Howdy guys! So what is a good amount of wings to have to be able get all statues in Eden? I know a lot of skill involved btw. For reference, l only did it 2 times so far. 1st time I got 10 Ascended Candles but I don't remember how many WL. 2nd time I got 13 with 121 WL. Got 4 buffs as well, but only 1 I got it perm on my cape

I think the max is right about 16 AC. For me, I tend to miss some in the constant rock rain area cuz I just can't see when I'm in there sometimes.

They all do the same thing functionally, block one krill hit or a couple crab/rock hits (recharged at their respective temples or at the end of Eden). Pick the cheapest (prairie or isle, depending on whether hearts to finish the constellation or AC is the harder to get for you) or the one you like aesthetically

Two things will happen: one, when you show up to Eden in-game, festival tech will be active. You can see players from all other instances as simplified models, and the staff leading will be visible and likely giant. Second, they will be talking and giving instructions in the stage vc in this discord.
We will all climb Eden together (with the staff giant, they’ll likely be getting hit in silly ways), and you can go all the way through or stop before pnr

If it does return you to aviary all the portals will be closed and the return shrine will take you right back where you were, no progress lost.
(I think in this specific case it takes you back to the ground but with 0 wl so you just need to die again quickly)

How often do y’all recommend visiting Eden? Been playing for almost 4-5 yrs (since covid) and I’m still confused lolz ;] Ty for ur help! ❤️

Once a week at the most, since that’s how often the statues reset.
If you’re getting lots of wing buffs (from regular spirits, or a ts group), it may be worth going to Eden just to get those added to your count.
If you’re aiming for an elder mask, that costs a lot of ascended candles, so you may want to do Eden weekly to earn those.

If you don’t have either of those goals in mind, and you don’t find Eden particularly fun, no real need to go. You can earn enough AC for ts wing buffs just with the occasional shard. I’ve gone months between full Eden visits as an older player when I don’t feel like it

I go once a week to every other week through pnr, because I'm saving up for elder masks, plus I usually go at least once every other day through Eden itself on a dye run (because I use a lot of black dye).

That is the intended path. There is no beating it, only getting as far as you can.
You may decide to go back later, to get more ascended candles or after you’ve gotten wing buffs from spirits in order to apply them. But it’s not necessary (and you need to wait a week for it to reset before that)

Depends on skill and luck. The never-ending rain of rocks only starts at statue number 49.
(39 through 48 can be difficult)

Well done. In the last portion before the constant rain starts, the window of time available for moving without getting hit is quite small. There are patterns to the rocks, but I always get hit there a few times anyway.

i really want forest elder hair, wasteland elder hair and valley elder hair + mask but as a solo player it's gonna take me ages to get enough hearts for unlocking the elders

The only real restriction is don’t do it twice between Sundays, since the statues won’t have reset and you won’t get your full reward. If you want more people around running try the weekend, if you want quieter try weekdays

Yes, going through Eden involves sacrificing all your wing light. In return, you get ascended candles and receive any wing buffs you have unlocked.

Ascended candles can also be obtained from red shard mini events, and you can get enough to cover traveling spirit visits. So there is no need to go through Eden regularly, unless you need many ascended candles, and fast.

I go once every half year or so to receive my unlocked wing buffs.

!er The Eden door seems to be similar to a spirit gate, so possibly. However, you need to understand how Eden works:

• You get 0.25 AC per saved statue. There are a total of 63 statues for a maximum of 15.75 AC. To save a statue you need one wing light. So going in with few wing lights will yield a small result.
• Each statue can only be saved once per week. If you go a second time, you can only save the statues that you missed before. The further away a statue is, the more wing lights you may lose on the way to get to it.
• At 10 or fewer wing lights remaining, when your light is extinguished your sky kid will crawl very slowly. This can expose you to a lot more danger early on.

1. Unlock the warp skill with one of your friends.

2. Bring a recharge prop.

3. One of you stays behind cover with a recharge statue at all times while the other makes a run for nearby wl statues. (you take turns doing this) if there is no recharge statue in the vicinity of the cover your partner is in, they or you can place a recharge prop there.

4. If you get hit by rocks while making a run for the statues, you can safely and instantly teleport yourself out of harms way and to your friend with an already ready fire in a safe zone. This means no matter how many times you get hit you will not get stuck out in the rock storm and die.

Now this method does take some skill and much awareness and communication between one another to achieve (and you cannot go off by yourself out of warp range all willy nilly) but I found it to be a solid strategy thus far.

Ive been in sky for ten days with 130 wings and i managed to get 14.5 ascended candles out of the last run doing this.

It happens because of edge detection execution while jumping the game targets the character forward but in case 2 it also detects if there is a edge in front of you but when u quickly change direction it targets edge that are way to further resulting in long jumps

In terms of speed, I’m guessing it’s one of your first times there. You will speed up as you get used to the rhythm of rocks and get to know where the statues are. Some people do jump, I personally find it too punishing when you get hit. Size does affect it: small skids get blown around by the wind easier, tall skids get hit from behind cover more often (so neither is perfect)

I can suggest a small trick i use to sprint and jump at non stop rock fall zone i spam a static emote while flicking my joystick if i fall by getting hit from rock i stand up instantly and continue jumping

The short of it is you can buy wing buffs from spirits that cost Ascended Candles (the red ones you get for giving your light away to statues in Eden), and the wing buffs are added when you start over.

So, if you buy 5 wing buffs from spirits, when you are reborn after Eden you start with 5 wings. This is how older players have more than the 125 (?) winged lights that you can collect from the maps

Yes! Eden is the cycle of rebirth and sacrifice! You will enter, give away your winglight to revive those who have been lost to the storm, and be rebirthed to repeat the process!

Yeah, that's what happens when you go through eden, going through eden is necessary to obtain ascended candles (AC) you can use ascended candles to ascend spirits, ascended spirits will buff your wings the next time you go through eden which @regal verge explains in her response.

With AC you can also buy elder masks once you complete a constellation. You can buy different kinds of spells the most notable being the height gambling spell. And lastly, you can use AC to buy tickets to get an item early from events

Bring a friend with you so you can recharge each other with hugs and especially deep calls while going for statues! That’s the best tip I’ve ever gotten

after doing so, you gain ascended candles
