Technically, I thought compensation sort of meant compensation for those who were annoyed they changed cosmetics from exclusive (repeatedly advertised) to nonexclusive after the fact. Its not for the value of the pass, but for the little exclusivity deceit. I'm all for sharing with people, but they sold the pass as something it is not.
And now I worry if they will depreciate the value of this coming season after I buy the pass later :/ I wish they were a bit more transparent sometimes because it is a great game, but there have been some speedbumps

I can't join the cosmetics exchange thing since I started from enchantment but I'm angy for old players, the candles are too little :(

The whole it’s optional thing is really grating me atm, so tgc values my participation of a complete season to that of 20 candles?
The deer mask showing in the list shows that in some way shape or form it will arrive in the game again

It's not the complete season, just the ultimate mask + pendant. I personally agree that it is odd, but this was probably meant in reply to some players who complained about paying IAP without knowing the cosmetics would return for free (in the form of travelling spirits)
I'm not extremely knowledgeable about this but TGC devs definitely value our participation more than that. There's a lot of room for discussion, but the devs always put player feedback first

My feedback was that they should scrap the idea and if they do plan on bringing items back to make a variant of them instead, instead of a deer mask with gold horns bring back one with silver horns, metallic blue horns’ black horns ect then both parties are happy

It is the complete season though k1k1ra I wouldn’t have the deer mask if I didn’t participate in the entire season, you can’t equate the ultimate item of the season to 20 measly candles.

I know, I was there for Gratitude! I do agree that this may not have been the best path to take, but it's what the team chose and I'll respect them for it. Like I said, there has been feedback about IAP vs TS and all that, I guess they really wanted to shut down those complaints by giving them an option.

You can’t equate real time and money to regular candles when the majority of players who are eligible to exchange items already have copious amounts of candles and hearts anyway...
The worst thing about all of this is that they created this whole situation they said in the beginning that seasonal items wouldn’t return and do you know what that did? It pressured everyone into buying the seasonal passes for exclusive items. The same players who are eligible for the exchange are the same people who helped build up the game from the beginning. Don’t throw that back in my face and say ok if you don’t like that we were wrong and everyone deserves these items now, we’ll take that burden from you at the cost of a useless currency, and I mean useless, veterans already have majority if not all of the cosmetic items unlocked. Why would I accept this?

The point is that as paying players who have been here for nearly all of all available seasons, the ratio and basis of this exchange is completely useless, as well as pointless because 1) we don’t need the items 2) where is the different between p2p players and ftp players? I get wanting to make things equal for both groups, but we’re talking about money here.

The ultimate gift is the final item presented upon completing all constellations of a season: mushroom umbrella, campfire, deer mask are all ultimate gifts. It doesn’t come up on the season spirits constellation branches.
Think of it like elder hair, but seasonal.
