Yeah you can. The spirit will reset tho. I recommend going with a friend as you are less likely to server merge as well as the plants have a less chance if being burnt too ^^

it’s more or less seasonal exclusive. however there will be chances to get some of the content later on.

occasionally a traveling spirit from a past season will show up for a few days, and you can unlock some of its items then.

as someone who was not here for the earlier seasons, I like the traveling spirits a lot. the prices are a little high, but I found that within a week I was able to cover the costs of everything I wanted. i’m also happy with the length that they are available, it’s really good timing personally. if prices could be lowered a little bit I would be really happy but that’s about it from me stickerHeart

I don't think ultimate rewards should be offered as "normal" spirits, because that would devalue the work that the players had put in to getting the ultimate reward. maybe as a reward for ascending/completing all the travelling spirits of that particular season?

I’m pretty happy with the traveling spirits, but I’m not a completist— the main cosmetics I’ve been interested in are musical instruments. Some other players get frantic about grinding to get everything within one weekend; a few more days would likely be welcome for them. I definitely appreciate the chance to get new wing buffs.

I‘m ambivalent at best about items that were previously pass-exclusive being made available through them for basically free. ~~I would be relieved if crab call weren’t offered again~~
How do you feel about this feature as someone who has participated in all of the seasons?
I love the gesture of inclusivity towards newer players, especially that it allows people to get emotes, stances, etc.
As a veteran player I love the wing buff—I don’t use spells often, and I’m not extremely pressed for hearts (and prefer to use those three candles for friends or constellations).
It feels like a good compromise for items that weren’t pass-exclusive.
It would feel unfair if people were able to get things for free that we had to use money for.
Depending on how Traveling Spirits are done, I’d be concerned that new/newer people wouldn’t be able to collect the same number of wing buffs as the rest of us, which would feel unfair.

As a veteran player I really like @timid wharf idea of the ultimate rewards of each season. Only being obtainable once we’ve competed all the traveling spirits of a particular season.

I myself started at launch but choose not to buy the gratitude masks. I didn’t like them and it seemed like wasted effort getting hearts for items I didn’t like. But because I did that, I wasn’t able to get the deer mask. So the chance to get it would be great.

Aight so this might get jumbled because I’m tired and my opinions on the Traveling spirits is conflicted:

At first glance, I love the idea. I think it is great you are allowing newer players to obtain some of the limited content from the past. The pricing (especially for then pass exclusive items that you had to pay for) is reasonable.
I do think with the pricing needs to come some form of an announcement? If not maybe a set candle amount for each spirit distributed according to discretions of whoever sets them up. This way players can be prepared if they want to buy out the spirit tree.
The time they stay for is reasonable as well as it allows enough time for people to a) get the spirit and b) buy out what they want/can before it leaves.
On the topic of buying passes, I have been gifted for both seasons I participated in ( SeasonRhythm SeasonBelonging ) and enjoyed completing (working to complete) both. Leading to the idea that ultimate gifts should not be sold by these spirits, as it undermines the value of the rewards and discourages people from actually buying the AP. Though being a new player during lightseekers I am really happy I get the opportunity to get some more items from it! ESP the instruments, as I’m sad I missed out on them and enjoy their premise.

The wing buffs is an interesting idea! (ten wedges here we COME-) I’m interested to see how it will go once we all pass the 120 mark pEyes
Over all I’m excited to see how you refine this feature in the future! (Sorry If this is all weird haaaa)

-i didn’t buy the adventure pass for any of the seasons, though a friend gifted me the adventure pass this season (Rhythm).
+i haven’t completed the season of rhythm (yet SkyLOL )
-i have not participated in all the seasons, i started late (in lightseekers). i’m excited to have a chance to unlock items from Gratitude SkyTada , and for my friends who missed seasons to have a chance to experience a taste of past seasons.
+i feel good about the spirits “only” showing up for a few days every two weeks, i like them to feel like a special thing, rather than part of the regular routine. i’m in no rush to ‘catch em all’ SkyLOL
+i’m ok with the currencies of the items (candles, hearts and ascended candles). i’m also fine with how ‘expensive’ they are. honestly i wouldn’t mind if they cost even more. if they cost too little i’d feel tempted to just unlock everything, but i really prefer to save up for particular items that i love instead of getting everything.
-i’m hoping for the umbrella (not the ultimate one though, i think that should stay ‘season exclusive’); also the blue turtleneck cape from lightseekers; i’m hoping for the big poofy pants from season of belonging, and the red bow hair;

