i personally find it to be easier, cause you don’t get hit that much (easy to hide, no limbs are sticking out of your hiding spot lmao)
tho there is a problem with making that one annoying jump before the first star, it can take a lot of time

And yeah, that jump coupled with the wind is hard enough with any other mask, haha

oh yeah once I did eden a second time in a row, before the reset and there was barely any statues left for me to light and in the cutscene when the fallen ones get up and join you in the sky, there was less flying up than whenI light up a lot of statues

and if you do eden and die without lighting anything then nothing happens in that part of the cutscene

but everything else stays the same

Another star that was moved (or is either a bug, cannot tell) is the one in Forest that was in the large tree trunk where you need to go up those stairs. Went to go pick it up after Eden reborn, and on the inside there was nothing except some space and then a wall (that wasn’t there before, there was a large space and then in the middle with grass was the wing)

Question: before the last most recent update 1 week ago, I had 115 stars (not including the last spirit that I had yet to ascend). After this update, I went to Eden most recently (ascended the last spirit needed) and as I looked for all the stars, I got 114. (And yes, that’s after taking the ones from Eden too.)
Is that the highest wing number one can now get? Because there was a change in isle where the one on the high right in that rocky place, is now in the new isle place after going through the cloudy path.
I had the last wing from that forest place that is now not open, alongside all the other wings in the forest area (And the 4 ones in the Sunny forest.)
Am I missing a wing, or is it just that one that was in the forest place that is now gone?

Apparently the only way to kill a capeless starkid is to go to Eden. It was instant once I got into the water in the last stretch.

Yeah, I also can’t die even if I sit in the rain or in the crab lair. Or even when getting hit by the flying rocks and red rocks in the first two areas in Eden.

It might only work if you go through the entire game without collecting a star rather than the glitch that some people said could occur in Orbit.

Of course I couldn’t burn spirits myself therefore can’t pass constellation gates without a cape.

But I could collect spirits along with someone else, as long as that it’s also their first time collecting said spirit.

Oh and I didn’t get the bonus wedge post-Eden.

The first time I ran Eden, it was surprisingly emotional for me. I got into the game not knowing what to expect so I just jumped in and enjoyed the music and the atmosphere and tried to piece together some sort of story. When I got to Eden and died I thought that was it I didn’t do it correctly and I had to start over. When the cutscene played and I hugged the kid and I flew up I honestly cried a little. I don’t know if it was the music or my investment but it really hit me hard. I don’t know what it was about it like there’s some message there that really hit home.

yes, the more of those statues you save, the more reward you get at the end. there's a fixed number of statues, and you can replay the level, but any you freed before will be missing. until weekly reset on sunday

Just keep pressing forward and give as many winged lights to the statues as possible

Eden gets easier the more you go as you memorize the location of many statues and know the length of the breaks between rock rain

Once you get to the constant rock rain, just run and get as many statues lit as possible

Those buffs are why people leave eden with wings!

Once you start Eden, you must finish it. In Eden one frees the frozen (stoned) souls. And then eventually gets hit enough, by the rain of red rocks, to get frozen (stoned) yourself. You must finish Eden to continue.. basically you start again... after dying

So if you left, simply return to Eden

I think that's just what happens at the end - eventually all you can do is walk through rocks and get obliterated

probably 75-90 minutes @ocean crypt if it’s your first time, but of course it varies ^^
