuffs😔 🤜
Kinda wish there was a way to explore beta world
i wish we had the option to play beta
yeah but it would have been really hard to maintain both
I know that many things are better in live
tru
i think you also used to not get a cape at all until next level and had to ride in skyboats
The controls were apparently rough
Isle - Tandi/Tsadi
Prarie - Aplin/Aylin
Forest - Teth/Tet
Valley Kakashi Twin - Alef/Alet
Valley Dora Twin - Daleth/ Dalet
Wasteland Battlebraids - Lamed (or Caleb as some people translated)
Vault- Samekh
(from one of the earlier messages in this channel, forgot who sent oops)
Interesting that these names are Hebrew alefbet/alphabet... Tsadi (צ), ayin (ע), tet (ט), alef (א), dalet (ד), lamed (ל), and samekh (ס)... Anyway back to lurking ahahaha
Sometimes tho I do flick runs bc I can
you could only move in flicks
I saw some intent in Tara's Memories to connect people via location
@surreal helm someone gave a theory on that someday ago
I am soooo glad that idea got sctapped
Tera* null?
... Probably yeah
Btw@surreal helm why lurking join us... Feel free to talk here
@surreal helm im pretty sure it’s
isle: Daleth
Pairie: Ayin
Forest: Teth
Valley: Samekh
Wasteland: Tsadi
Vault: Lamed
Eden/Prince/King: Alef (prince)/Resh (king)
these names are seen in the concept art, beside their respective characters uwu
Valley twins have the same name👀
afaik yes
#lore-discussion-spoilers message
Here's the meaning of those names in Hebrew
I think its not the any of the elders fault why the connection between them and the King vanish, what if it was the King's fault?
I mean King and the Prince are one right?
The mural says darkness came and stars fall
I still subscribe to the idea that it was a case of all involved had good intentions
Prince may be the first Child of light, and not as perfect as the other childs and has flaws which consider him as unique, but what if the darkness is the King's flaw when he was created?
Dunno
in mural we can see prince/king didn't fell from old home
Maybe darkness caught him
There're 2 king
?
He didn't fell cause he didnt want the other locations to be corrupted as well
Only 1
The elders didn't fell actually they were sent down
Hmm
With the stars united, our light was infinite.
But darkness came, and the stars fell...
Together, the fallen stars made a new home in the clouds.
If only they had listened...
A long time has passed. Now, I call to you.
Wake up, child. Bring our lost stars home.
If the elders were sent, maybe they weren't the stars that fell
"stars fell"
They may have been stars that came to make sure fallen stars were okay
The elders may be the stars
Wait it's confirmed by devs that the fallen stars in intro are elders
To bring the elders home
Brought members of their kingdom and abandoned the light bird to save the kids
I mean they are the ultimate of each constellations
That's the child task
I thought it was confirmed that the eldets were the stars in the mural
It's
Not nessasarily the ones whom fell

If other stars were falling, and you had a piece of a kingdom that wanted to go help them, you might take your people down to ensure the fallen are taken care of
Abandoning those who you used to follow in the process
Especially if your people had the skills to sustain the population
I think people (ancestors) lived in ground from beginning
It's the only elders who fell
There are too many sky children for it to have been only the elders
There were different dialouges
*light children
The 1st One from old beta I guess
"Darkness blinds so I cast them away"
Very interesting
Hmm... Maybe they both can be correct.
The narrator was binded by fear, so the elders left and traveled to Horizon
The narrator might be the king?
maybe thats why the king stayed higher up?
Megabird is the orbit
When the light children fell, the elders wanted to help. When leader said not to, the elders left.
Old home is inbetween eden and orbit
This would also count as a fall from power
Old home is inbetween eden and orbit
@brittle gust I don't think so... That was build after stars fell
Intro
The old home is there already it was destroyed when darkness came
or the narrator sees the darkness blinds a storm happened and the stars fell
What is the purpose of Eden before the corruption occur?
imo narrator is megabird who cast the elders from orbit for being sinful
Then what is King?
