If I understand your question, if you want the bonus wings you need to ascend spirits before being reborn

You can buy them in Eden which means you get them right away, or in Home after rebirth. When you buy in Hone, they aren't awarded to you until your next trip through Eden.
So it's better to buy them while you're still in Eden.

Eden lock only happens once you enter the hail area.
That means once you're in that area, even if you teleport Home, you will need to re-enter Eden and complete the level. Otherwise Home will look broken to you.
If you teleport Home before the hailstorm, Home will look normal.

Does anyone know why I cannot find a single statue in Eden? I tested this several times: Three times in a row I have not seen a single statue. But the players are next to me - they saw statues and gave them stars. And since I did not find a single statue - I didn’t have any rewarding at all! The fourth time I found a lot of statues and got a little rewind. And now again - twice in a row I go through Eden and not a single statue. I can’t understand: is it a bug or a feature? Maybe it's because I have too many stars on my cloak? I just get to the end and sadly die there. Very sad.
My personal drama: "Go and die alone". Also, if you exit the hub in the middle of the final part and then return, then the red stones may stop falling. Is this for sure a bug? 😉 But I walked among Eden. A very long walk 😃

I really hate Eden, and Storm especially. So much so that this whole week it never hit me until a bit ago I had enough wing buffs to have 9 cape since Tuesday when I finished clearing Storm of Fallen, if I fetched all the stars in Eden. So to Eden I went, planning on teleporting Home just before Storm and after getting all the stars. The star outside the hallway door, the last possible place things could go wrong, I got the light knocked out of me and lost a star. Because some are wing buffs rather than being stars in the world, I can't get 9 stars now until next week, right? 🥵 I mean, I presume that you 1st lose wing buff stars? Or is it truly random and maybe it was one of the world stars I could find again?

I just know folks hit Eden 1st-thing again after clearing Fallen, just for the stars there to have the cape from them during the rest of the week.
Right now with my wing buffs, I only get 9 by collecting all the Eden ones.
Because, I unlocked a few that took more Ascended Candles when I was still blind to how buffs work, which put me behind many others who went with all the cheapest 1st.
To me, a longer time in Storm is worth having extra cape the majority of the week 🙂

You don’t have to go through Eden every week, if you don’t want to. The game isn’t linear that way.
Going there is only important if you want to get permanent wing power and/or unlock higher levels for ancestors and friends.

Hey, tip for that jump in the very first area: don’t just jump. Move forward then back to check your movement speed, and try to get it when you’re fastest. The window is actually really generous, it’s just that people seem to get impatient and spam jump. It works, but like it isn’t that bad

For the jump in the first area, it's actually the wind that pushes you back. Wait a little and jump across only when your skykid lifts his/her head up. When his/her head is down, the wind is strong and you move slowly. I've never failed that jump for a long time now

The first time I went through Eden, we had a guide of sorts that me and my friend dubbed "Firework Man" because he kept shooting off fireworks to light Eden up since it's so dark. I did Eden alone for the first time yesterday going fairly quickly and I didn't get hit by anything along the way. My only thought the whole time was "I'm gonna live up to that legacy and help people through this one day". Until I'm ready for that though, I've been going back to the beginning and helping new Sky players find Stars so they're not struggling too bad by Hidden Forest, because my first time through I had a hard time there.

Giving your winged light to the statues gives you “ascended” candles (the red candles with the star in the middle. The more statues you “save” the more candles you get
Giving said candles to the ancestor spirits will turn them from blue to golden, and when you finish Eden any golden spirits will give you one extra winged light.

The Eye of Eden is where you’re giving light to all the statues, at which point you’re supposed to get to as many statues as you can before you die, then you get ascended candles depending on how many statues you saved.

@rigid trellis if you friend someone by sending them a qr, then the chat ability will automatically be unlocked. But if you friend someone in-game (like by offering a candle), then you have to unlock the chat ability via the friend skill tree thing

The last part before the hallway has a very specific pattern. If you follow it you will never get hit by the rocks or the krill.

Just did an eden run with a couple of strangers and it was honestly such a blast, ended up friending one of them and turns out neither of us speak the same language so we ended up communicating with expressions and hugs

@undone dragon there are two broken pillars / outcroppings. The furthest one is the last place you can stand where the krill never sees and the rocks don’t get you. Wait for him to pass left to right, then circle back around passing from right to left. As soon as his search light hits the huge rock with the lamp and the red rocks in front of you move the next time the rocks stop. Don’t light the lamp though, stay on the backside of the huge rock because the krill immediately circles back and scans that area. Once he does the next time the rocks stop move directly to the hallway. Works 100% of the time, no muss no fuss. Do not stop to get the star child just outside the hallway - it’s a trap.

There’s a similar strategy for the pipes. Move to the base, stand to the left of the stairs. Soon as the krill starts to pass you move up the stairs. Stop under the overhanging platform partway up. Right about then the same krill will be coming back over the top. As soon as he starts to pass move up. The upper krill and lower krill share timing so do not stop under any circumstances. Walk around the huge pipe lip, across the planks, then stop at the first rock ledge behind the rock wall sticking up because the upper krill will be almost on top of you but that spot is safe. When he passes move forward and jump into the pipe.

Once inside the huge pipe go up to the top opening. Stand there and wait for the upper krill to pass. As soon as he does go out and forward/left again around the pipe lip and along the walkway as if you were chasing him. You’ll come to the upper area before the hallway and easy peasy

If you are moving around these areas with friends either hold hands (two by two is easiest, but no more than 3) or wait for others to pass. Otherwise it is really easy for someone inexperienced to accidentally box you in and ruin the timing (on rocks or on krill).
@mild gust there are many ways to do Eden, this is just the way I do it and so far in however many runs I’ve never been hit by rocks or krill... so I keep doing it this way

The hardest thing is to jump that small gap at the beginning of Eden. I swear I could try for like 10 times before actually succeeded.

@outer oyster if you listen you can hear when the wind dies down and jump then. Your sky kid will often lower their head while the wind is blowing if you watch for it. Don’t try any jumps while the wind is blowing

Getting hearts is a grind. I’d suggest making lots of friends, leaving message candles, and being generous with gifting hearts 💕

I think most people understand that not everyone can gift hearts all the time. I’ve had people thank me and tell me they don’t have the candles, and honestly I just think it’s sweet that they’d bother saying thanks!
