To add more: heat transfer usually happens faster when things move more. When things move less (for example, when they're very cold, transfer happens less often. This also explains why when you're deep in Eden, the water harms you less - it's not pulling heat away as quickly. Warm lights change this by being warm, so they still get their heat drained fast

alright, to get into the elder room you'll need to place a table in the temple. a friend gets on, and offers a hand. you, the owner of the table, press and move it around as you sit for the cutscene. you can let go of the table once you see their hand offered inside the cutscene. this will leave your friend in the elder room for you to warp to. if you don't go home, re join and warp you'll be separated though (as only one of u saw the cutscene). if you warp before going home either you or your friend may go home and re-join. doing this you can see two versions of the elder (lit and dark), depending on weather you warp before going home or not

use just one table to make sure you're all going to the same space if you are too many for one table: have someone attach to a sitting person before the sitting one offers their hand to someone

I'm not sure how to get oob once the doors close, but if you're having trouble putting a table thru the crack to get oob, there's another way too

to the left(?) of the crack where ppl put the table, there's another crack that u can just jump through

just spam jump at it a few times. funnily enough eden oob is one of the few where u dont need any equipment at all

We get through, and I'm surprised that they lived as long as I did despite this being their first Eden!

Turns out they didn't actually know that you're supposed to give your light back to the statues, got scared when the first three took light, and proceeded to simply follow me through Eden until we both died.

I felt so bad, they'd been playing longer than me, I thought for sure they knew

My first eden I never even made it to the second area

After you run out of light and turn into a statue, you’re respawned at the start of the area

Instead of moving on to the cutscene

You spawn in your lightless state with the sluggish walk and you have to traverse a considerable distance before the game flips a coin to let you die or make you do this again

death loop would still occur if you have multiple players in the server and not all of them died yet... from experience this is what happens now. they fixed death loop for individual players and those who all died together I believe.

Last time me and the other player were very adamant

They had to leave before I was able to break out of it

Dunno if they got their candles or not

I tried everything to see if I could end the loop. I tried walking to the statues. I tried dying on the rain. I tried being warmed up in the light to die again. I tried an instant recharge potion. I tried walking into a red cluster. I tried surviving until the other person and I died together. I even used a rainbow spell cause it was hilarious

So yeah, far more times than just 5

idk if i should post this here but a skykid waited for me in the first area, beeped a lot to let me know they were still there, and then we got to the second area and i waited and beeped for them, and in the last bit we said our goodbyes after taking a nice calm walk down the hallway collecting stars, added eachother and went our separate ways (they only needed to go for the stars)
i just thought it was very wholesome and sweet

well. this was an experience! it is my first eden full run, as my past tries with friends ended up with me getting krilled too soon, and i never expected my first run to be a solo one! well i def couldve did better as i only got 10 candles, but it was a great experience! ^^

a very late reply, but recently a friend taught me to take out your instrument when you get spotted to avoid attacks
i think it works only with instruments that make you sit in one place (piano, guitar) and not with those you can move around with? (harp, bell?)
i'm not sure if this is 100% correct

@quasi thistle I always feel bad helping people through Eden and they don't know they're going to die and you turn into a blue light and just watch them panick

@snow crag you can fly together throughout the whole thing till you die and then you can meet up while you're flying through the cutscene place. Once you're heading towards the light you can hold hands

I finished an Eden run with a few Moths. Two of them were a pair and went ahead to Orbit without us after we all finished the Eye together, but this one stayed with me the whole time. I took them to the heart shrine and we walked out of Orbit at the same time but ended up in different servers. I might never see them again, but I’m glad to have accompanied them all during their first trip in Eden. My heart is full.
