There’s a pattern to the krill and hiding spots where they can’t see you along the way. Once you get used to it you can get through that area without being hit at all. Or spam the play dead emote if you need to but that probably won’t be good to rely in since I imagine it will be patched out

You can use some strategy in the part with the constant rain. If you're with friends, if you call or deep call as you run together, you can keep each other charged for a little longer. When you get knocked down, tap on yourself to call to get up faster.

During my first run I had randoms that ran infront of me so i quickly knew what's up with the rocks in stage one. Stage 2 i was kinda lost and spent at least 5 stars trying to find my way, and only managed when someone called and I saw their star. Stage 3 was... lol. Just had a pretty decent run. 12 ascended candles. I missed about 15ish statues. But I utilised the torches this time. Lighting every one I could get to most importantly, then going for the statues. Really pleased with myself! 😊
I usually have a “run for it” approach and get between 9-10 candles so this definitely helped a little.

mostly go from torch to torch until then. being slow and as thorough as i can reasonably get just by sight. I usually only need to do two or three runs a week to be pretty confident i got all of the statues.

For the first set of Krill there are! In the tubes on the right of the staircase tower! Which, you will go up to progress to the next section.

When I was trying to get into the cave where all of the star children are, I was hit multiple times with @onyx tusk . We continuously had to run to the first cover stone, only to get knocked down again.
Then the Krill was on our backs for most of the time.
And I believe this was on our first run.. Or maybe second. I've honestly lost track.

It kinda follows a pattern though and you can sort of avoid it but at the same time if you get spotted even once your kind of screwed unless you are close to the tunnel

I had to make a run for it once because it decided to glitch around to glaze over the wall.
I always think the Krill are glitching because of how their bodies move once they've made a turn.

Yes.. I avoided Wasteland until my friend decided to join Sky. I feel like you're definitely better off by yourself, but at the same time it's reassuring to see someone struggling like you are in the distance.

I hated the Wasteland at first. Now it’s fun and although I don’t hate Eden, I don’t like it because it’s really boring doing the exact same thing with no exploring once you know it inside and out
I do enjoy seeing people who haven’t done it before though, helping is fun and it’s like a bonding experience. There are also some great out of bounds areas in Eden but that’s not really relating to intended content .

that's why you need spirits from other areas
the gates weren't there originally in beta before Live launch
I think the idea is that new players are guided through their first playthrough, so that they can come back and explore more on consecutive runs
or you can interpret it as TGC not trusting the players to take care of themselves and find out things on their own 😉
(many of us have asked that the gates be removed once you've opened up the whole world, because they break the flow)
