i’m new to the game so can someone explain how seasons work in sky?

Welcome to Sky! The wiki can likely provide information if what I say doesn’t make sense- but seasons are events that usually last about 10 weeks now, with 2-3 week breaks between them! Each season brings new spirits and new items, and lately brings a new area! some items during a season will be locked behind the Adventure Pass, which you can buy in the in game shop for real money each season (a pass lasts one season). Some of these pass locked items include the ultimate reward(s), which you are able to get after completing the rest of the season’s constellation! The other seasonal items, even pass locked ones, can return as traveling spirits in the future, however ultimates cannot return yet. Sorry if this was worded poorly, if you have more questions feel free to ask or take a peek at the wiki to see if it has anything for you!

the 1:1 candle conversion is actually pretty good design, especially when considering that it doesn't create any confusion or imbalance with the in app purchase options; they're slower to collect compared to regular candles because the season lasts for quite a while (or else people would finish off the seasonal constellation too soon)

you can get around an absolute maximum of 420 candles at the end of the season if you spent absolutely zero seasonal candles

the real number is around 420-292 = 128 converted

oh right, my bad -- stance emotes don't have upgrades

but stances will change what pose you take when you meditate/sit down -- try pressing it 3 times, and you'll go through several different poses

*try pressing the "sit down" emote multiple times when you're in the timid stance, rather, not "press the timid stance multiple times"

the other stances all have their own poses too, so play around with that if it's your first time seeing it

Swiping agressively to the right/left and up/down makes you do twirls and flips which can help with sharp turns! (I would suggest practicing flying and flipping in prairie)

@sage violet Sunny forest is the part of forest you can enter through a constellation gate, where there is a hollow tree you can go into that leads to huge undeground caves

Going through the exit of sunny forest to broken bridges area makes your chances of being able to save a manta higher, since there is one stuck in the plants just underneath the exit