But the elders didn't care about power as much as the fallen, so they made themselves leaders of a recovery effort. Forest elder worked in raw resources and technology. Prarie in food and other essentials. Wasteland in mass production of goods needed. Vault in research. Valley in administration, some (lower) level of education, and maybe medical? Then Eden was likely where they were working on the experimental technology. If Eden is the highest point, it would be the best place to try to launch people to the stars
King went brrrr
Sorry took time to type
i equate him with Lucifer. He was kicked out before the other elders
Maybe They tried to go back home from eden
We skykids fullfil their wish
"Wake up child, bring our lost stars home"
If the narrator is Megabird wouldn't the mural draw like Megabird instead?
wdym ?
The one in the center of mural is human figure and megabird is like well bird but majestic
how do we know the person in the centre is the narrator ?
What if they made that powered diamond to go back their old home... Like a giant elevator powered by eden diamond
Well the person in the mural sent the stars away as well as the narrator
There is a "god takes human form" trope that could alternatively be in play
did the crying spirit's friend die from darkness?
Admittedly it wouldn't be human form, but otherwise
@teal sage l4
Oh no... Horrible idea...
Think of how long the manta was stuck for...
How long does death by dark plant take
But in the intro the Human Figure on the mural went down as well
There are 7 tails of light going down
And Seven castles were created once they went down
I think because of the corruption already on King he went down as well to avoid tainting the Orbit, he went to an area where he can touch the ground and reach the sky
I think that's the Eden is
I think Megarbird is a place where lights are stored and is ruled by the King with his Stars
How come?
Megabird is actually Orbit
There are 7 tails of light going down
@brittle gust not really
Why tho it is in the picture that 7 trails of light falling down
But there is a middle trail of light as well
Yes, after the trails go through the clouds there is another one
That’s how it’s inconsistent
The trail is late
Or it was already among the clouds
If the king fell with the stars, why does the imagery representing him change?
Maybe the lines aren't actually stars but metaphors
Before they fall it’s the human figure, and afterwards it’s just the symbol around the king’s head
The clouds are maybe the space between life and death, and when the stars fell that additional line is the lesson they've learned
But that's far fetched
Perhaps the opposite is true?
The next line in the intro is “if only they had listened”. To me that means that they didn’t listen to what the king was trying to teach them by casting them down.
So perhaps Eden was constructed with the king in mind (hence his symbol being there in the mural), and was intended to make the elders powerful enough to become stars again?
So their pursuit of power, represented by appropriating the king’s symbol, and enacted by constructing Eden, was what led to their downfall
But if your thinking was far-fetched mine is probably equally far-fetched
I'd imagine this has already been brought up and spoken about. I read some of the cannon stuff and would like to read more.
I was observing what people wrote about the first murals. What if the original beings of the world included skychildren as a species of light. Like mantas and other creatures. The spirits whom have come down are considered "deities" the creatures of light including sky kids look up to and worship. Makes me wonder if when the stars fell. They have become not part of the gods or goddesses or higher beings but more human hence their life and development on the islands. To then perish and our job as followers is to assist them and find their beginning.
But this also makes me question traveling spirits and seasonal spirits as it looks like a larger civilization going on and not only sky kids running around everywhere. However they could also have been disciples of the elder stars. And have expanded a new life after following
it was said in canon lore that spirits, elders and the kids are different species
thats as far as I do know
are all three different species then?
or are spirits and elders along the same line
as they are designed in similar ways
It makes me think that all of the spirits and elders were stars. The elders being a brighter star with spirits under their constellation as its all connected in a way.
