a few weeks ago i downloaded sky for the first time and in the same day i did the eye of eden with 2 ppl i met that day, we died, of course. i went in with 25 winged light or so cant remember. anyways the point is that i KNOW its important to die bc thats how youre reborn but, i thought that you could get past the level without dying

but i just found out that,,, there is no surviving no matter what you do????

In the very early beta version of the game, it was possible to survive Eden and make it to the final stage without dying completely. But that was changed pretty early on so yeah, everyone dies in Eden. How quickly you die just depends on how many winged lights you have, if you have a bunch (like 100+) it will take longer for you to run out. Then you just get sent up to Orbit at the end, it's the same for everyone

No problem! If you have a lot of winged lights, you can make it pretty far and get really close to that big red diamond in the distance. You can't get right next to it because there's a wind wall, but it can make for some interesting screenshots with all of the rocks and the red light haha

A lil trick I always use is not jumping at all at the endless rock rain and use a tiny/shrink spell so your hit box is smaller!
Makes me fall down less, just get knocked back a bit as usual

Just once a week, you can't go twice unless you missed giving light to some of the statues.
Eden resets once every week on Sunday and the max Ascended candles you can get from there is 17-ish/ week

Anyone have the problem of getting stuck in a death loop during eden? Your kid stops, explodes into a soul, it fades, you end up back in eden, slow heartbeat, explode, repeat a few times. But this last time it would not stop, I had to close the game and reopen it.

You mean death loop? I think that happens when one of the people in your server hasnt died yet. And to go to orbit with your friend, you have to die at the same time. My friend and i usually keep chatting when we arrived in the dark room, so that we all hug the kid and fly at the same time

Katto, you'll see once you're there, but there are some statues with flames that you can light up to recharge yourself a bit, and in the first section the rock rain lasts for a few seconds and then stops, so you can run around in between it and give winged lights. Once you reach a certain point though, the rock rain becomes constant and then you just have to keep running until you run out of winged lights

How I Do Eden:

1: Tell my two friends “GET ON. WE ARE DOING EDEN NOW OR NEVER.”

2: Get dressed appropriately

3: Enter Eden

4: Use my friends as checkpoints to get to PNR

5: We split up and do our thing.

More on checkpoints:

1: Get to safe spot

2: Have friend warp

3: Attempt to get to next safe spot

4: Warp back because you where seen by a krill

5: So on and so fourth until PNR

yesterday an precious timid moth asked me for help, to guide them through eden
well, I failed so hard, got krilled several times, I lost like 10 wl and idk about them, but they had lvl 6 and once we managed to get close to pnr they got 5 wedges.
I usually dont uber the eden but when I did go alone it was fine, never as bad as yesterday. It breaks my heart that after all that pain they got from me they were still so thankful and happy, only a bit scared, which is understandable.
And the worst part is that when we finally made it to that passage with final 10 wl to collect before its show time, they said they have to go.
Im worried that they have lost their light for nothing and that they just went somewhere else so the return shrine wont work, and they will need to look for help again.
I am so upset over this, I am a bad vet, not ready to help moths ._.

I'm late, but a lot of ubers use the oob route so in #looking-for-group-live you can ask someone to take you to pnr using oob route (spoiler tagging pnr because youre not in eden spoilers channel). I know the oob route, but don't have time to show at the moment, sorry

I'd say 75 is enough, I'd recommend getting as many wl as possible before you go in though if you have the patience to go back and find them all

My take on the ending is kind of what you'd expect when you "pass over" to a heavenly type of place. Watching the end actually made me kind of sad - very emotional. Did anyone else feel this? 🙂
