I'm not sure about this but I really feel like I just saw that today with a spirit from the second area. The only thing I have to support this is a nagging feeling in my head that there was someone flying there without the help of a giant winged boat.

i was rewatching gratitude spirits memories in yt and the closest thing i see a spirit fly is the prairies one
i can never forget how frustrating it was getting to that one flying spot on the boat at the caves cus everyone was there

@wind sail if you checked the pinned posts about eden and orbit you’ll see info about the megabird.
It isn’t currently an in game object, but there are images and references to it all over in game. There’s a constellation outlined in the stars when you look up in orbit while running around in the water, there’s the red bird symbol that circles the portal to the office, and there’s the giant fiery roughly bird shaped image in the end credits.

Given the theme of cycles of life (seasons, birth/death/rebirth/reincarnation, celestial cycles) could the Sky Children be a generation far removed from the spirits and elders?
For example, the Elders and Spirits were generations close in time, but due to the Cataclysm of the Diamond Eye the next generation (Sky Children) were not born/created by the MegaBird for a long time?

I dont know much of the deep sky lore / early concept. But i read something about a King and Prince here. Suddenly remembered it during my Eden run last night and thought “wAit is the Light child you hug the Prince or good soul of the King??!”

MegaBird is trying to rebalance the Light cycle.
The Light Spirits and Elders are truly gone, leaving guideposts and help to the kids.

I decided to not record stories from seasonal spirits, because I can't ensure my recording can provide clear enough info to be discussed, and walkthrough can be easily found on video websites. Currently there're 30 spirits can provide a short scene, and the rest 25 emotes don't have a story or are seasonal emotes.

The melody consists of only 4 notes, which are C#D#F#G# in this video. The first 4 notes (C#G#F#D#) in the recording did not repeat itself in this 1:30-long video, so the song was longer than I thought.
I checked 3 lights: They were singing in different keys, which apparently do not correlate with the backgound key.
- The first light in Wasteland: C#D#F#G# (Key of instruments: E♭/D# major)
- The first light in Prairie: CDFG (Key of instruments: C major)

I actually paid attention to the spirit on the middle island in Prairie the other day. Forgot to mention that. It looks to me like they pray first, next to one of the buried boats near the shore. Then they head up the hill, and keep watching the sky.
To me, that says they had a partner, who left in a boat and was expected back. They pray for a safe return - a dangerous voyage then. And they keep looking out, but the boat doesn’t return.

I feel like the only thing that isn’t in too much of ruin is the place where the Elders statue is. I feel like maybe the krill at the time were like security, body guards or whatever to protect the statue. Assuming whatever someone mentioned a while ago that maybe elders reside within the statue or at least use it as a calling point. Do you think whoever was trying to attack the wasteland at the time was trying to call the elder or idk maybe kill it and somehow did something to where the krill went on offensive mode and started roaming about and maybe killed off all the people before the gate hence all the weapons and stuff scattered by that button area?
And if that were the case that before the krill would target only enemies but after or during the war started to target anything and everything that moves in its view. Bc the sneak spirit can be seen trying to hide from a krill as it patrols

Yeah so it wouldn’t be too far fetched that krill, MAYBE even if they weren’t different appearance wise their function back then that they were used as a security measure and also to scare people
Even if their function then was still to attack anything in its radius that they find, they would most likely be confined to certain areas to protect, maybe they were kept within barriers and once the war happened the barrier came down and krill roamed more freely

So, some fuel for discussion: Elder designs and how they relate to their respective levels. I believe the masks of each elder relate to something significant in each level. Isle(boat), Prairie(pots), Forest(stars?), Valley(split mountain), Wasteland(destroyed boat), and Vault(elevator). I’m still trying to figure out if the hair styles play in as well, so I thought I may as well table it for discussion.