Elders fall to the land and the followers of the constellation join in pursuit.
as well ye
I think sky kids could be something derived from the king
hmmmm owo elaborate more Im interested
I was thinking sky kids are like creatures like jellyfish, manta, whales, more
just look more humanoid
I'm not sure about it ,but they could be like somecreatures born from the kings regret/repentance(if that exists), to atleast save the rest of the spirits, earlier someone had this theory too
or animated pieces of his soul after eden blew up
Why do we think that the king regretted sending the elders down?
not anymore I think
dang
if it was more cannon it
fits some ideas pretty well
explaining why sky kids are a in between of the creatures and the spirits
a bridge
Why do we think that the king regretted sending the elders down?
@delicate coral
I think maybe because it didn't end well for them
Hm, maybe he sent them down for a goal of spreading some kind of knowledge and bring forth advancements in life.
and they ultimately became the end of themselves
regretting that they had given in to the darkness aka sins of life.
greed, sloth, etc
oo the seven deadly sins
I thoughtt hat too ahhhh
There are seven realms indeed
but it would be interesting if each elder gave in to a specific sin in their lives but
maybe each realms represent each "sin"
because of this the king has regretted the decision of sending them down with their followers
we said the same thing just different wording,,,
Hm, maybe he sent them down for a goal of spreading some kind of knowledge and bring forth advancements in life.
@fiery dock That wouldn't match the "darkness came and stars fell" part
i have a seven deadly sins headcanon too
it might make sense if
where the darkness come from tho
I think if we assume that the king is the narrator in the intro (which, I am aware, is a very big assumption), then it wouldn’t be too wild to assume that he actually is not remorseful for sending them down. In the IGN version of the intro, the narrator says “But darkness blinds, so I cast them away”. I think this does somewhat point to the king being the narrator. In this case, where he says “But they did not listen”, it would be condemning the elders, not showing guilt at casting them away.
and becoming interested in the lower realms they have fallen
But King is Eden's Elder
Not necessarily
in the concept arts the prince grew up to be the king
oo got i got it
princes are technically to be king so
its confirmed that there was an eden elder
How canon is that concept art?
true true
At all?
its difficult to say I did read it was just concept
we dont know if its canon so its just a theory
and becoming interested in the lower realms they have fallen
@fiery dock I like this theory. It does match a lot of other mythologies where gods interfere in te afairs of men and make a mess out of it
Oh okay
yeeee
theres a theory where the king we have in lore rn is the prince who grew up
I’ve been thinking that there’s actually no elder for Eden.
I think Eden was built by the elders to gain enough power to become stars again, but it was built with the king’s likeness in mind
no elder but more of the ruler maybe ¿
Isn't Eden " the holy land"?
I was thinking it was just a cooperative effort by the elders
To put it all together. My theory would be.
The king could be one with the brightest star and still remains the brightest.
He has his chosen partners and those partners have followers.
Each elder has fallen because of their curiosity for the life on land. Has since fell due to interfering. They then become more and more human themselves. Living life and eventually perishing in what they have created.
The Sky kids being their bridge to becoming the stars once more, harbor light like all creatures but can also communicate like humans. Because their role is to be a messenger, a bridge. ||They are a messenger who delivers light to their companions stuck in Eden. To then further continue the process like all creatures. Rebirth and relive.||
@fiery dock I like this theory. It does match a lot of other mythologies where gods interfere in te afairs of men and make a mess out of it
Or even worse, medle in the affairs of gods and get kicked out
y'all smartpants for thinking up such theories LMAO i think of absolutely nothing
I’ve been thinking that there’s actually no elder for Eden.
