each time you spend your ascended candles on a spirit (which can unlock loads more cosmetics than before), your number of starting winged lights increases by one
so if you ascend 5 spirits, you start the game with 5 WL instead of none like normal
making you stronger and stronger on each eden run

yeah the number under your flight wedges is how many you'Ve collected, and you need 20 to be able to go through the barrier to enter the eye of eden, but i suggest you try to get as much as possible before going

If you can’t pick them up on time tho, they randomly respawn so you have to visit every star place you visited before the accident to find the stars you are missing. However, if you lost the stars you obtained from the ascended spirits, you can only get them back at Orbit

Because they capped the amount of ascended candles you’re allowed to collect in a week. This way, you have the full week to reach every statue if you wish, receiving a maximum of 15.75 ascended candles in a week.

I found a way to prevent that from happening when I’m in there and it’s simply by holding my kid to release a big call repeatedly. By concentrating on making the call, my kid doesn’t have the time to get knocked down and it makes walking around so much easier

Hide behind rocks, save as many souls as you can, then accept defeat

@dusty swan You’ll get used to the timing 👍 In general, I hide behind rocks and use that wait time to look for where to go next (spots with torches are the best choice). When I notice the rocks stop falling, I run to the spot I decided.
For the non-stopping part, I realized walking is better than jumping, you get knocked down less (but beware of the water areas, you walk slow there)
Another thing, take your time, no one is chasing you. Better wait another round of rain boulders than risking your stars

@outer oyster At Orbit there is a stone constellation (like the one you see at home). Go there and use it to summon spirits and unlock the wing buffs.
The wing buffs icon is the same as wing icon but with a lock on it and you need ascended candles (the red one) to purchase them

That bit is always the hardest for me, especially since I never take my chibi mask off(it’s best to just run as fast as you can when the krills not looking, works for me)

you don't need to stand by the star to pick it up,as soon as you press the collect button you can run away while it waits to be sent to you
when you reach the bottom of the large set of steps where the winged light is next to,if the krill spots you just run and spam jump as fast as you can to get to the top of the stairs and inside the small tunnel for cover

Didn’t make it before the krill returned, got knocked against the rocks by stones and spiked by a krill. I lost over 20 winged lights... ugh. Dropped from 8 wings to 6, I guess i’m not ready.
Found enough winged lights on Dawn and Daylight to get back to 7 wings.

@stone leaf to get past the archway, just time it with the rocks.
When they stop flying, run up the archway and find cover behind a broken pillar on the left (you'll spot it when you reach the top of the archway).
Then, wait again for the rocks to fly by. When they stop, reach the next broken pillar and repeat until you are near the huge rock with a red stone at the bottom
(the pillars you can use as cover seem little, but I tried them with 3 people and it worked)
Then wait for the rocks to stop and the krill to get to your right and RUN while jumping

And for anyone’s info, running is far better than jumping in the area of constant rainpours(?). Jumping while navigating has a way higher tendency to have rocks knocking you flat and that wastes your time getting back up and wing to save other children.

I’ve seen a bug report about having 7 wings lvl for the trip between Eden and Orbit but the player had 9 lvl.
I remember I always had 7lvl, it oesn’t matter the wing lvl I had while playing eden.
