Even as someone who missed a season, I think i’d be more fair to still require Adventure Pass items to be purchased instead of being available for regular candles. Perhaps candles for that season can be temporarily available in the shop to buy?
Or, players may have the option to spend the current seasons candles on them, but make it so we’ll have to save up or buy extra candles to get the adventure pass items.
-How do you feel about this feature as someone who started late and missed one or more seasons?
it’s okay, I don’t mind missing the seasons that much but it’s nice to be given the opportunity to acquire more items. I also think it’s neat just to be able to have a snipet of the previous seasons and get to see the spirits missed.
+How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available?
I’d say it’s long enough, having it on the weekend (end of fri, sat and sun) was better in my opinion.
+Currency prices of the items: candles, hearts, etc.

I don’t know who to replay to with this but I saw jo so I’m going to leave this here, I’ll be happy to move it somewhere else if it doesn’t belong here
I do want it to be so players who didn’t have access to previous season and their rewards can have a chance to get them from the traveling spirit, because like there can be a few reasons they didn’t get all the rewards, they weren’t playing at the time, didn’t have the pass, didn’t farm enough to get all the rewards
But that’s for individual spirits, I don’t know how you can make the ultimate reward available if that’s an option

That's a very very common bug and I reset the game client entirely to hope for better luck next try.
Its not enough to reload the level.
I'm sure since this has impacted seasonals, it is a high priority wasp that is about to be squished.

@rain garden umbrella helps as a parachute and flying with no crashing in valley's races and where the 3 prairie's floating islands are. I also use it where it is windy and the umbrella helps me fly without wasting my light when I am playing alone and need some stars.

@stable wing ||you would have to go back through eden after collecting the TS buff either way since you lose all your stars outside of buffs upon rebirth||

I was able to complete seasonal spirit quests by waiting until the spirit has appeared completely before running into them. I had to reset and complete it before other people got to it though

For the people that have trouble reliving the spirit from today’s quest, this is what I did:
When the spirit was bugged, I went through the other gate (to go to the next scene) and then went back. And flew to relive the spirit.
That’s how I could relive it. I hope it helps someone

Being fast isn’t enough. No matter how fast you go down that slope the spirit can and will be bugged. It took me about 15 tries

I realized I have more luck with my the spirits when I’m with friends, as you don’t get matchmaking with lots of other players
You just have to be fast and try to be the first one to activate it otherwise and it still might not work

The other spirits worked fine for me, one I got to work with a reset. But this time idk why it won’t trigger for me. I can light it, but it stays as a little blue orb flying all over the place
I’ll try a couple times more, I have some time before reset

Thanks to the extra 5 candles from the devs, I am 12 days from finishing the season and there are 22 extra days of candles left to finish
I think that’s the most breathing room ever
If I don’t burn out, and none are missed, there are over 130 extra seasonal candles that can be gathered by the end of the season and converted to regular afterwards

It’s not just the quest spirit that is getting glitched during merges. My friend was trying to do the juggling spirit and that got glitched right here in much the same way:

Saw a moth get stuck on a spirit yesterday too, it seems the phasing for them and their transitions is having problems

Yeah. What happened is that, when she burned the spirit at the entrance, the spirit trail wove all the way to the end, and then we turned around and realized the spirit had stopped behind us. We went back to get it, and then it moved to here and started hovering as that little light, but never came down

Its probably an issue with game environment merging automatically. When a new player joins in mid-spirit trail, forget finishing and start over.
Session merging is very buggy.
My opinion? Five season candles is about to not be enough for an issue still going this long.

it doesn't seem to work sometimes when i/a friend looses light by flying up and normally recharging by just standing there

@autumn cove anytime someone uses a wedge to fly, you can recharge their light by standing close to them and/or pulling out your candle.
I've accidentally completed the task at the end of valley race with some random person, because they had used a wedge to fly into the arena.
Forest is another good place to recharge people

There is a way around it most of the time. I usually keep my distance until the spirit's "memory" is fully loaded before approaching.
Or go with a buddy/other people.

@molten estuary if you have been getting seasonal wax and it’s not increasing, contact support through the gear menu in your game and let them know your currency is not updating

@jolly peak you can walk it up a hill. You know how in that big cave area there is a darkplant in front of the lantern? The wide opening to its left. Then you head up the left side of the hill. Only requires one jump to get up to the higher platform.

An estimated to when we’ll get a new season though is usually around 2 weeks after the current one ends