@delicate coral From the introcuction it apears we had 7 elders, even though we don't clearly know where eden's came from since it just pops out of nowhere
y'all smartpants for thinking up such theories LMAO i think of absolutely nothing
@peak ore To me it is 99% crazyness and 1% logic
Yes I’d like to redact my statement
HAHA but I find it genuinely interesting, I love seeing people's ideas of the lore
Nobody:
Me: crabs and krills are arthropods hence related
and finish reading the other cannon stuff
The google doc with the canon stuff specifically says that there ‘was an Eden elder, but he’s not around to be saved anymore’
there we go finished typing lol
@fiery dock there is one for theories
check the pins
oo! is it one we can paste stuff in or mainly for reading
you can paste in stuff i think
never tried it so not sure :^
and have to wait for it to be aproved, as I am
Im super excited
I wanna share mine in more places now. but ill read more first to see if it supports all cannon lore
you just have to place it under the correct topic and then put your discord tag with the number and the theory
oo! okii
What’s between Eden and orbit?
Blown up pieces of Eden
Ascension in a more spiritual context is how I see it
the top half of the palace is floating above eden
50+ new msg within 2 minutes
XDDDD
grab the popcorn
I think I'll go through eden today. Yall got me curious about the assention landscape and now I need to explore it
@mortal viper buddy I'm thinking to go there as well....
I need to play through all of the islands and find hidden secrets to analyze and interpret for my growing theory loo
Well I was thinking that, since the Eden elder’s trail in the intro originates between the stars and Eden, that there might be a clue of his origin there
@hushed steeple Let's go together or you would rater compare notes later?
Let's go together
I'd love to hop in but @ me when you finish! I'd love to read them
But I just watched the sequence on YouTube and there doesn’t seem to be anything noteworthy there
It kinda just goes from the collapsing kingdoms straight to the top of Eden in orbit from what I can see
Did you guys know you can turn around and return to the darkness?
Are these related in any way?
When you become all glow after Eden?
Ah
All soldiers masks are
I made a chart with the masks and their relation to jobs according to the spirits using them
It’s not canon
Juts my theory
when reading the hints
The forest elder mask is a representation of a possible king head. as stated in lore hints
I was wondering if there would be a familial connection between forest elder and the king
would be fun to read up on
but also power stones too
a lot of it is about diamond shapes
It's entirely possible they carved diamond shapes because of their beloved king.
This season introduced an intetrsting concept. This week, and probably following weeks, we found a broken bell containing a memory of it ringing. Does this mean objects have memories?
The game comes off very spiritual. I wouldn't be surprised if it does!
many people say that vases and jars have memories
vibrations and hollowness contain the memories of people who have spoken near it
I've also heard wood does too
The bells also start off dark before the memories are restored
I acknowledge that there is a bunch of potentially missing context... But I'm wondering if that's not unrelated
Maybe dark creatures also have missing memories?
The other crabs don't always seem to have darkness until you flip them
Also they tend to pick up a lot of darkness when you cook them

🔥
... In my defense, cooking doesn't kill them
And like... I still don't have answer as to why we can cary them
ok so do the scrolls in the boat at home and bookworm spirit both imply the existence of paper in sky?
guess so
not everything—especially mechanics that are meant to be fun—have or need ties to lore.
No reason why we can't still speculate
It's also fun to neatly tie in things that shouldn't fit
My thoughts on the bells are like the bells in prairie towers start dark until the candles below them are lit, then they become golden, maybe the shine on the bells are restoration. I would like to work the ghost bells into that theory, possibly they are our memory of how we restore the broken bells back to the tower in sanctuary
I need to check in forest again too.
I'm referring to holding and 'cooking' crabs. Our gameplay engineer did that for fun.
Really wondering how the sunglasses cosmetic relates to the lore... Do they exist to protect the wearer from UV... or others from the light that the sky kids emit??!!
I think that we need to find the compound used in the lenses to fully understand....
Anyone have any info on that?
Think about it, NO other spirits (that I am aware of) have sunglasses....
Must be some sort of weapon maybe???
Too dangerous in the hands of the regular spirits??
Who knows.......
guys- so I was looking at this skeleton right?
