So i made it to this discord after my first successful (??) Trip to Eden
I had so much winged light. But I didn't feel like it would matter much if I just kept pushing forward
Now I've been rebirthed for the first time and I'm searching for all the spirits and such... This time I'm wanting to take so much time, enjoying everything. I really love this game.
Now even though I only have 3wl i feel I've learned so much, the gameplay is so smooth after learning how to interpret it. Even without as much wl as I'm used to, i can still navigate so much better than I could starting out my first time.
So, educate me, friends: what now? What do I get to look forward to? I can't wait to dive back in and experience more, but there is so much to learn.

after playing sky for months I was terrified to even walk close the door to eden, but this past week I watched a lot of videos and guides to go through and yesterday I went to my first eden run by myself. I ended with 12 ascended candles and got 10 wing buffs (I think I was pretty good for a first time lol) Now I can understand why people are so obsessed with eden because I'm shaking to go there again before reset to save the children that I've left behind and get more ascended candles

1: have a lot of WL. General knowledge but there's around 60 statues or something and you'll need more to get them in the infinite rock rain.
2: try to minimise getting hit in the first area, you want to keep as much WL for the infinite rock rain faze.
3: don't jump In infinite rock rain. Seriously. Don't.

Going with a friend with warp unlocked is also SUPER USEFUL. Seriously, it's amazing.
Sometimes rocks can hit you through cover, so try to go as deep into the cover as possible.
and the first duty if you get to said cover is to light the lantern so you can recharge your light.

The first time I went through Eden, I had to guide two moths through via handholding. I was stressed out of my mind trying to make sure that they stayed safe and didn't die. We even got stuck out-of-bounds at some point.
One moth ended up leaving, and the other stook with me until the very end. Though I seriously thought that I got the moth killed since I didn't know about the scripted death, and I felt awful when I saw him die during the final stretch.

ok so my friend asked me to take them and their moth friend through eden. after much of me going first, everyone talking, complaining about krills and more, we made it to point of no return all pretty much fine.
that's when the fun started.
they struggled slowly forwards together while i bounded ahead, died, and promptly got caught in death loop. except, first time i looped one of them was still alive and i had all my cosmetics yet was still capeless and darkened. you can guess what happened

When I was in point of no return I thought there was an exit i was desperately trying to get there and when I was looking my wings I was legitimately worried and it was intense I was trying to keep my light burning and was desperate

Then the entrance door closed sjskkd
I laughed, she rolled on floor crying. A moth showed up, then we both helped the moth all da way.

So I've gotten a lot of mixed feedback on this, but is eden better with or without chibi mask? The third part specifically, I'll be getting an uber for the first two parts
I heard that you shouldn't jump in the third part, but does chibi affect how likely you are to get hit by the rocks?

it depends, theres a lot of pros and cons to being tall and short, when youre tall, its easier to jump, but its also harder to hide from rocks. On the other hand, being a chibi means that you can hide behind really small crevices, but the wind blows you backwards easier.
For the third part, i usually jump like crazy, but they might be referring to the last area of eden (with the constant rock rain), because if you jump in the last area, you get knocked down regardless of size. but for the 3rd part of eden (thats right before the point of no return) ive heard that chibis sometimes get knocked oob in that area, but i usually dont go to eden as a chibi so i cant confirm

From my own experience I did get blown back and lost more wings with chibi mask in the non-stop rock part, but if you already have enough wl to reach last few statues there shouldn't be a big trouble between chibi/non-chibi imo
Personally I would prefer to use default size and grab a map if you're not familiar with locations of statues

Wing lights don't reset, they stay in your cape until you lose them somehow (either by getting hit with a krill or standing in the rain too long, or going all the way through Eden and giving your lights to the statues)

Yeah, they'll be there for you to collect again once you die and are reborn. Or if you lose a winged light from a krill or something, you lose random ones so the Eden winged lights could be ones that you could potentially lose and have to recollect again

i've had that happen once, but it was after completing an eden run which began before reset and didn't finish until after reset (i.e. i didn't finish the rebirht process until after reset) -- i think in such a scenario, that causes your statue progress from the previous week to get carried over into the new one without resetting

@lost ice Are you specificslly returning to the 0 light huddled over slow walking part right before you turn to stone? Or is your blue soul light sticking around the other players in the lobby? If it’s your light hanging around, that’s intentional. If you are resetting to back before you turned to the blue light it’s the zombie/ death loop bug. Walking around a bit until you die again usually fixes it for me but if it happens a few times in a row try resetting your game like jen said

that’s not necessarily correct. in the japanese translation of the game, the area is distinctly called « original sin », likely in reference to Adam and Eve committing the original sin in the garden of eden. but the translation of « eden » is not original sin, « eden » in hebrew means delight or pleasure (the garden was legit named « Garden of Delight »)

/hey guys i think i just discoverd a bug, So like, I was at the two krills area in eden, and I was standing at the end of the round road (?) at the pipes. Then a krill spot me, which iirc krills never spot me there, so i panicked home trick and then half way of falling I thought, "no way im going back up there" so i exit the game right at that moment. I went back in using the return shrine, hoping i would land on a more perferable checkpoint and then poof! I WAS RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF STORM LOCK? Like no joke, right in the middle?
/so uh, i might have discovered some weird glitch not sure how to replicate it

@minor sparrow get all the winged light you can get in the 6 realms, then go into eden. also, wherever you are in eden, if you see this buttonmake sure you tap it! you don't have to stop for it to work, after tapping it you can move on.
personally i'd rather you go in as spoiler-free as possible for a more impactful first experience so i didn't say much, but if you would prefer more thorough advice for eden there are many youtube tutorials out there! (i would recommend bochan sky's eden vids for help as they are pretty helpful and the most spoiler-free i've seen)

but the stars on it with the fire GUI is gone
and now they can't access anywhere other than eden with the help of someone

Hey guys. I just died recently. After the flight before reaching the orbit, I remember something I read in Sky wiki about your sky kid that can "sing" with AURORA before reaching the orbit. I thought whenever I honked as I flew passed the spirits, it was only my honking tone changing. I tried pressing calls as the song played (with sky kid call, dunno what the name is), my sky kid sang as they flew. I almost cried it was beautiful
