One tip in the red hail is to walk, not skip, jump or try to fly. Just walk and aim toward those statues. You won’t get hit as often.

15. Everyone’s opinion differs, but running is better than jumping for us. Jumping makes it feel like the wind pushes you back a little ways.
16. Refer to the Eden map pinned in #eden-spoilers. You can choose not to, but it ultimately helps.
17. There are 2 parts for Section Three: the occasional rock rain part, and the continuous rock rain part.
Occasional rock rain part:
18. Go from cover to cover, and ALWAYS light the shrine before anything else. It provides something you can keep going back to.
19. Be patient.
20. If you have a friend with Warp, you can take turns getting the more tricky statues out in the open.
Continuous rain part
21. Deep call is a lifesaver here. Deep call replenishes your friend’s light about 2-3 wedges, and really helps minimise rock damage.
22. Run while deep calling. Using two-handed mode, use left hand to move forward and right hand to keep pressing on your character. This also reduces the chances of you getting knocked over.
23. If you are two people in Eden and one has all wing buffs already, you can help your friend by holding their hand and deep calling non-stop.
24. As of the update after the Season of Gratitude, the 38/39 Eden glitch that creates a safe zone no longer works.

@soft panther the best tip I can think of right now is to always have plan of where you’re going and where you’ll be going next, or at the very least, how you’ll get back. Also, always light any flames you can as a sort of safe spot. Just take it slow.

if so, i had assumed that the previously lit children (during the week) would..maybe stay lit?? or disappear....otherwise it would be entirely possible to continuously repeat eden without a weekly reset..?

okay, so there’s a certain number of children you can light, alright? this number is set and when you’ve lit them all, there’s nothing more until Sunday comes and it all reset, once a week. So for now you can go back and try to get the ones you missed the first time, but those you’ve already got you won’t be able to light them again and ascended get candles for them

you don’t have to follow it word for word! everyone has their different style, and this is the one that worked best for us.

Treat jumping like it's opening a sail, if you're backtracking on the first segment, you might want that push or find it negligible enough that you can keep momentum while skipping around the murky water. Sometimes you actually need it if you're very close to losing a star in the first segment and don't want the dark water to eat the rest of your light

if that's the case, do many little hops as you make your way to the closest light source

Just don't go overboard or you might stall in midair jumping against the wind or overshoot your target when jumping with the wind

Or... land on top of the rock you're supposed to hide behind
