I went to Eden with one of my friends, and shortly after they lost their light I had lost mine as well. But what happened was I got stuck in this loop with two other players I didn’t know and found myself coming “back to life” a couple of times even though I was already a spirit. But you can still lose those to krill or water for ex.

Then you'll get them back on next eden run

How many spirits you can ascend in orbit depends on how many ascended candles you get in Eden, and that depends on how many statues you save. If you go twice in the same week there will be less statues the second time because the ones you've already saved will be gone
