Air trial is a matter of flight control experience imo, some people can have hard times in it, and that's totally fine, we aren't all experts but we can help each other! @rain garden maybe you could ask for help in #looking-for-group-live

hmm, a tip I have for that part will be to take your time. you can stand on one rotating rock for a long time to make sure of the timing, just hop to the upright side whenever it turns

Problem with last part of Earth trial is when server switches and I slip off the rotating rock because it changes position when the server swaps.

That half Eden door looks like an 2001: Space Odyssey easter egg 😂 We just need 🦴 throwing 🐒 😂 (btw I blame the Earth trial for the door bug: check the labyrinth opening cutscene 😉 )

The last 2 times I've done the Trial of Air, I've tried to take the shortcut at the end, got blown by the wind wall onto one of the platforms near the 2nd boost, and made it to the air spirit shrine platform by the intended route.

At least one of the way work. I remember I do shortcut, bc I have a hard time off landing and why not take the one needs less landing time

That's true @rain garden but what you wanna do is, as soon you jump on that candle arrow you switch to flying mode and move camera to top view when you see you have reached above the final platform switch back flying mode and you can fall on the platform.

It's probably your connection if it's not then server issues

What I noticed if you are having trouble burning mushrooms. Try disconnecting internet then wait for a while (in the mean time you should see them burning) then reconnect. Always work for me. It's related to server.

I didn't get to complete sanctuary but that's when I joined my friends to sky.
On the other I'm confident I'll be able to finish Prophesy plus this is when I got more confident and honed my skills.

It's a tough choice I would have loved to have joined during Lightseekers and rhythm tho...

Once you collecting everything from a seasonal spirit, then you can obtain a seasonal heart

the chart in the pins of this channel might be helpful! Add together the costs of all the items you've bought already, subtract that number from 330, and divide by 6 if you have pass to get a rough idea of how many more days you need

compare the number of days you need to how many are left in the season, and you'll get a pretty good idea about where you are right now!

oh also of course take the unused seasonal candles in the total too forgot about that

what is it with the new checkpoint ?? i have yet to rerun trial of air for the wl but am curious to hear about that new checkpoint

There is a checkpoint at the 2nd of the 3 consecutive jumps at the end, now. On the one hand, the trial is still plenty challenging and I'm glad TGC responded to people who felt like they were banging their heads against the wall with that jump. On the other, making all three without falling was immensely satisfying and players just starting the trials now won't have the same experience.

I think they also got rid of that gust of wind that can blow you off the floating platform that takes you over to one of the last stationary platforms before the triple jump. I liked that little gust. It was pretty easy for correct for once you knew about it.

i haven't in live yet but i did in beta, i don't have any strong feelings per se, but i find those changes are an necessary evil i have to live with, especially the checkpoint at the last section, it ruins the flow and satisfaction of chaining all 3 boosts successfully, it became a matter of arriving before anyone else and avoiding it

it's ironic considering i complained and whined about the uptick in difficulty at that part

I feel about the same. Clearly, many players felt that last section was way too hard. I was one of them myself, particularly before they fixed the flight controls and (seemingly) tweaked the physics. After those adjustments, I felt like the difficulty was just right, personally, though my guess is complaints kept coming in even after that, so I credit TGC for listening to Sky's users. But linking those three boosts was enormously satisfying, and new players will lose out on that experience. And there was value in the bonding that happened in this space over the nightmarish difficulty of the trial. Even so, the trial of air is still plenty difficult, especially given that the baseline difficulty of the rest of the game is pretty low, so I can't complain too much.

So I've completed the season constellation. What does the little flag mean?

Right now, it just means that you've completed it. In some previous seasons, it used to be the way that you could watch the final cutscene for the season, but since Enchantment it hasn't worked that way. Now we get the cutscene after completing all of the quests (in this season, the trials), so we won't be able to view it until Monday once the fire trial is out

For the past few seasons, there have usually been about 2-3 weeks in between, but it also depends on how beta testing goes and if TGC needs to make any significant changes or bug fixes or something

you can find the seasonal heart on top of every seasonal spirit and exchange it with 3 seasonal candles then you can excange those seasonal hearts for ultimate gift with the questgiver

@spice dawn oops kinda late. To see the season’s constellation, go to home, call out the constellation (of regular realms) as usual, but this time look at the middle constellation page. Literally middle, rainforest -season-valley.

Yeah I've missed quite a few days due to classes so I've already given up on it since I know I can't make it in time

If I look at the spirit trees I can figure out if I'll barely have enough

I'm gonna go do some math now

So I need to get 205 candles to get everything I divided that by 6 (1 ap candle, 1 seasonal candle, 4 dq) which gave me 34.16 repeating meaning I need 35 days I have 38 days left to seasonal cr, if I make sure to get those everyday I'll barely get the ultimate gift

I've re-run the trials for WL, but honestly sometimes I just do them for fun if I have free time after my daily CR. They're each pretty harrowing the first time through, but they get more enjoyable with repitition.

Don't give up! It took many of us a really long time to get through it for the first time.

I eventually managed to finish the air trial! I discovered that the last wind platform you jump on needs to be high to avoid the wind wall, so you have to jump on it as it is going up but not when it's at its lowest point. You then have to switch to glide mode immediately in the air.

Turns out air trail is so much easier with friends it’s a crime that I originally did it on my own for the first time

It’s best to take a friend that you can warp to. Then have one person wait at every step. When the other person dies, they just warp to their friend.

yeah, im only 47% done and im sure i can finish it! if you get 6 seasonal candles per day for the next 38 days (how long the season goes) you would get 228 seasonal candles. The total amount needed is 330, so if youre more than halfway done, you’ll definitely be able to finish it!
