I just led a moth through Eden where they could still turn back, aka up to the no return part, and I'm proud to say they didn't lose a single winged light (I don't know about those following us that weren't holding hands with me tho.) took a while but no damages

How many ascended candles is it possible to get if supposedly one were to get all the statues? Like is it a set ratio (like idk, an ascended candle for every 3 statues) or is it randomised?

Well, it does help you survive longer and get more statues

one statue equals a fourth of an ascended candle

but if you know the way, 75 can still get you like 12 out of the 15.75 max ascended candles

so stockpiling more does help but its a slight waste of time imo

so losing winged light along the way is inevitable during the final area

you'd need more than 63 if you want all of them

So I got really lucky

But don't anticipate being so lucky when I play through for real 😛

I would say timing is key. The last time I went in I didnt get noticed by any krill just because i went early (which i usually seem to get the attention of)

I'm finding timing is essential in GW; that I'm taking my time a lot to find the right moment

First, I watched a Youtube playthrough of the level by nastymould. She talks through it and plays in real-time, and that helped me feel more comfortable with the layout of the level

And I saw it was about timing, so I didn't have to race through. I could take my time, find safe spaces, and work from those

!! for the first area: i spent a pretty long time figuring this one out but-

when you get to the point where you see a little gap in two wedges on slope (or when you first enter the sort of "clearing" between the walls) do your first initial flap, at the apex of your ascent- switch the second fly mode and keep flapping like a maniac

angling my camera up really helped me a ton and swiping up a whole ton each flap got me to a good height

occasionally i'll be at a height were i can just glide into the the building, but sometimes letting the wind take you helps too when you get pushed back into the rocks.

Nimm: You get the star when the credits start playing after you've gone through the portal to go back home as long as you don't immediately skip the credits--a sound effect of a star being collected will play, and you can skip after that.

You’ll need a friend.

Can you access Warp with them?

The steps are as follows:

Grab a friend and die off before them, if it helps, I died very close to the Diamond.
Go into the void, approach the child, hug them, turn into light.
Then, have your friend die. As far as I know, it works with your friend being alive or dead.
You should be able to accidentally teleport yourself out to the statues again, now covered in light, invincible to the falling rocks.

To escape this, all you need to do is Warp to your friend again.

It lets you wander around freely around the falling rock area, pretty unaffected by the wind.

Also on that ramp on the left, if you look to the left you can see some poles made of the same stuff as the ramp? I'm not sure what those are about, might just be aesthetic
investigated these today and they're literally just columns made of stars, you can walk right through them

also im convinced its impossible to die in orbit simply because it's impossible to bonk into anything hard enough to damage yourself

because what is there to bonk into

i did however make my flame go out on the flight up to orbit, but was unable to damage myself further because i couldn't get airborne to repeat the bonking process

death via bonking in general seems difficult

if you look up while in orbit you can see the constellation from the credits
