Yes the trick with this jump, when you are at Shoto's location and jumping down onto the large platform, don't press the direction controls, just do a standing forward jump.

You'll land without getting blown around and you can do a slow walk right across the large platform.

Honestly I agree with all of the complaints about the air trial being more obnoxious than difficult since my issues were more likely due to a lack of control over where I went instead of a lack of understanding, but I wish people could make this kind of criticism without throwing a tantrum. Games don't need to be terrible to have flaws SkyHeadpat

Why worry about getting lost in a maze in the earth trial when you can worry about falling through the perfectly sized gap and get trapped because you don't fall through the gap but your feet aren't on the ground so you can't jump out of it

At least from my experience jumping on a corner is a death sentence, you can't recover because you can't control when your skykid jumps, it will just jump on its own and 100% of the time it will just hop into the void

And I can typically get all of the candles required with a minimal amount of grinding. If you want the cosmetics, play the game and earn them. And if you don’t want them, save up your candles for the next TS.

Guys you get a GOOD game for free, and the Devs try their hardest to make it managable for older phones, and make everyone happy INCLUDING people who attended the season. We should appreciate their kindness, and personally I like the TS system because it means veteran players will still have their rare cosmetics, and rare cosmetics will only go to people skilled enough as any veteran player.

@young marten - If it is, it seems like a much lower barrier than the tripple wind boost jump. The first time I completed the trial, I went straight to the exit platform like you did. Took maybe 4 tries. The second time, I made it to the statue platform after maybe a dozen. I have not yet managed to make it there by taking the the 3 boosts despite trying 78,563 times.
