A group of friends and I were finally able to get in through the Eden portal. (minus one, he kept crashing) We decide to go in pairs of two due to the strong currents and rocks. We get to just about the part where there’s a half circle opening, where you have to wait for a krill to pass by before you go on out and circle the little mountain or pipe. Usually you’ll be safe while waiting inside but this krill was out for the kill I tell you. This dude somehow glitched through the wall seeing us and knocked us back from within our hiding hole. We called hacks. I don’t think this is a reoccurring bug to report so meh funny.

I've heard people say that when they stand by the wall to the opening, the krill can sometimes move past close enough to knock you off through the wall.

Hey everyone, I just completed my first Eden run and it was intense! I’m a bit confused about the whole ascending spirits and buying wing buffs thing... is that something you’ve got to do inside still? Or afterwards?

You’ve got to do it inside in order to get the buffs when you’re reborn!
But also if you give ascended candles to any spirit not in Eden, they’ll be there to buff you when you get reborn the next time

Welll... if you play for a long time everyday, there is a chance you can still get one or two seasonal cosmetics. If you have the pass, things would also be much easier
Buying stuff from the shop only requires normal candles and hearts, which is, in my opinion, no rush whatsoever. But keep in mind there are only 37 spirits available to buy hearts from (one each)

There's not much to grab now. If you see something low down and think you can grab it you could go for that (but remember that some items are pass only, that being most of the cosmetics), but at this point it might just want to let your seasonal candles turn into normal ones when the season ends.

It has gotten a lot better! Though there are still issues, the connection in Eden is way more stable than it was a bit before release.

I was amazed my friend and I didn’t get separated ever, not while lighting the statues and even after. We died almost in the same spot within a second of each other and walked through the light back into home holding hands, that looked so pretty! Wish I’d taken a picture. ❤️

If you don’t light a certain pair of statues, the next time you go in, the rocks and red rain are greyed out and don’t affect you for almost a minute meaning you can run around unharmed for a little bit. If you search you might find out which ones 👆

@muted jewel I had to delete the game and download again so i can play eden with friends. That's the only way i got it to work. I could do eden with friends in the ipad. But for some reason in phone, when we go into eden portal we would get separated. I fix the issue by deleting game and download again. But if you or your friend do that. Make sure to have account set up with the game center. So progress will b saved.

It would be rare to start Eden with a completely empty star candle container, so that may account for the other .25. I got everything and it came to ... 15.75. I haven’t done an Eden run in the latest beta version.

38, 39. Go home, back to Eden and run-jump to zone 3 (it's not far) and you should be good. If you start when it fades up from black you should make it with your flame lit still.

For some reason, Eden doesn’t seem as stressful to me as GW. or rather, the stress is worth it for the end goal. I’m happy to go into Eden solo and do it, but I hate doing GW and would rather get dragged through it by someone else on a daily basis for candles and seasonal quests. 😂

It’s ok. You just do the best you can. The first two times I did it I just went for it. No strategy and no returning home to recharge. You get candles and you get experience to do it better the next time. 👍

I think I saw a video that says if you call out when you get hit you can get up faster, you don’t get stunned as bad. Don’t know whether that works or not, and I always forget to try it in the moment

It works @gray geode and if you’re not slow about it, it’s worth it. Bc if you’re in the endless storm area, every sec kinda counts and in my own experience if I take my sweet time getting up I keep getting hit by rocks. I rapid tap myself while keeping the movement pad in motion so once I get up I just go. If I didnt tap it takes me like 1-2sec to get up fully, with tapping probably 0.5sec.

Oh. Yeah. You spam the pretend death / falling down emote to evade krill.
You have to tap it repeatedly though, and it doesn’t work if you’re holding someone’s hand, as they don’t actually do the emote themselves, so the krill stays targeting them. (They do the animation, but the game doesn’t recognize them as doing the emote.)
I learned the last bit the hard way :)

See that’s the funny thing. I assumed the whole reset thing applied only if you were locked in, so you could re-enter as many times as you wanted/needed until you died and were reborn. Therefore, I went and tried to do Eden twice in one day assuming after I died it would all be back in place for another go. Safe to say it was virtually empty on my second run that day. 😂🤦♀️

I did lose quite a few wings along the way but tbh that made me less fearful I guess
I did go through a really large chunk of the second part without any flight power whatsoever (I was literally a grey ghost actually) but it was actually more manageable that way ^^;

It’s so hard to not lose any light, especially your first few runs. You learn where you can bypass the krill and hide, but especially where you can occasionally fly. It takes a few runs solo to get used to, but I guess I had to learn earlier! I wish I would’ve went with friends my first run.

I've never actually flown unless I had to jump away from the krill. The wind makes it hard to go where you want to be

There's a trick to stop the rain falling. I can do all statues in one go usually.
Give light to the two statues on the far right in the section where the rocks constantly fall then go home. Go back to Eden and run towards the diamond and the rocks should stop.
