Im trying to document all the area to start a run at 100 wings or so

I think at that part i was passing by an area with a perpetual storm of rock, unlike the areas before it where you would wait for the barrage of rocks to halt momentarily before proceeding

I would guess those are statues #50/51 in the above map, since it looks like there’s an unlit mother lantern a bit in front of the two lights— could also be #s 42/43, based on relative angles

@outer oyster being smaller makes it easier to avoid the pattern of flying rocks leading up to the endless rain area. but once you reach the endless rain its all the same difficulty

@heady forge based on the way youre facing you want to head behind you and then right. You need to go to the open area

make sure youve gotten all the statues scattered where the rock shelters are first

being small gives you a slight advantage getting to the endless storm but once there, no height has advantage i think

maybe in the rocky area if theres small hiding rock areas being small is better but overall its equal playing field in endless

When you use ascended candles to ascend spirits then yes you i crease the number of Winged lights that you get. I have read that you currently are maxed out when you have 10 wing flaps.

Yes but you will not lose it permanently. Every time you get to the spirit constellation where you can ascend spirits and go through the gate to be reborn then you will always get back the Winged light that you have unlocked by ascending spirits.

Don't worry first time eden was worth it your trade of death with your light. You don't die and receive nothing, instead you'll be rewarded ascended candle that is helpful in unlocking more cosmetic/friendship ability.

I have one question: first time i finish the Eden i got 7 ascendant candles, and in the orbit I used 6 to get more winged light in my next life (I was reborn with 6/10 winged lights). Second time I finished Eden i got 4 ascendant candles, I used 3, and I was reborn with the same 6/10 winged lights. I am not sure of how it works... I though they were a cumulative :(

Basically, the community has more or less decided on these definitions:
Winged light: the glowing yellow children that you collect to give yourself wing power
Wedges: the pieces that form a half circle on the top of your screen and indicate how many flaps you can have
Wing buffs: the wing lock symbols from spirits. These act similarly as winged light to give you wing power, but are automatically applied to you after leaving Eden and are permanent

if you're going for a single run

I recommend at least 80 to be safe

that should get you pretty far
