Teleport is the icon in the friend menu that will send you to the same level as your friend.

@dull olive if it ever turns out that someone’s not available, you can also fly there on your own if you take off from the top of the broken temple (where the message candles are). IIRC it takes 5 wing bars.

As you’re falling down form the maelstrom you can also slightly flick the joystick once and it’ll slow your fall, by the time you can control your movement again, quickly fly and use the 2nd mode of flight to get onto it

My favorite method getting up there alone is walking backwards into the dark and climb to the top of that broken tower back there.
After you reach the top you can flap to the opposite end of the gate where it's a bit lower and walk over to the star kid. It took about 5 flaps and climbing up doesn't require any flying

I struggled with one of the spirits in Triumph as well—the one that makes you chase blue snowflakes all over the ancient city with the twirling gold rings?
