I have a small question just passed through eden for the 1st time and I was wondering what's the ratio of kids saved to the number of ascendant candles you get ! I got 9 candles at the end but I feel like I saved more than 9 kids...

Essentially here is what happens:

1. You start off with no wing buffs, and the only wings you have are winged lights, which you collect throughout the realms.
2. The first time you go through eden, you can buy a few wing buffs, and you'll be reborn with that many wing buffs because you lose all your collected winged lights when you die.
3. You need to go through the realms and collect the winged lights again, and the wing buffs you bought act as extra wings so you can have even more.

However, i went with a friend and it was much more difficult.

When I went with a friend, I was slashed by a bright yellow light and lost all my light instantly but that didn't happen the first time(no specific location, it happened randomly). What was that and how do I avoid it?

my first time in Eden, I fell off things, got hit by rocks, and saw a krill and then I noped out and didn't go back for 2 weeks

I only went back to Eden after reading and watching as much as I could about it (without watching the ending)

i was so angry after my first run when i didnt know anything (,: i was determined to have clean eden runs

might start asking my riders how they rate my uber djdjdj give me a better idea of what i need to improve

it depends!

my confidence started to go up when i stopped getting krilled in the last area

then i felt comfortable enough to optionally take people through after a few good solo runs

im still learning but its a lot of trusting yourself, listening, and memorizing where things are
