So... I Have been making my own tune for a while now, and I think its pretty done :3
I made it after I had a dream that the new location was added to the world of Sky and it was called: The Island of Salty Salt.
It inspired me so I thought of it as one of the events and decided that it needed its own theme, like every other event in Sky has.
I think the timing in this melody is a bit off, but I dont think I can do better. :/
I think its also too short for a theme, but only by few seconds, so I guess its not a crime
While creating the tune I was asking for some feedback, but never got more than emotes (thanks for kind emotes anyway ^^). I would like to actually read something, so feel free to use critisism and tell me whats wrong or if you like it, Please tell me why. c:
And I would love it if someone who can play better (you know, rythm, timing 😅) could play this song for me so I can Have better version of it, but its ok if nobody does that, I dont think anybody will and its fine.

me, a synth player overwhelmed at the immense speed of these notes on this 3-octave grid: hyjhhhuhh sheet,, please?? On paper? Rhythm?

The black keys are just halves above and under the white keys. A sharp’s a half above, and a flat’s a half under. Beware though, B sharp is just C and C flat is just B. In apps like sky studio you can pick a key to put your sheet in. You can read from the sheet you’re transcribing in what key it is and use that one. When you then go and play it in sky it’ll automatically transpose it so you don’t have to worry about the black keys.

G major is in forest social space so if you go there, G will be the tonic note

You could try to autotune the audio once recorded to the actual modal scale

Well, 2 things I'd say

Relative pitch and basic music theory (chords and note names)

Those are the most relevant to this games music related mechanics

Other than that you can look up songs you wanna learn on YouTube, and if someone's played it in sky and uploaded it you can just learn them that way