Actually, if we put our mind to a simpler way of thinking, I think sunglasses are just there to fits the theme of summer? :'D
Just like how Ktjn said about why we can hold and cook crabs, it's intention is just for fun, I was thinking sunglasses doesn't really have any role on the Lore, it was just added to fit the theme of summer vacation :'D
Mhm?
its skull is perfectly split in half
that means either theres a spirit strong enough to do that, or it has some sort of function to open its skull
and I dont like either cause how the hecc do you do that-
Yes, I noticed it too ;;
I imagined it was crashing into the building head on
Though the shocked spirit does have a bow and arrow, so who knows
Now if I think about it, this skeleton resembles more of a Krill in my mind, judging from the points horn and one hole for eye(?), but it gave you whale voice
but krill are more slim
Maybe a whale was actually the one who did it?
idk.. it seems like a mix between a krill and crab
but krill are more slim
Hmm, you got the point..
the mask also seems to be reminiscent of that skeleton..
I think its a completely other creature, unless its maybe that giant fish in the cave part of the forest?
idk, it seems super cool to me tho
This skele also resembles the one in vault right?
true!
Ah does it? :'D
the spine
I remember the head have a slightly different shape tho
the skeletons in vault seem absolutely huge, maybe even bigger than the giant fish
Ah "dismayed hunter" is the spirit with bow and arrows
O h wait yeah !
but whales are mammals and fish are not nvm
the skeleton is a whale
it would make sense, cause you wouldnt just have one single type of fish/whale right?

you can see the head shape :3
Oooh !
yeye

h m m
there you go for closer comparison
yeah that looks like it
;; man I adore this channel Lore too cool to not invest time in and to think about
xD
the only thi nhg that bother me is the skeleton looks a lot more.. sharp
well it is the bone
there would be layers of flesh and muscle
to soften it up
and it could also be the
jaw power in the whale when needing food to survive
hm.. I think its def a whale, but may not be the same type of whale?
So, there are two whales before, but only one survived and we see it in the underground cave in the forest, the Border between Valley and Wasteland then we can also meet it during ascension
it would be interesting if
mhm
the whales we meet survived off of a different
food source
than the ones that passed away
pffff true
I think it’s jus one whale moving
but yeah- W A I T
Food source eh?
Now that you mentioned it
Rather then multiple whales
We children never really eats anything 😂
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
cause the one in ascension just bashes its head into the pillar
so maybe that has to do with the skull?
thats p funny not gonna lie :'3
and no I dont want the children to have mouths-
the children are fine as is!
mhm
Yes 😂
Let them just h omk
I’m way too lazy to backread 500+ messages
What are u guys talking about?
I love whales
From Kings to whales
i didnt even back read lol
I was def here to speak about the role of the sky kid and reasons for stars falling and becoming more human
but then went out for lunch
Most of the time I do
But if it’s 500+ then yeah I have to skip 😂
I have just finished back reading 😂
Help, my eyes--
look at the emojis
More human....wdym by that
U must be new
its different-
Who chanting?
King?
im confusion
I think those are jus the voices of the spirits amio
And yeah those have been there
It’s more of a fun joke that this discord server has
ye
so when I say more "human"
oH N O
I think those are jus the voices of the spirits amio
@sly kestrel that's so scary jay
T h ose voices
I had the thought that what if the elders came down from being stars into beings because they interfered with the world below
Yeah, wear headphones they are pretty creepy
and hve become absorbed in by the 7 sins

what are these?
Sticker
ik but like what creature is that..
Numbles u might have to go into #general-sky-discussion if u jus wanna talk about stickers
It’s a krill
Passive and angry
no
xD
Ah jay you asked what about we were talking... So I'm putting this again for you... What the statue has on its back?
There’s a lot of statues like that in eden but there’s a clear one in orbit so u can see the back thingy
Idk what it is tbh
I never much looked into it
You know, I always thought the darkness that the narrator mentioned before the stars fell are most likely are,, like not literal darkness?
As if darkness means as greed or smth related to it?