generally i love the idea of the past spirits visiting us now and then, like an old friend stopping by when they’re in the area. it makes a nice reminder to stop and remember adventures we had back when the season originally ran, and maybe tell stories about it to newer players. stickerHeart

as a player who missed quite a few seasons, i feel that traveling spirits were a good addition to the game, as it allows players like me to experience what we might have missed when we missed the other seasons. For the length of the travleing spirits, i feel that its just way too short. If you arent prepared, you might miss some of that spirits cosmetics, which in turn played out with me upset i didnt manage to get the flute or hat from last week’s spirit. Prices seem fair, as they do cost seasonal candles which are limited for every season, but some prices might just be a little overpriced, and in order to get them must prepare a week in advance.
as for the rest!

-No, i missed like 2 and 3 quarters SkyLOL
+ I have not completed it, and sadly, because i do not have the AP, i cannot get the ultimate gift

i'm okay with it, but ultimately i dislike it. assuming we'll be seeing each spirit from the seasons, it's extremely disheartening knowing i'll see players who joined in belonging having gratitude items. having those items felt special.. and now the only unique thing we have is the pendant or ultimate reward. on the plus side, i enjoy the wing buff.. everything else is useless to me since i am a veteran.

ultimate rewards would be cool, but they'd have to be limited. maybe keep it limited to people who paid for a pass during the season, so it's relatively fair.

overall i'm very 50/50 on this traveling spirit thing. it's cool that newer players can get old seasonal items, but personally it feels like a slap in the face at the same time. having old seasonal items felt special and unique, but that charm has worn off. there isn't even anything good for us veterans, except for the spells, but even then not all of us are crazy about them. also, REALLY dislike how pass exclusive items can be bought with normal candles. that just hurts.

I would suggest if the ultimate rewards come back that their candle amount be higher. People should have to put some work into obtaining them.

I do think the wing buff with traveling spirits should stay. It’s been long requested for us to have 10 wedges. Adds motivation towards completing constellations. As for the blessings, they should stay as well. It may not be much for players who have the higher items unlocked. But it’s better than just a wing buff.

i love traveling spirits as someone who started as soon as gratitude ended plus has bought the belongings and rhythm pass. i love the addition of wing buffs, but i do feel like ultimate rewards should not be sold by these spirits. it keeps the exclusivity that people like (plus this was a topic that some were furious about when it was first tested in beta). if ultimate rewards are to be sold back, i feel like it should be only for those who bought the seasonal pass and was not able to complete that season.

i would not mind if all the cosmetics were to come back from each spirit, but if it does not pull through-- i would suggest:

letting the spirits sell their most popular cosmetic(s).
just like how belongings was set up where people who did not buy the pass were still able to obtain an item from each category (1 cape, 1 sheet music, 2/4 of the masks, 1 instrument), set up the traveling spirits from its corresponding season in that sense.
example being; out of all the traveling spirits from lightseekers, you could obtain 1 cape, 1 instrument, 1 sheet music, half of the masks and so forth

TBH this isn’t relevant to me cause this is my first AP and as much as I want items I missed... I do not believe past ultimate rewards or paid items should ever be obtainable for free. I do find it exciting to light up a player and discover they’re a veteran just by their cosmetics. There’s a very cool sense of prestige and it makes me respect them for supporting the game in the early days.

I think it would be fair if travelling spirits provide old AP items only to players with active AP. The item’s value/exclusivity is not as questioned because it remains behind a paywall.

