Looking at the two races, think abt the flying race. It has the Citidel AND this big grand flyibg race that's p long, and its in the light and going up the mountain. While the sliding race... well... it goes down hill, and it looks more broken down and worn. And its in shadow... the shadow of his brother. I think spiky haired twin was more favored over the other. Plus how one politely asks for your flame, and the other knocks it away.

I have a thing to say about butterflies.
The butterflies are attracted towards light... ALWAYS.And they are themselves a form of light. That's why they are always found in a group. When we fly near them they come to us, cause we have light too. Also, I belive when we honk. The circle going outwards is light not a sound wave. That's why butterflies get attracted when we honk. In the prarie elder cutscene, the elder take light and makes a butterfly, that's why I belive they are pure light. The butterfly circles us cause yeasssssss, it's attracted to light. Then it sits on elder's shoulder cause the elder has light now. The pot which the elder has also has light coming out of it. That's why the butterfly instantly goes in the pot. However, I think the butterflies stop moving or flying when there's darkness. That's why the prairie temple is dark. When the gate opens, the temple get filled with light and the butterflies come out bcause they get attracted to light

I also think that the butterflies were raised by some spirits. One spirit raised butterflies in a rock with little shelves things. That's why he keeps checking them to see if a butterfly has been born ( dk if born is the right word)

Krill can't eat us cause we are made of a hard material ( prolly stone or hardened clay). However, they don't understand that thing cause ofc they're dumb.
Our wings fall out when they hit. That's bcse our wings are also a part of our light ( I mean they fill us more with light) the krill is pure darkness. When it touches us. Some of our light falls from our body.
Note that their motive is definately to eat.
CaUse the krill in the power diamond factory eats a manta. A manta isn't made of a hard material like us that's why they get eaten

I have a theory that may makke too much sense not to share.
Sky kids are extremely polite telepaths.
Consider: people can't understand what we're saying unless we've ganed communications with them via either sitting in a chat area with them or getting permission to chat freely.
We seem to be the only creatures that acknowledge spirits, but if we could telepathicallly hear spirits, then they would need no physical forms at all, making iit so that krill and crabs have nothing to see.
We also seem to be capable of giving complex instructions to light (see: higher level emotes) using nothing but gestures and noises, while most of the light wouldn't nessasarily be aware of what those things mean.

i wouldn't call it an out of bounds technique, but it's quite questionable whether you're meant to be able to do that -- either way though, if you look towards the temple-like structure from the beginning before you pass the rocks, you should be able to see a giant pipe

it s probably because of game mechanics, if you look close the shadows are just cast objects that are blurred a bit

probably has to do with raytracing a cloth simulation

The no shadow cape is a technical limitation and adding shadows would he a lot of work and effort and something so little of a detail jus ain’t worth it so they decided not to put it
