I assume its the old look of the temple, which wasn't updated, as its oob there.

There’s not exactly much involved in the process of modelling Mantas and Jellyfish and making them do their respective things like flying and... bobbing up and down, which I’m sure certainly makes it easier for the 3D modellers to get things done quickly.

Ah, yes. Boats do appear in the game, as painting on murals or as wrecks you see across almost each world in-game.

If you take a look through the murals you see on the Isle’s monolith and under the Forest’s bridge at the start, you can see they were mostly used for transportation.

Well there was these stars/elders and this child of light seemed to be the center and with the stars together, their light was infinite
Then something bad happened, and i don’t have any ideas what happened but the stars/elders fell and they lived with the people on the ground building a home.
Then other stuff happened and the world went to ruin, so skykids were sent to bring the elders and spirits home and the skykids seemed to take the same form of the lil child at the beginning, but anyways, our mission is to bring home the elders.

Boats huh, maybe sticking all pictures of boats together give as a sign about what comes down next season. Like they kinda look like the one in the tease

Those boats are carrying the elders..
But anyways, boats are mainly for the use of carrying pots of light. You can see these pots of light being made at prairie and I say pots of light because there are butterflies put inside them. In the wave emote cutscene u can actually see the flying boat that’s carrying a bunch of pots.
These pots are being shipped to forest to make power diamonds, they combine the light with organic material at forest and use a diamond press to combine them into an artificial Star, or what we call “power diamond”. You can actually see the concept of this by looking at the forest temple door mural. And I know I’ve been explaining this theory over and over and over again but I’m in quarantine and I got nothing else to do but heres another way of looking how power diamonds are made. This “diamond press” in the picture is also seen at the golden wasteland, and there’s a krill flying around it. Also the shipwreck at wasteland is seen to be carrying certain pieces of this diamond press, it goes to the top and sides. Now I know there’s boats everywhere and not all of them are carrying pots of light, so I jus assume they are for transportation since the people on the ground can’t fly naturally

*awkward hand raise * so uh elders, in cutscenes, they take flame from you and turn it into uuh stuff and/or use it for power. In Prairie elder cutscene, he turns your flame into a butterfly. Butterflies are used to make diamonds, and diamonds power,,,, things. Could there have been skykid "farms"? ( I know this doesnt make much sense but to my brain at 3:00 am, it did.)
