For dodging the fire, you need to be either at a checkpoint or at one of the bunches of 3 candles and wait for it to pass before you go again, also avoid the smoke trail because that can get you as well

The bunches of 3 candles and checkpoints are a safe zone. What I did was just lure the demon things into the open then go around them and quickly pass where they circle back to.

Fire is full of check points and rest stops. It was tricky doing that without the rest stops, you literally had to dance and pray xD

Well the idea of the quest givers has been a super great feature for Sky, I joined it for Sanctuary, but since they were added in Enchantment, they are pretty new still today

I was running around aimlessly because all the candles were lit and I wasn’t sure which way to go

So I just picked a trail

I’m pretty sure I know what happened

So, my game was being buggy earlier. When I died, my save point must’ve not registered and so sent me back to the beginning of map #2

I must’ve thought that was my correct save point and so tried to enter the cave

Which didn’t work because that’s how I entered from map #1

Hence why I kept dying

Ok, just did the fire trial solo after having done it with a friend the first time around, and now that I've been through it on my own and know how it works, I feel like it'd be no problem repeating it ||to get WL after my weekly rebirth||. In a way, it's the easiest trial to repeat, since it doesn't require precision platform jumping. You literally just need to remember where to walk and when. The first time through is a nightmare though unless you have an uncanny sense of direction, which I don't.

The worst (and best) part about Fire for me was really the anxiety. The combination of wandering around in the dark, needing to get from candle to candle quickly in order to not die, fire/smoke monsters seemingly coming out of nowhere to kill you, and that haunting music all combined to make my heart race the whole time. They really did a great job of creating the atmosphere for Fire. I thought it was an excellent way to cap off the season.

Ah, that’s just down to memorising them. It’s only those two, after all.

The first one is the freezing one, walking from light to light with their friend to keep the warmth. The second one is locked into a cave, crying for their lost friends.

Most of the spirits are “on the way through” the realm, so you never really have to go looking hard for them in far off places.

i think for a short time after they added the feature where we could relive spirits at any time there was no way to tell which one we needed for the quest, but it was changed shortly after so now you can spot it almost as easily as you could before

I have 2 questions about all the trials.

1. Do you all have the Air Trail pillar at the start without the flame?
2. In Fire and Earth trial this candle checkpoints have the emblem of their trial, but as far as I remember, I don't see the emblem in the Water or Air trial: is it the same for you too?
