@fickle fjord its not the number of times but rather how many stone child of light you save, which consequently gives you Eden candles to ascend friendships. To reach max level cape, we need to ascend all friendships with the Spirits.

for all the buffs:
as a moth and getting ~12-13 every run, i'd say about 6-7 times, you can basically count isle+prarie for 1, forest for 1, valley for 1, wasteland for 1, vault for 1, and 1-2 extra weeks/runs depending on your actual yield of candles each week and the amount you use to ascend friendship with the spirits (like me who use 10 every week and save up the rest for other purposes such as ts and friends)

Got super lucky. Persuaded my bf to finally do eden with me, didn’t get hit by anything, no krill saw us. We got split up in the room with your light and we tried a server merge after loading into orbit and got it on our first try.

I went to eden, and when in the safe zone (crab cave), I just kept poofing out like I got hit by a krill when they were all outside (other players also experienced it) and the krill a could detect us even when we we hiding (I saw their body clipping in the ceiling) Is this normal?

Yes, if you save all 63 statues and still have winged lights left over, you just need to wait until you run out and get sent to Orbit
That's just the spot where you enter the area from the hallway in the first part of Eden, at the beginning of the statue part

once you’re in the dead room, spiral upwards and keep going, you will eventually pass the weird barrier

The spirits can be ascended once in orbit itself to buy wing buffs using ascended candles, and then you collect them as you leave orbit

There is a purpose to all the thing floating in orbit

So uhh, there's two things regarding spirits and Orbit.
Firstly, as you fly towards Orbit you pass by all the spirits, and if you go near them they do a little honk and you get a bit of candle wax. Candle wax mind you, has nothing to do with wing buffs.
Second, once you reach Orbit (when you are capeless) as you walk towards the giant light gate that takes you Home (rebirth) Spirits show up and give you the Wing Buffs. You get as many wing buffs as you bought from spirit trees. It's the 
icon with a little lock on it

All the bright flying people represent your friends, not wl. You can check that they don't give you wl but opening your emote bar and looking at the wl count (number of levels)

The spirits that you find in the realm and light up are floating around in orbit they will give one winged light to help in next life
The little blue orbs that you touch in orbit will give you candle wax and so will the flying chains of sky kids and your friends flying around five you heart juice

And if you don't honk as many spirits you won't collect as many winged light on the walkway cause those spirits that you didn't honk will not be there to hand you a winged light

Touching those spirits don’t give you the wing buffs. Ascending the spirits does.
In order to do that you have to reach the constellation stone in orbit and purchase the wing buffs from those spirits with the ascended candles.

Winged light is the stuff that levels up your cape, and wax is the currency that feeds into candles. Bonking into spirits and singular flying friends will give you a small amount of wax (you can get a max of 2 regular candles iirc)

Wing buffs, as I mentioned, you get once you already reach Orbit, and you go on your way to the big Light Gate to get reborn.
As you approach the Light Gate some spirits will show up. These are not the spirits you honked along the way. These are spirits that you bought the Wing Buff from, in their Spirit Tree. The little lock thing I mentioned.
As you walk towards the Light Gate all these ascended spirits give you a buff.
I see multiple people explained this lol

When you're able to restart your phone and the game, you'll probably need to use the return shrine to go back and it should probably put you in the end of the statue part so you can finish dying and be sent off to Orbit

so.. basically.. i have to distract the krill at area 3, since im planning to go with 7 of my friends it would be too crowded and we'll get spotted easily waa
- i will go to a place where : i can be spotted by the krill, where theres no big red rock, far away from the normal path (to the no point of return zone) and i cant get hit by the rocks
- i have to distract the krill by spamming playdead emote when it spots me, since it will only search for me for a few seconds, i will get spotted on purpose AGAIN right when it returns to the normal path.. the cycle continues and my friend can go to the no point of return zone safely, the only thing they need to worry about are rocks and red rocks
- my friends need to be fast enough, since i can only distract the krill 5 times (im gonna instantly get krilled at the 5th time..
- after they got inside safely, i will warp to one of my friend, and boom pogchamp we passed area 3

Lmao I got along with some few spooked veterans while going towards eden and didn't notice that even though I got first and waiting for them at the hallway, that I was the one targetted by the krill instead of them so I essentially took the bullet for them without knowing-
Since they were stuck at the last part before the hallway with many winged lights

Just check all places in eden. Literally die before entering a point of no return. I spent several times all my lights for capeless trick in eden. Eden doesn’t look dangerous anymore.

you can also find a friend whos willing to afk down at a save spot for you to warp down and try go up again XD
and flying in eden is much faster and safer in some ways since you can avoid all the krills and dang rocks (as long as you know what you doing XD)

Hi! Just here to tell you that is sometimes easier with a friend, tho in the point of giving your winged lights don’t hold hands, just stick together because you might start to get crashed by rocks. I personally prefer someone ubering me and no flying cheats. (Not saying it’s bad, but it doesn’t work for me)
Also, if you have more than 80 wl, you can risk loosing a pair of them, but if you’ve got less than 60 u better watch your step.

The rocks are not that much of an issue but learning to time the krill movement and range of vision is important.
After the first rock barrage area, there is no more wind, so we can actually fly up too

To those who encountered the wind barrier in sky - what I did was to restart the game, hug the kid again, and when I reached that light pillar - I just kept my finger on the flying button. Flapped and flapped for a long time, but it finally worked

Same for Orbit, staying together there depends on how separated you got on the flying part, but you could still appear all together. This examples out of experiences with no more than 1-2 friends, sadly

You can do it @willow stream!!! If a krill spots you try running behind a structure to avoid its sight, or spam faint emote until you lose its sight and goes away!
But also look into asking someone to make you company, going with a friend is very, very recommended for doing Eden your first times

That's a nice challenge, indeed! Then overcoming krill fear is a must for you, don't paralyse against them in Eden, try getting cover and avoid them with all the terrain, structures and rocks around you, there's always a way to avoid them sneakily
Also, the friend I pointed you out for you to go with to Eden was about you taking them, so they make you company and also recharge your cape!

Eden is from the flying rocks and hiking part, to the krills, and to the statues, past that is ascent where you fly with the mantas, whale and jelly fish. Orbit is where you can buy stuff and run around.
