That's sounding like the game is failing to properly detect that you've actually collected the ascended candles outstanding, which is why it would keep trying to send you back instead of letting you out of stormlock

I do not recommend trying to break out of stormlock by any other way right now -- keep going back to Orbit, picking up all the ascended candle shards (the little rewards from the statue kids that you rescued) and then walking through to the credits gate

If you try to break out of stormlock by going to any other level while the game still thinks you have ascended candles that you need to pick up, it'll send you back to the statue field instead of letting you go to other realms properly

The more ascended candles you give to spirits, the more winged light you'll just naturally start with when you're reborn. For instance, when I go to Eden and lose all my winged light I'm reborn with 49 winged light already under my belt!

It's a prestige system :D

Advice:
**1) **Allow at least an hour for your first time through Eden.
**2) **It's an uncomfortable, vivid, dramatic experience. Don't plan on concentrating on anything IRL for at least 30 minutes afterwards because you may be shattered.
3) You're supposed to die. If you die you're not doing it wrong.
4) You can do it alone or with a friend. In some ways, it's simpler to do it alone.
5) The reward, in terms of what you experience, is huge,

The way I usually take is super easy, took me like 1 try to get it.

There’s the flying method I used in the vid or you can glitch through the crack which is a lot more friendly with less flaps.

For landing you basically look for the wall on the right side then try to aim for it and land right between the wall and the clouds. You can see water underneath but no need to land there.

I come out of Eden with 105 Wings. It is worth it. You use the Ascended Candles to unlock Wing Buffs. You collect Winged Light as you run the realms for dailies anyway. Then you go through Eden again and receive the Wing Buffs that you unlocked.

chibi makes the parts before PNR a bit more difficult (if you don't use shortcuts) due to smaller jump height. Some people say that chibi also gets hit less by the rain in PNR, but I'm not sure if that's a real effect or placebo.

I've tested chibi and not chibi in Eden! I don't have as many data points as I would want but so far to me it's looked like being chibi in Eden can help in one or two of the hiding spots but does nothing else

It’s a pretty common bug when servers merge at that point. You can wait for a prompt that asks you to continue by yourself or turn off your internet for half a minute or so, turn it back on and usually that allows you to move along too

Yes, it shouldn’t look like that and since the glitch takes us to some weird oob that’s why we can’t do anything there.

Usually after you offered all of your light to the fallen, you should immediately see a cutscene and then advance to flying to the next part (and then to orbit)

I’ve done my Eden runs probably 95% of the time solo, including my very first one. All good and also fun I love that you can go at your own pace, whether that’s taking it slow and exploring or going crazy with it.

For some people going with other players makes them be more worried about helping and end up not having such a good time and losing light faster, for others that’s the best part of it.

So it depends on your preference ✨

Pd. I do like helping people when we're there but servers just love keeping me apart and end up splitting anyone I go with or find

I haven’t been here for that long but the thing I’ve heard changed the most for people who have is the new crawling mechanics = when you’re down and without light, you cannot get up anymore and have to crawl you way to the end

Other than that I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it soon enough, just don't stay at one spot for too long when you're near the last stage and keep hopping between statues

Feel free to reach out if you ever feel like you want to go with someone else (I usually skip the first two stages but wouldn't mind doing them)

I’d say around 30 minutes but it depends on many things
So it could be less for someone who knows their way around it all and just wants to do it fast, and it could be closer to an hour for others

when you go through Eden, it takes away all your winged light and essentially you’re starting fresh* the winged light will be spawned to be collected where it normally was throughout the areas

*the more spirits you save in Eden using your own winged light, the more ascended candles you get. And the more ascended candle slots you upgrade in constellation, the higher amount of winged light you will spawn with after resetting

You can only get additional Ascended Candles from additional visits to Eden by giving light to statues that weren’t given light on your earlier visits.
The weekly Eden Reset returns all statues to their unlit status.

The Icon for unlocking higher level friendship abilities in a Friend Tree is the same as Wing Buff, but it isn’t a Wing Buff at all. You can only get Wing Buffs from Spirit Trees.

You must've lit someone's candle in Eden. You can spectate them while they are giving their light to the statues when you are done giving yours. You can just wait for a few mins for that prompt you mentioned or you can just kill the app and use return shrine but you might not re-unite with your friend if you choose the 2nd option.

Ironically, the hardest part of eden for me isn't the storm itself, but sitting through cutscenes afterwards

I have been to Eden 3 times now and each time, after I die, the screen goes black with one tiny shining white light in the distance, then I'm whooshed around and launched into the prism thing (the Eye, I assume), and finally this screen appears for several minutes. Eventually I'm prompted to "continue without waiting for others." When I continue, I'm sent to the scene where you hug the child of light, and everything else proceeds normally. Is this how the period after death is supposed to look? It's ugly and annoying and all I can do is sit and wait for the prompt that allows me to continue... I cannot do anything except look around and wait. As I said, this was the case for all 3 Eden runs.......

This is a widely seen bug. The game is proceeding correctly, but the camera position is incorrect, so you see a view far above or below where you should be looking. As you say, if you wait up to 10 minutes either it moves on to Orbit, or you get the dialog asking whether you want to move on without waiting for your companions. So the only thing wrong is what you're looking at while you wait for that to happen.

once you've ascended and lost all your wings in eden you have to wait until the next reset to obtain those candles again

Once you're comfortable with the amount of wing buffs you have, Eden can honestly just become a fun little challenge when you want something to do. At this point I start with 6-7 wings but I still go to Eden every week just because I like the experience. It's really an individual thing if you go often or not

I recommend that my moths do Eden at least once a month. In order to build a reserve and start to figure out the layout, timing and get confident with it in case they need to go their own. To collect their wing buffs is another important reason to go in the first 6 months. Also in case they finish a constellation early and can get the elder mask. And especially because of the group spirit visits; we often are given very little warning of them and it’s common for them to occur with a TS visit or two (so you might suddenly be faced with 4-7 spirits that you need to get the wing buff for in a short time). Also cause it’s common for them to accidentally miss shards.
Once they’re capable and have a nice stash, they can do it only when they want to. I have a few who only went the once and they’ve struggled since with AC, navigating krill and avoiding eden is doing them more harm than good

I found that, in the constant rain of rock area the chances of getting hit increase the more deep you are into the storm. So by sand dunes is typically when people are knocked down to a crawl or their shield breaks.

I always wear the chibi mask in Eden for this reason. You can also do spells to get to the ant size which is the best. Don’t lose your tall height lol

I took the praire elder mask which costs 75 Eden candles. So a little easier to achieve. Honestly they're most useful for red shard events cause I get whacked into something more often than in eden

I can't say when it would be "the best time" but it is wise to go there every week if you have energy to do it. Nothing happens if you don't, so don't take pressure to go there if you don't feel like it. ||It'll just unlock mostly new cosmetics and emotes. ||