🔹 How do you feel about this feature as someone who started late and missed one or more seasons?
I find it both a relief and a burden. I agonized over missing the black belonging cape and I’m looking forward to the day when I can obtain it. (whether it is in its original colour... or with slightly altered colours or a duller glow. I think it is fair for travelling spirit cosmetics to be slightly different than the original)

I think the length of availability is fine.

The price for travelling spirits is understandably high. However as a newer player I have to grind everyday to reach 100+ candles within two weeks AND to work on the current constellations available by default.. On top of this I can hardly afford to upgrade any of my friendships and I’m hesitant to even offer candles to make new friends in game, I’ve been relying solely on QR codes though discord. When other people/veterans talk about having non-english speaking friends and treasuring their non verbal connection.... I feel like I missed out on that because I barely have any. I’m grinding all realms as fast as I can to get candles. I barely have any free time to slow down and connect with strangers or help newbies.

I understand that this is my choice but... It’s honestly not a fun feeling to spend two weeks feeling like my candle budget is being stretched thin in 3 directions. I get that travelling spirits are to help players like me but it has unquestionably compounded the stress of missing out.

If spirits and their trees costs were announced ahead of time, at least I could decide for the next one/two weeks if I want to grind hard for it or to actually relax and spend time with friends and spend candles on constellations/friendships.

I was reading a little into some of the opinions of players who had bought previous adventure passes, and I think that although making the UR available would be nice, it would be quite unfair for those who had not bought it previously to have access to it using candles. I believe someone had mentioned before that it could be made to have to buy it, I think that would be a good feature once you finish the seasons traveling spirit constellations.

Coming from someone who played during gratitude season and who also was a confused new player at the time and couldn’t get any of the cosmetics, I’m really glad to have a second chance at getting them. Plus it’s nice to have a new incentive to go on candle runs, aside from normal constellations. Also with the current random spirit system, I’m glad I get to have a break between traveling spirits that have cosmetics I already have and those that I want to buy. Love the wing buffs and extra hearts!

+How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available?
I feel like it’s ok, however I think the spirit should be announced earlier, perhaps a week in advance? It could create more hype and also be more of an incentive to know if the next spirit is one you want or not

I definitely would not like to see ultimate rewards being offered. I would also feel better about the traveling spirits if the paid items were also not on the table, at least not for free. However, I do feel that if traveling spirits continue the way that they are, those who bought the passes should be able to obtain ultimate rewards for their respective seasons because instead of having multiple exclusive items, they now have nothing you couldn’t obtain for free other than a pendant (assuming ultimate rewards are not planned to come back).

How do you feel about this feature as someone who has participated in all of the seasons?
I feel that it is necessary for newer players to be able to obtain at least some items from past seasons. I know that I would feel demoralized if I started this game only to have missed years of content with no way of getting them, though there are plenty of games that do not offer ways to get old items. Maybe it’s just that this game is young and players crave the variety that seasonal items give and with time and many more items added, it will be less of an issue? In any case, I do feel betrayed having bought a pass with the knowledge that the items would never return only to have them return and being offered for free, especially as someone who is chaste about spending money on apps but decided to throw an exception for this beautiful game.

I’d say I’m generally satisfied. I do not take issue with candle costs being high, especially since the spirits will return and this game isn’t meant to be played fast.

I think the Ultimate Gifts shouldn’t be available from the traveling spirits. That said, I do think that similar items to extremely unique Ultimate Gifts should return in future seasons. For example, the Ultimate umbrella already has a cheaper umbrella item that should return, so I think the campfire which is also very unique should have a similar but smaller item in a future season.

I’m glad that new players will have an opportunity to get items they missed! Plus, I think the item prices are fair - it’s definitely very difficult to get the items still, which prevents me from feeling like I wasted money previously.

I’m fine with this as well. I feel like upwards of 100+ candles total is justified and it gives me a feeling of satisfaction of being able to work hard for what I want although it does tend to feel grind-y at times.

On the other hand, I’m in support of giving the community a clue of how much the traveling spirits will cost as sometimes I don’t necessarily have time nor want to do candle runs (which is tedious and can take up half an hour or so of my time) so I’d rather just gather what I need to. It doesn’t have to be an exact number, I think something like categorizing would be fine too (“expensive” being somewhere around 100, “small,” etc.)