BUT GUYS WE GOT OUR PRAIRE DOC LES GOOOOO
👀
??
🏎️
I saw praire and I was like OOOHHH PRAIRE DOC

Idk what it is tbh
I never much looked into it
It doesnt look very clear too because of the mist(?) Though, so it does kind of hard to see :'D
amio
?
I’ll go to eden for u
@sly kestrel we just went there bruh... We could go there together
I think I could try to draw it
Too bad it’s covered and clipped in STONE
There are king statue as well in orbit👀
I was like
"Wait, doesn't that looks like it was being merged with the s t one?"
O h !
I wouldn’t say king statues tho
Propaganda head
To me they look like scholars or simply higher ppl
This buddy
Could be yes
Yeah that’s a king statue
Oh right !
Also have you ever thought whose castle it was that was falling apart during ascension? Could it be the king's palace tho?
Yes
Ah.. It could be yes, we did see the statues in Eden too
Then the castle is s p litted in h a l f?
Because of that crystal? Squints
oo I was curious. Do sky kids sleep at home or would everyone's sky kid make shelter in some of the realms ;3 even tho home is where we hang out a lot
Any theory about this alien?
sky kid being pushed back by rock
but lost all light
and solidified in this pose
feels bad
What about the cristals?
But they have some crystal growing around them though?
We don’t see them in eden statues
hmm
Mhm
But they have some crystal growing around them though?
@hearty bramble in them
Yes in them
unsure! would need deep thought
Weirdly the crystals are blue, not red
Now I'm not sure if Eden are cold or not but yes! I was about to say that x'D
Frozen,,
They didn't make it to Lit the torch and freezed?
But they do still have physical bodies though, I'm not sure if spirits can be Frozen or not x'D
Oh man just realized those are from old beta eden
Wait, isnt it still there if we go to Eden again? Or did the crystal is gone now and it changed to like the stone children at the Eden?
ok, this is what I think is on the back of the statues based on the pics we took
#lore-discussion-spoilers message check this
I think I remember they do still have the crystal detail, but I'm not very sure :'D
now I have to go, but I will come back later
Wow
I can see the elders from here
Sanctuary is a little different, we wanted to create a getaway vacation experience because so many of us have been in lockdown for many, many months. Not everything is necessarily official canon for this season. Though that can be applied to any season. Sometimes we need to break the fourth wall a bit to create good gameplay experiences.
Ktjn, I mean your gameplay engineer didn't make a mistake by letting us cook crabs that's for sure. I am still gonna use it as theory material tho - it can be more fun to make sense out of nomsense (typo noticed but kept) than it is to actually get to the truth
I know, and all theories are 100% welcome here.
I've seen some folks in here come down pretty hard on one another about what "real and true canon" and honestly, that's not the purpose of this channel. It's for everyone to let their imaginations run wild, not to argue about who is correct or create some kind of gatekeeping.
We've presented the story of Sky intentionally vague so that you can freely project your interpretation of it without anything being concretely right or wrong.
when I saw sanctuary I did have a feeling it was mainly for the fact that many people are having difficult times and or cannot go out for many reasons. A means to be outdoors without actually risking your own health for it. ❤️ I think we all truly appreciate that.
And it's SO BIIIIIIG
hey what is your guys thoughts on the valley elder's weird arms, it seems like both have an arm that looks different than the other?
I had not noticed. Do you have a pic?
not atm but i can try to get a pic visiting them oob in a bit
My overall theory for them is that they are only two people because they are both competitive and have too big of a job for one being
The single person probably got so conflicted that they just kinda... Snapped in two
or they just got so bored that they split in two to have someone to play sports with
thats it!
If you look at the state of Valley, it seems clear that while things are breaking, the twins take their jobs seriously
Why don't the valley elders light up??
guy’s left and gal’s right arm are different
yeah anyone got a theory why their arms are different?
looks like its mechanical or prosthetic
They are buffed
They have different dominant hands, so it would make sense that their gear would be on different sides
They could also be prosthetics, yes. Which side are the eyes here?
