So, I noticed two things in eden (and wasteland to some extent) One is that there are certain locations that count as safe boundaries where krill aren't allowed to look or go (message candles in wasteland) or even if they do look in that area, they can't detect sky kids.

In locations like that, it almost seems like certain object are transparent to that rule (typically walls will protect you no matter what) so krill can still see you unless you move to specific parts where that rule is active

I love Eden, I can't wait for Reset to go and die again. Every Sunday, I look at my significant other and say with a grin "ready to die today?"
The rush of avoiding rocks, krill and the rock rain, saving the kids, the cutscenes. All of it combined makes for an amazing weekly experience

Go do Eden with atleast a friend with warp unlocked from the friend tree. One of the participating players must dies first. Once the dead player is in the void, honk to see the living player's name to warp to them. (Make sure the living player hasn't lost their cape power to ensure warping)
The living player may do this as well once the dead layer has come back to Eden.
Note: This glitch does not work all the time and may cause to break the game by not getting reborn

@long storm Those roughly correlate to friendship level, ie how many interactions you’ve unlocked with them. I don’t recall for sure if that includes hearts gifted, someone else can probably confirm though. It should match with the number of little diamonds around their name in your friend constellation.

the first thing people usually do after eden (if they don't feel like bumming around with their friends or just chilling) is usually to go collect their winged light again, as well as start getting into candle runs -- that's the single-player task aspect of the game that persists
don't get too hung up on it though, because the real experience of the game is meeting and interacting with other players, whether it's helping each other to complete tasks or just getting up to whatever antics you can think of

Each travelling spirit requires 2 AC to unlock their wing buff. So keep that in mind when stashing AC away for future use

There are statues after the point of no return. They award 0.25 Ascended candles per statue. There are 63 statues. They reset each week at 00:00 PDT on Sunday. If you go in before reset, the statues you saved won't be there

Hold hands or piggyback. Splits shouldn't happen during stormlock though
Take it easy and slow. Be sure to have sound enabled, you can hear when the rocks start to fall or stop falling. Once you get the hang of it, go faster. Also it might be best to print the statue map pinned in this channel or have it handy on another device and reference to it while you are in a "safe zone" like the lit statues (the ones you light up)

Yes. If you go into the Eye (statues area) at around the same time as some strangers or friends, you have a chance of entering the same instance/server with them. You'll go through the Eye and reincarnate together
For the room where you hug the kid, it's an individual room but you can honk/call to see others who are in the same instance/server.

and every time you unlock a spirit with special candles, they give you an extra wing buff, that's how you get more wl?

the max amount of stars without buffs rn is 88, without going to eden and without buffs is 77
and yes, thats how you get more stars, by going to eden, get ascended candles by sacrificing your winged lights to the statues then buy wingbuffs, which will be added to your cape when rebirth
it is recommended to buy the buffs inside orbit, before rebirthing to receive them right away, instead of buying them at home then wait until you next go to orbit to get them

flying is faster, but it's not necessarily safer -- if you're trying to go for safety in the first part of eden, best way is to just jump down into the ravine, walk across and then climb back up using the rocks against the wall
if you want to speedrun it though, then yeah, gonna have to iron out the flying

meea was saying that it feels like a wind wall is pushing them downwards when they try to do the flying shortcut, i've felt something similar as well
the impression i got was that i wasn't supposed to directly gain height, but to use the wind somehow (that part, i haven't figured out)

Wing buffs are extra winged lights that you can get by purchasing them from the spirits using the ascended candles you get from Eden
Regular spirits are what people call the spirits that can be found in the 6 realms as part of their constellations (Isle-Vault)
Traveling spirits are spirits from past seasons that come back from time to time so people can get items from them that they may have missed before

If you purchase the wing buffs in Orbit (the blue starry place at the end), then they will be added to your cape right away when you're reborn. If you purchase them in the home space, then they won't be added to your cape until you go through Eden and are reborn again

You can lose them temporarily if you lose too much winged light in the realms, but you can always get the back in orbit

You can lose them if you get hit by a krill or stand in the rain too long or whatever. They are only permanent in the sense that you will always get back the ones you have purchased when you complete Eden and are reborn (so you will always start out your rebirth with however many wing buffs you have purchased)

And traveling spirits is the term used for spirits from past seasons that can come back again currently. Seasonal spirits just refers to spirits that are part of seasons, so like the current ones from Sanctuary as well
All traveling spirits are seasonal spirits, but not all seasonal spirits are in the current pool of traveling spirits

@teal estuary @supple lark I think they will regenerate at midnight PDT even if you've already gone into the area, but I'm not 100% sure. So I think you could wait until it resets and then go back, but you would still be stormlocked until then so you wouldn't be able to go anywhere else for the rest of today
Also yes Kana, you will have to re-collect the winged lights from the realms every time if you want them all back

i think i get how warping to a friend in eden works now: you can only warp to someone who's not extinguished

i then proceeded to discover that trying to warp to each other's dark rooms after you've relit yourself results in the immortality glitch

it solely depends on every player, but if you’re going with friends, you may split

Going in a day or two after reset or at a time when most of the world isnt awake helps.

lag-wise, i was fine running it about 3-15 minutes after the reset -- it was the stun locks that were annoying
