Today's Eden run is quite the experience for both me and my Moff
So we both died after giving out our wl, no problem there all right,,, until I died and we both got the god's pov glitch unable to move on after some time we finally got back down to the actual area to accompany another skid who apparently had also glitched and is spinning like how food would in a microwave tried spamming fireworks to no avail and that's when we decided to restart the game after death-looping several times a truly bizarre adventure indeed

when I was a new moth (who was always taeken around by a friend of mine) that reached eden for the first time,I went alone and was guided by a vet till the safeplace withthecrabs. They were having a tea party in eden XDD andthenI asked them what I was supposed to do and they were VERY cryptic with their awnserr and I was like??? REINCARNATION??? WHAT??? andwhen I reached the boulder part i was like...... no way I am going to survive this and then I closed the game and tried to go back to other rewalms but ALL THE GATEWAYS WERE EMPTY AND i asked a friend to pull methrough a doorway and I JUST WENT TRIGHT TRHOUGH and istarted crying because I thought Iwill never see my closest sky friend and again because she was in another part of the world and we were only connected through sky. and my irl friend who used to olay sky told me I'd have to die to see my friend again and I was like?????? I s sHE DEAD TOO?? so I purposely got killed by boulders instead of giving my wl to the statues and then I WA REBORRN AGAIN and I gugged my firend and saidI WAS NEVER GOING TO EDEN AGAIN.

Ive been to eden some 5 times now!

My personal reminders whenever I go to eden:

• Only go to Eden when you know you have lots of free time, take your time inside Stormlock

• REMEMBER to look around, use the camera to your advantage, zoom out as much as you can and take note if there's any unlit statues or if you've given wl to all the ones around you. I usually just randomly give wl to the statues at the beginning area (orange line) and use that camera method to my advantage, fortunately I've never missed a statue.

• ALWAYS, ALWAYS light up ALL the light shrines in the occasional rock rain area, ESPECIALLY light shrine L (white circle), I use it as a marker that I'm halfway through zone 1.

• There's two areas (three statues) that are behind another shrine! (Blue circles)

• There's two other statues that are hidden behind the rocks that don't have its own light shrine (green circles).

• The purple circles are statues that I noticed I often missed during my first eden runs, I always make a mental mantra when going inside to remember that those statues exist.

• The eternal rock rain area is pretty straightforward BUT there are times where you tap and the game doesn't register so double check if your lights are reaching the statues.

• Don't jump at zone 2-3, run and look around only.

• If you want to have the chance to get most, if not all statues, enter with at least 120+ WL (safest is at least 150+ to get all, especially with how brutal the latest Eden update is)

• Practice to perfect the timing of the rock rain, there are also times where you can dodge the red rocks and avoid getting burnt even if it's raining.

You can't really see the wl in orbit, only hear it. Once you walked the door of rebirth, you'll hear the sound of collecting wing light as long as you don't tap skip instantly

i got friended by a moth in vault and tried to take them through eden but i glitched under on accident, got respawned, and they werent with me

i told them beforehand that eden was dangerous but i hope they did ok

Pietla was absolutely horrified the first time he ventured into eden. He had the most wings bc he was the eldest in his group of traveling friends and he watched then lose all their light before him and crumble into spirits, and there was nothing he could do to help.
He tried to hug them and hold them together but they crumbled into dust and fell through his fingers.
That's when he developed an obsession. The next time he went to eden he found his friends who had left behind stone shells and statues of their reaching, suffering bodies, and he gave them his wings to be reborn and saved them. From then on he didn't fear death, or the closest thing a skykid could get to death.

He decided to study it instead, developing a not altogether healthy obsession with petrification and worked to research and develop potions that would revert stone children back to their original clay forms.
His first successful experiment was reviving the stone bird at the front steps of the Citadel, and the giant bird to this day acts as kind of his familiar and helper, sending messages and collecting material from the different portals for him and bringing it back to the aviary or his lab in the village.

I think Pietla would also have a small makeshift home and living area and study in Citadel, but there's limited room in the citadel's structures so he usually moves to the Village.
And yeah that's how he became obsessed with petrification and even the process of himself turning to stone. He might have experimented on himself and before he's reborn he'll have patches of smooth marbled stone replacing where soft skin should be, where he's placed droplets and amounts of revival potions that either worked or left him petrified. He goes to Eden both for research and collecting samples, and to sort of restore his marbled body.

As terrifying as it is, Vahsili has probably found him once or twice completely petrified, seemingly meditating in the aviary or lying in bed when he's been completely turned to stone and unable to save himself with revival potion in time.

Thank you! Not really a theory but my own fan lore for why my skykid oc is the way he is because of his experiences

Pietla's potions vary in strength and effectiveness and speed of recovery bc over time he's grown more and more resistant to potions. Eden and rebirth is the only sure way to recover.
Maybe Vahsili literally found him in that underground area of forest, half covered by moss and surrounded by birds.
Either he's found in the underground area at the very top of the mountain spire across from the exit, or in the end area of forest where the jellies and birds are flying into Valley.

He's sitting, kneeling or w legs folded in a peaceful praying position with his eyes closed, a peaceful smile on his face and birds resting on his arms lap and shoulders.

Vahsili might be like, what a weird, incredibly detailed statue.

N then he finds a potion vial just a ways from the statue and uses it. It has no effect on him. Then he uses it on the statue on a whim... and the rest is history.