• blessing shop - maybe like 10 blessings you could buy at once each being a random selection (incentive once most traveling spirits are completed)

Also, I've read many people saying about unfairness of the availability particular items and them being special, but how about people who started playing late or worse, who isn't even started because of the limited release? it's quite unfair for all of those as well to miss out on those items. Honestly, that's just ego's being sound for me - to have some special items so that others won't have.

I see nothing wrong with all the people having what they want. You say it's unfair to have special items for regular candles but the too have their own price - time. You have to spend lots of time collecting them daily and not everyone have that. Time is the most valuable asset. And I like the ability to spend either of time or money on items which is only fair deal. You buy AP to have ultimate gift, so I say make those gifts available through IAP - this way everyone would have to spend money on them, regardless. And it's even more fair for the AP owners since you got Ultimate gift and all the items, while those who missed out on them will only have Ultimate gift.

Also, I think either way someone would still end up feeling upset so I guess you cannot please everyone anyway.

This would be due to life or other circumstances, and not everyone has the time for this considering candles take time to get.

As someone who has all seasons except Gratitude, i really do like it. I feel the prices are ok, they are quite balanced and fair to the people that played during the season vs those who didn’t. Of course it takes time gathering the resources, as for the time limit it might be a bit too short as not everyone can play and farm the candles each day. Maybe have them for longer but with a bit more in between them as well for example.

I guess, maybe something exclusive to the travelers after a while. It would be interesting to see something that only the travelers will have (and that of course will rotate and return like other seasonal cosmetics).

I bought adventure pass for lightseeker, belonging, and rhythm was my freebie because I had the piano.
For lightseekers, no, but for belonging I did and I plan to do so for Rhythm.
Features like lvl2 relationships if I already unlocked it during its season should not be something “unlockable” on the traveling spirit. It confuses players and wastes time and candles.

+I really enjoy it and my friends and I are already highly anticipating Piggyback lvl2, something I had the opportunity to unlock as a lightseeker moth but I didn’t because I had no understanding of what the sky seasons really meant even though I had a pass.

+The weekends are personally, fine. But considering your upcoming android release, the sky community is about to exponentially expand and I really think you should capitalize on making traveling spirits have longer time windows to accommodate for a larger community.

+The traveling spirits are really expensive. I’d love to see them at a cheaper candle price before I blow like, 80 candles to fully unlock a spirit. This puts the cosmetics at a premium and I think it kind of defeats the hype about returning spirits because people want them back for cosmetics, not necessarily emotes that are more affordable on the tree.

+I would love it if ultimate gifts also returned as a player that didn’t finish all four seasons, even if it was at a premium. Furthermore, for people who fully bought out a spirit before it was a traveling spirit, I would like to see some sort of reward/compensation since we can’t really participate.

No, I have not bought any adventure passes, nor do I plan to in the future. The game is completely free to play, and the passes mainly provide cosmetics or other items I don't feel necessary for myself personally.

I joined in the final hours of Season of Lightseekers, so I completely missed the Season of Belonging and did not really understand how seasons worked. I managed to grab all the Seasonal Spirits, but as I had no seasonal candles nor a decent understanding of the game yet, I missed out on all the cosmetics and don't really remember what they were at all.
I was happy to learn they were all coming back in the form of Traveling Spirits and I think it is a great feature, especially for F2P players like myself.
+How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available?
I think the length is fine. For new players they would most likely be disappointed if they can't gather enough candles, but that isn't my perspective. For me, it's fine. I wouldn't complain about a day or two more, though.
+Currency prices of the items: candles, hearts, etc.
The prices are too expensive. The flute especially, but as I love collecting every instrument that I can, I did buy it. The price would have disappointed me even more if it was more than I could afford, as then it would have been as if the spirit did not come back at all.
I suppose that's fair, so that those who bought IAP do not feel cheated, so it is mostly fine. But if future Spirits become more expensive than the one with the flute, I think it would be too expensive in candles. The heart and ascended candle costs are perfectly reasonable so far.

