There was only an access wipe, not a progress wipe in beta. Older beta players who made it through the invite waves still kept their progress and items, that player probably got their mask from TS

You can "buy" the IAPs in Beta for free. Meaning if anything shows in the shop for you to buy with real money: it will pop up and can be purchased, but won't withdraw any money, since nothing in beta can be bought with real money. It'll only pop up as if u can buy it, but will get it for free

It's a mysterious beta only feature that measures how friendly you are. If you look search through some of the beta announcements you can find the original announcement. It's meant to be a mystery and we don't know how it works.

when you start out, you have a little icon above your head saying that you are new. There is a bar indicating this in your friend constellation. its the little heart with a diamond. presumably you do friendship things to fill the bar. when it is full, then you are a shepherd, and you can see the moth icon above players' heads, so its easier to know who needs help. no one knows how the bar gets filled exactly tho

Report every bug! a little goes a long way with helping out the devs. but also, please dont feel like you are obligated to find all the bugs every minute you play. sometimes your game actually works like it is supposed to 
even when others are reporting bugs. dont feel discouraged and take breaks! happy testing!

Cause sad moth noises I started during the December invite and stopped testing for 5 months, now I’m a moth. Oh well, I’m not surprised and am actually kind of happy cause I’m a moth again xD but the memories with that account, kind of sad this is a good thing, so I can prepare myself for progress wipes

I'm gonna waste my 10 minutes to say that you're gonna need a lot of time to spare if you plan on juggling live with beta. Also they'll say if a beta wave is the last beta wave for now, so if you don't see that note there'll be another wave after that one

tips on bug hunting and being a beta player:
🔹 - Play the game normally when you can. Devs definitely prioritize fixing game-breaking bugs that affects all players, but smaller-niche bugs will be likely be set at a lower priority.
🔹 - If live gets an update and a bug you reported is still there, please do not get discouraged, the devs didn’t ignore you, the fix is just at a lower priority or a bug that is difficult to fix and may take more time to sort out.
🔹 - Also read #beta-announcements when a dev shares new features and fixes... try to actively test out the stuff they mention. I also lurk around beta-screenshots and this discussion channel cause people tend to share interesting bugs they’ve discovered or want confirmation on.
🔹 - When giving reports, be concise about details and be polite! a tgc staff member has to read all of that. Adding in screenshots and vids is a definite bonus. Have a document that has copy paste info like ur phone's model and such. The max time for a reply is 10 min before skybot cancels.
🔹 - see what bugs people are testing and sometimes... It's good to sit out and be a control group. For example some people bought multiple seasons passes post-enchantment and got tons of seasonal candles. I chose not to do that so if anything comes up that makes my experience different from theirs (and vice versa) I can let Devs know thru report or feedback. Also sometimes cutscenes of seasonal spirits quests aren't ready day 1 of release. See what other people are reporting and maybe hold back and wait.
But biggest thing is don’t worry if you don’t bump into any bugs. It’s ok to chill and take breaks when you need it! There’s lots of other active beta players

I was doing homework while in VC when my phone gave me the beta invite notif, homework got thrown out the window when that happened (Also tip for waiting for beta invites but not wanting to stare at your screen for hours: Just turn on all notifications for that channel (and get the beta invite (ping) role to be safe) and then go do whatever you wanna do! If the role doesnt ping you the channel will give you a notif)

There's like 10k beta spots total (no idea on how many in each wave) and 150k server members. So the spots are taken super fast because demand FAR outweighs supply here.

@lament gorge a friend of mine has this problem, then yesterday she decided to leave the program and then rejoined through the previous wave, and somehow now she's able to download the app through google playstore. perhaps you can try this too? there's no guarantee, but it's worth to try.

If you're getting the Item Not Found message, make sure the Google Play app itself is up to date. if it is up to date, try clearing the Google Play cache and restarting your phone by turning it completely off and back on.
If you have multiple Google accounts try toggling between them and make sure you're viewing from the Google Play account that was accepted into the Beta.
If none of the above works, there’s some other troubleshooting steps pinned in #beta-discussion-android you can try. It's a known issue for many games in the Play store, not just Sky.

The invite link is full! Will there be another wave?
Ktjn will announce when they do the final invite wave, so if that hasn't happened yet then there will probably be another! Be on the lookout!
When will the next wave come out?
We don't know, so please don't skip on sleep and food just to get the invite link! Thats not healthy
Google isn't working right!
Check #beta-faq . The usual response I've seen so far is to wait. So just be patient!
And lastly.... check #beta-faq before asking questions!

I just tried something and here's something that might be a bit helpful somehow :
If the invite said it's full even when the link just released
Try to refresh until the button exists
If you have other device, try to check on the beta invite announcement and see if it still have some slots or it's really full
Its mostly on google one but if ios also had the same issue, do the same method I mentioned

From what I've noticed you have to wait a bit before being able to download the app from Google

for new testers, and those still waiting:
beta is pretty much just playing the regular game, but more buggy. sometimes things happen where you lose currency, just ask anyone who bought the null item during sanctuary...
just play the game as you usually would, and report bugs. but be aware that some bugs can be.... game breaking. please dont get too mad if when that happens. there is rarely any compensation for lost things

If Google is not giving access to download the BETA app, please wait because TGC has no control over Google. If you have gotten the confirmation page, then you are a tester and have not been removed from the program. Some previous beta players have said it can take up to 12 hours or several days, let's all be patient here. Reference #beta-faq for more info, please. If you have a question or have similar questions, please, please, please read the FAQ first, this chat has a 10 minute cooldown so it's extremely hard to answer them all one after the other.
