Okay, for real now. Is there a way to ascend with a friend?
We’ve made five attempts now, and today was the only time we managed to connect as shiny silhouettes, and fly up through the castle holding hand... After which I (I was leading) ascended into Orbit alone, and my friend was stuck in space and couldn’t ascend at all. They had to jump Home, and return through the portal. Only after that were they able to get to Orbit, and we were, of course, separated.
On our previous attempt we died together, were separated, but some rando was in Orbit with me. This is extremely frustrating.

And not 100% sure, but i saw winged child, while flying up in dark room part, after getting cape back, move few steps forward, move your camera 180 degrees, so you will see yourself from the front, and fly up, there is light like from the child (or sun?), standing in a small cave, like in Caves part in prairie

I have to unlock the wing thing for every spirit?

Just to add - you can also unlock wing buffs from travelling spirits. In fact it's how you get to 10 wedges
It's worth keeping 2 AC for the TS week( however TS stays a few hours after Sunday eden reset)
Also you can unlock friendship tree with AC - those unlocks do not count as wing buffs, even though they have the same pictogram

When you lose all of it in Eden, you can run re-get them

Only at the very beginning of the journey there is a small gap where you are supposed to jump. But i couldn't make it happen and also fail to understand the wind pattern. So used flight mode there. That's the only time i used. After that part flying is really difficult to manage.

at the three krill area
walking path: there little hidey holes amongt the grates in the metal to hide from the krill, you walk around the pipe, take the L path, go through the pipe and ascend to area three
flying: at the base of stairs (this is just outside of the first krills vision), you fly up to a ledge (this takes 3 or 4 flaps so be careful) and from there you can do about two flaps to get into the pipe, recharge at the lantern, and them go out the hole (krill permitting lol) and ascend to area three

lol so games have colliders to determine how objects interactions behave, so either you can have a catch all collider like a huge box with a particle animation baked into it or you can have individual colliders that are positioned over each rock. i ll shut up now

What are wing buffs?
When you “ascend” a spirit, you purchase it’s wing buff. A wing buff is the node in a spirit tree that looks like a lock with wings, as seen in the pic blow this post. They cost ascended candles, which you get from running Eden.
What do they do?
Wing buffs act like winged light, but instead of needing to collect them like in the regular realms, they’re given to you right before going through the rebirth portal in orbit. This means instead of being reborn with just 1 winged light and cape wedge, you can have multiple without needing to collect any winged light to begin with.
How many wing buffs can I get?
Currently there are 39 base-game (non traveling spirit) wing buffs. There are 37 base-game spirits though, each offers 1 wing buff, but 2 (prairie wave and forest cry) offer 2 wing buffs in their trees, making the total 39.
How many cape wedges/stars can I get without buying wing buffs?
Currently there are 79 collectible winged light, and one from the end credits, so the absolute max without wing buffs is 80 winged light. That means you’re at the 8 wedge tier. You won’t be able to get any more cape wedges without ascending spirits.
I ascended all the base-game spirits, but some people still have more wing buffs then me, how?
Outside of the base-game spirits, traveling spirits offer wing buffs as well. It’ll cost 2 ascended candles, and once bought, you have it permanently just like the regular spirits. Keep in mind that if you completed a traveling spirit in their original season, you’ll still need to buy the wing buff they offer once they return.
The following pic is what a wing buff looks like in a spirit tree. No matter the cost, every single node like this only counts as one winged light.

Tbh for me the only time warp has come in handy in Eden is if my or a friend’s game crashes. When the one who crashed gets back on we’ll probably still be in the same instance but the crashed player will usually be put really far back in the map, so then we just warp to each other
Anywhere else in Eden it doesn’t serve a practical purpose imo, cause you’ll probably just be holding hands with a friend anyways with no need to warp to them