Sister's is at a heavier angle
Both hands
guys eye is on right while gals is on left
It looks like their eyes are oposite the buff arm
ye
Here you can see different hands.
And the hands in which they are holding bats are the hands which looked mechanical
Maybe the split left them both short handed?
its too blurry for me to see xD
That may imply an artificial leg as well
And why is Valley divided into two parts ( fly race and slide race) and one part ( fly race) looks to be more superior than the other. Does it have to do something with elders? Weren't they friendly siblings (though the cutscene just looks like a brother messing around with his sister for Fun)
My guess is that the fly race may have come later
That or the slide race was something that started out as a "street" thing that later became official
if you look at the flags in each race you’d see one race is red and one race is blue
But at end, both the parts meet together once again
So together, apart and then again together
if you look at the flags in each race you’d see one is red and one is blue
@spring blaze
I've seen that too
The slide race appears to go through an area that's used for actual day to day living while the fly race only goes through clouds and official racing areas
if you look at the flags in each race you’d see one race is red and one race is blue
@spring blaze perhaps a reference to the old red and blue teams when the races were competitive?
ooh
i dont have the pics themselves but someone pointed it out here w pics lol
don’t remember who
And I heard valley colonies were divided between the high and low class
They had separate colonies
High class in fly race
Low in sliding
I have photos of the houses
oh yeah its like concepted in tom zhao’s art
I hope that's "high and low" because of navigation needs rather than resource accessibility
People who would prefer to fly can likely handle areas high enough that bridges aren't practical, and get from place to place easier because of it
Those who are ground bound by need or preference would enjoy safer travels and easier home maintenence
Note how the high are in clouds and all the housed are I'm good condition where in low they are situated "low" and kind of broken
It looks like the low ones may have been affected by snow slide
I'm sorry for being offtopic but I just could ignore one side being black and other being white
By high and low , I mean the Rich and the middle classes (workers)
In honesty though... We can't treat what we see as represenative of how the high class homes survived.
They are on flying crystals. The home falls apart, the remains would go up higher bc weight reduction
The crystal fails, and the building crashes to the ground
Everything in slide race is destroyed and covered in snow while only a few things are broken in the fly race
Not everything... I remember a lot of well maintained slide buildings. (Some damaged along the path tho)
And the flight race would ONLY have well off buildings because if they weren't in good condition, they wouldn't be there.
Either they'd fly up or fall, being unseen through the clouds
I just noticed that in vault today too
legit
he just goes
right back
sorry for all those screenshots
but
what
how cool is this yooooo
also he was still attacking us when he was with the nice crabs
yeah he didnt go nice at ALL ;_;
but why 🤔
i mean its coz he is corrupted i assume and wants to gtfo before he cries but...its interesting that they added in the feature of him walking ALL THE WAY BACK
that crab is dedicated
I am personally wondering about the Skykid digestive system? I can't seem to put my finger on it.... I can see that in ||the office||there are toilets, which indicates that spirits have the ability to expel their waste that has been digested by their bodies....
Is the golden wasteland a giant sewer??
office isn't part of the lore though
it's an easter egg
you can't really take what's in office and apply it to Sky
I think I will begin drafting a working diagram of the skykid digestive system soon...
office is literally TGC's actual office
I see....
But again
have YOU ever seen your sky kid "use the restroom" if you will?
I mean
it's a game
for all ages, including children
in most games (and movies), you don't see people doing that
and we don't see sky kids eat either because they don't have mouths so
but they have the full stomach emote in the new season?
Yes!
Exactly
So they do eat
that means that they must digest
I think there is more to this than meets the eye
🤔
No... you're right... what a ridiculous concept.....
But on a more serious note..... what about their tanning?
Wasn't he... In a cave though?
do they tan from the light w/in or the sunlight
