the krill in eden have a "light-killing aura": touching them at all will make you lose all your light no matter what, including if you graze them when they don't see you

the home trick will stop you from losing any winged light, but it won't stop the eden krill from extinguishing you on contact

collecting the spirits just give you wax, you can make 2 candles when doing this (same goes for your flying friends after the spirit part) you do not need to collect them if you don't want to

We got something like this today, took 2 moths to their first eden run, after we died it showed floating rocks, with a cloud formation somwhere down below us, all 4 got a crash, and we had to restart and resume into different servers. We had already died, but when we loaded back in, we had to walk with a wingless "undead" character through the red rocks for a bit till we finally got the cutscene.

I feel like there is a deeper lore to the big red crystal in Eye of Eden. Perhaps the Eden Elder is trapped in there? It’s at the end of the map where the other elders are usually at. Also, after we and the kids we rescue are ready to go to orbit, we fly into the orbit’s light, so maybe when that little caption that pops up on our screen that says “The Light Awaits” when we go into Eden, that means there is still a little light left in Eden that the Elder was able to save

There is something some players gave named "kill switch" that after about 20 minutes from the first kid that lost all their light... everyone else in that server starts loosing WL too.
