Mike, actually you can light those beacons further up if you go in with a friend. You can keep each other’s lights going by long pressing yourself until you do the little jump beep. So even if both your lights are out, long beep and you’ll relight who you’re with and they can light up that beacon. A friend and I got almost to the statues in the water at the end, still lit up by constantly long beeping ourselves to charge the other. It was a fun experiment

I run eden twice a week

I can get around 10 candles for the first run but i'm like "how did I miss 5 candles worth of stone statues = 20 statues" when all i saw was the last 10 in the continous rain part. So i like to go through and see which i missed.

I went twice on Sunday. Once in morning which gave me 9 candles, then again in the evening which gave me another 5. Seven statues left in there somewhere. I usually get around 12 so don’t bother with a second run but this way did work out well in my favour. 🙂

Although that was a proper grind to get all the winged lights back just to lose them again immediately after. 😂

I fell for the trap (it really does feel like a trap) and bought the candles I needed to buy hearts from the spirits so I could get it there and then.

@vapid epoch Granny Pigeon is correct about there being 39 total, and you’re correct about the six wedges on rebirth! To answer your last question, you can go through eden all the way to the last star in the hallway, teleport home, and everything will be normal. But once you enter Storm (where the red rocks rain down), then you have to complete eden and rebirth or the other portals will be closed to you.

Nope! So you can go through the first parts of eden to help someone or gather the 10 stars on that level, and you’re fine. Just don’t go past the hallway with the torches and stars.

Having played beta for a while, I would actually suggest you finish anything in Live that you are close to finishing, rather than save up and wait. I'm saying this, because I know that sometimes new solutions/features are tested in beta and then implemented in Live, effectively pulling the rug under your feet. Not that I know of any drastic changes to Eden as of right now. But just as a general suggestion.

Yeah that doesn’t sound right. You went to Eden 8 times in a day? I once went in a second time on the same day because I didn’t understand the mechanics of reset, I thought it only applied while you were in stormlock (so you could go in and out all week to get them all if you wanted to), and if you died and went to orbit it would automatically reset and you could go again. Alas, no, my second trip was so bare. There were very few statues to light. I think I managed to get 4 candles on that run. Have you discovered a bug?

If you're going 8 times a day you're not being super efficient at it. Better to save as much wing power you can get and save as many kids as you can in one go.

How many regular candles are we able to score through the flight in orbit, I get 1.5 perhaps, and I do take my time and try to hit as many spirits and people and glowing lights as I can.. I don’t think it’s even possible that’s what they meant?

Hello. I have a question. I just went through Eden first time and have just one wing after rebirth. Is it normal?

after eden usually you lose all wings

but if you buy wing upgrades with ascended candles before rebirth then you will be having the ammount of upgrades you bought

so you probably purchased one of the upgrades with the ascended cancdles and now you have 1 extra

you can go again to collect them all again for another eden run ^^'

2. in the three krill area, I get spotted by a krill i thought passed (but its fine)

4. I try going up the steps, get spotted by the last krill and i lose 2 stars

I did find one star in the hall, but I'll never know if it was really there or if it was just one i lost while going up there

Each spirit that you ascend (turn gold) will basically level up your wing cape so that the next time your reborn you can build a higher rank/wing capacity

After you've done it a few times you get into a route routine for star collection. Same as for wax farming. It's tedious but it works.

i’m pretty sure each unlock with the ascended candle is equal to 1 wing buff. Which gives you a total of 39 extra stars. 69 + 39 = 108 stars total

There are 37 spirits in the game, 2 of the spirit have a 3rd tier to unlock. So that's 37+2. So you can get a max 39 extra stars

Which equals to 6 wedges on your cape

If you didn't buy the buffs in Eden but waited till after rebirth you won't get the benefit of additional permanent stars till you next run Eden. Buy while still in orbit in Eden
