I've not been violated by a krill in months and then the one time I don't use the immortality bug because I'm safe he clips through the ceiling, drains my entire wing, pushes me into a black pond, the impact takes one light away, the animations of getting up and leaving the pond take another 5 and by the time I reach the only light that survived and want to pick it up, it despawns

It’s always been called levitate.
When you approach a meditation shrine there is a sit down button. It doesn’t even resemble levitate. 
The confusion mainly stems from new players mistaking the meditation shrines for return shrines.
And that’s more of a design decision on TGC’s part, which maybe no one gave feedback on.
