Honestly you eventually get all the hearts and ascended candles you need. Traveling spirits however make the grind for regular candles never ending. I’ve got 112 hearts and 40ish ascended candles... but not enough regular candles for the current traveling spirit!

I go in with 120+ now, but before that was possible, I would try to have 100+

best chance to get all of them and also have less stress

Considering that you probably lit easiest statues - rest will be in continuous rain zone, so it's better have more wl. Those statues that you lit last time wont show.

With around 100 - 110 wl you can lit all statues in one go. But if you go 2 times - you need less total wl as you do not spend wl on the statues lit already and you can go straight to those left. You need 24 wl minimum just to lit everything remaining. So probably 50 to 60 should be enough to do it comfortably.

Its better to buy those in the end of eden. Every such one equals one winglight. I. E. Its same as shiny bois collected and it kind of permanently increases your cape power.

So if you buy one in eden - you'll start your new life with one plus cape power.

Think of wing buffs as the stars you find in the realms, but a few differences:

1. They can only be lost after you have lost all the stars you collected in the realms
2. Once they are lost, they can only be reobtained from orbit
3. They can only be bought from spirits (each spirit will only offer 1 wing buff regardless of the amount of ascended candles you bought it for with the exception of the cry and wave spirits who have 2 wing buffs available for you to buy)

For me I'd say moth -> eden -> memorize candle/wing light locations (n/a to everyone) -> uber (optional) -> unlocking cosmetics -> 10 wedges. Usually after 10 wedges, the ac starts piling up and they frequent eden less and less. This evolution is more simplified and generalized. Some players drop out in each step.

Not a lot of challenges in the game I don't think.

It's more about socializing and unlocking as many things as you can afterwards

I think memorizing is quite applicable actually - you do not get a lot of cosmetics or wedges the other way except for money.

If you are looking for the wax for standard candles instead, then these waxes are reset everyday. The maximum number of ascended candles you can get in your first Eden run is 13.
