TGC has not made a statement saying that that spirit won't return, so I would assume that it's still a possibility

You don't really have to, but if you want more ascended candles that's the only way to get them. You will need ascended candles to purchase wing buffs from the traveling spirits when they come, and also to purchase some of the spells from Ark and for friendship level upgrades

#

But no, if you don't need more candles for now, you don't have to go weekly if you don't want to. It's all up to you pSkyHeart

usually theres a 2-3 week breaks between season, but that can vary depending on testing and bug fixing, and sanctuary should end on sept 20 so new season wont come until at least october

What is a Traveling Spirit? SkyThink
•Traveling spirit (TS): past seasonal spirits that come back for a limited time to offer players a chance to get their emotes/stances/calls and cosmetics that the spirit sold while their season was active. Each traveling spirit also offers a wingbuff and a heart for players to buy!
•Traveling spirits are chosen at random, and hints to identify them are posted in #news some time before they come!
•Spirits from a particular season cannot come as a TS if said season had just ended! They will be added into the possible TS pool after the following season ends.

How often do they come? How long do they stay for? Can they repeat? pSkyPeek
•A traveling spirit comes by every 2 weeks at reset on Thursday, and departs 24 hours after eden reset, for a total of 96 hours (4 days).
•Yes!! A traveling spirit can and will repeat, just not right after they’ve made a visit!

Which currency do they use? stickerShiny
•Candles: You can use candles to buy blessings, cosmetics and music sheets from traveling spirits! These are also used to purchase the heart node!
•Hearts: Hearts are used to buy emote upgrades from traveling spirits!
•Ascended Candles: These are used to buy the wingbuff that each traveling spirit offers!

Side note:

#

•If you’ve previously unlocked cosmetics, hearts or blessings from a spirit, they will appear already redeemed. They do not reset between visits.
•If you have finished a spirit before said spirit returns as a traveling spirit for the first time, you will be able to purchase a wingbuff, and a blessing.
•The wingbuff can only be bought once from each unique traveling spirit.
•All previously pass-locked items will be available to purchase without needing an adventure pass.
•Ultimate gifts from past seasons will not be obtainable from traveling spirits.
•Prices of a spirit during their season does not have an impact on that spirit’s prices as a traveling spirits.
•Some traveling spirit prices may change from their first appearance
•If you’ve already collected the stance/call/emote, you do not need to relive the traveling spirit’s memories.

Important:
•Official prices of a traveling spirit can only be obtained when said spirit had arrived. Unless it’s a repeat Spirit, there's no way to know the prices before hand without using illegal means/breaking the ToS .
Thus, please refrain from posting prices until official ones are made public.
