I’ve ran eden several times now, yes you have to lose your wings

however your goal is to ascend your spirits so that they’ll give you wings buffs when you rebirth, eg, when you do your first run you will only have one star. Me, i have all the wing buffs so i start with 6 wedges on my cape instead

Although actually, saying that, I get confused a little in the statues over where I’ve been and where I haven’t been when I’m with people. I don’t concentrate so hard on hitting all the marks.

@blazing juniper it’s 6 wedges max to be reborn with bc with all the wing buffs + the 1 behind the eden reborn door, the 40 stars you would start out with only total to 6 wedges worth. It’s not possible for you to start off with any wedges more than that, considering In order to start off with 7wedges is 55 stars (a 15star difference) which isn’t possible to attain through constellation or eden.

If they add in new regular spirits to ascend then you may be closer to a potential 7wedge reborn but for now, 6 wedges is the allowed max reborn

Ahhh it was fun reading @bright roost 's Eden history album! ☺️
As I've mentioned 9999x already, I came around at the last days of the so-called Aviary, so the first version of Eden I know of is the one with the big shelters and staircase at the end. Of the like 5 times I went to Eden (called Storm) back in the day, I survived only 1 run, and got a total of 5 flight bars. Also, iirc the farther in you get, the stronger the wind and hailstorm gets, so the last rocky wind area just ends and suddenly you find yourself taking cover at big shelters. There was no transition between the last rocky wind area and the hailstorm.

"Shields" on emotes was changed into "wing blessings" at some point (I only know of the wing blessings). Also, on the "wing blessings" era, losing emotes doesn't mean you can't use them- you just have to retrieve it again to get a wing symbol on it (the wing blessing) then BAM more flight bars yay.

And I have (accidentally) preserved the existence of "star offering shrines" on a comic over at #completed-sky-fanart-and-creations .

@hazy dagger so to unlock more wing lights you have to ascend the spirits. Basically unlock more stuff in the spirit trees while in orbit (spacey starry place after setting the stone kids free in Eden)

It’s harsh the first time. I totally agree.

So you give your light to the stone kids in the red rock fall area- then die- you go to space and there is a constellation stone you can use to buy from the spirits and unlock more of their shop trees.

Went to check Eden for extra wings and for some reason dark dragon came from behind without warning and attacked straight away. Never happened before anywhere. Lost three wings but that’s okay. The problem is I got stuck. Is Eden designed so you have to use teleport home if you get flown out of reach?

I mean the place where is little water “pond”, krills in it, and fire on plain rock. Some rocky stairs and a better fire. Then through a hole and circling left while going up. Then it would be last area where rocks fly towards you. Got it?

@lyric turret Yup, I still don't know about that part, I never ended up down there and Idk how much far is it from the bottom area (where you can climb up)
It's probably too far away.

I remember falling near the last krill (and if I'm not mistaken, it should be at the end of your area), both rocks and the krill got me and I ended up in a dark place without light and jumping did nothing. When my friend came to my rescue, thanks to our candles I noticed a tiny rock stairs.
Another player ended up in my situation but I couldn't reach her, she got too far and it was too dark to clearly see the path

There could be ways to climb back up but it's too dark or it could be a bug (like a wind barrier missing etc)

For those using fainting with dragons, I keep hitting it because I read you need to. Also, if some one near you gets caught you still will lose wing light even if you are playing dead. I’m bad at hiding so fainting works better for me.

You can’t lose stars during your flight path to orbit but you can lose the light temporarily. But even then you’re surrounded by clouds so it’s easily replenished

@outer oyster id say average or a little under is best. If you’re a full-on chibi there’s lots of little holes you can get stuck or blown away, but if you’re super tall you can get hit in the face with rocks even behind hiding places because you’re too tall to hide properly