Either way, I understand this game is a business and players like myself who never pay do not contribute to funding it, so not including everything and making things a bit pricey makes sense. I don't like it, but I understand it and I'm not complaining for a change.

It would be nice if Ultimate reward items earned for collecting everything in the season were still unique. Perhaps if instead you offered similar items but a different colour? Then those who already have them could get another look if they want while still having the original. Such as Deer Mask or Large Umbrella.

I think it's fine, except for how you have to spend money on a pass to get all of the items so it would be a bit frustrating if people can only get them with candles. It makes it seem like you shouldn't be bothering to pay for the seasons.

I haven't missed a season but I joined late on the first season and had to spend extra money to get the deer mask before it was gone. It was stressful because I didn't understand the time limit when I first got the pass and was frustrated that passes were being sold when it was impossible to get all the items available with the time left. Now that items are being offered via a traveler it seems like I stressed over this and rushed and spent extra money for nothing.

Unique little accessory items to wear (such as over the ears, gloves, hats) and spells. I find I don't get some of the spells I used to get early on in the game, like glow or reduced gravity so being able to buy extra spells while they are there would be nice. Seasonal office items that were missed such as bat cape, pumpkin head and so on would be great as they were hard to afford and not everyone had access.

You can check the price for your region on the IAP store in-game. The pass gives you access to those exclusive items, but you still need to spend seasonal candles to get there (which you can get through daily quests just playing the game or buy those candles on the store)

Yes. I joined August 20th, 2019 and had just missed the Season of Gratitude, but learned the ways of the game before Lightseekers was released, which I did buy an Adventure Pass for. (Also every other Season after.)

Yes! Though it was tempting to buy Seasonal Candle packs, with a bit of patience I was able to complete it.

Not allowing all Spirits to be accessible. Some just need to accept the fact that not everything can be obtained in a game, and that is completely okay. There is just more worth when players can have items that they worked hard/spent real money to get and not be easily be purchased by new players in the future from these Traveling Spirits.
-How do you feel about this feature as someone who has participated in all of the seasons?
I understand that it gives the players who were not able to obtain certain emotes/cosmetics from previous seasons a chance, but per my previous answer, I feel that the Traveling Spirits should only reward partially. I also understand it's TGC's way of making money with promoting these microtransactions, but it makes the game a bit too easy especially if new players can just buy their items from a TS in a weekend; whereas most others and long time players spent weeks and time to get.

I missed Season of Gratitude by a hair, but during that time I had known Sky was still on the rise. During the time that I've played, I didn't see many people sporting Gratitude gear - so my assumption was that during that time of Gratitude, the population on Sky was still quite small before Lightseekers brought in a massive influx of new players. I am glad they brought back a popular Gratitude spirit for the first TS, and that allowed a good portion of recent Sky players to obtain. Lightseeker TS seem too recent, and initially I only thought that TGC was going to release only a small handful of Gratitude to obtain.
-How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available?
It reflects the pricing of the items, since they are no longer Seasonal - and instead use real candles - it encourages players to be online more often to take advantage of saving up regular candles to be able to get the rewards at the end of the week (without spending).
-Currency prices of the items: candles, hearts, etc.
It reflects the time period availability. It makes sense they aren't readily cheap. Gives people a bit of a challenge if they don't have anything saved up. (Or just end up spending due to desperation.) It reflects the obtainability of regular candles as well, which is much easier than Seasonal.
-Is there anything you would like to see offered by the Traveling Spirits that currently isn’t?
I just think there should be a decided handful that will be released, but not all. It gives new players who missed it a chance to get some items, making their time worthwhile; and veteran players who already have completed it during the season a new sense of appreciation that not everything in the game can be easily obtained.

Hearts: Depends on the item i guess. For instance, the latest traveling spirit, i personally feel that 6 hearts is a little too costly for an expression upgrade....that can only be used on a friend. Might be cute for awhile, but that's pretty much it. Not to mention, it still needs to be unlocked with candles after that. If that's the case, 3 hearts is just right in my opinion.
Candles : The prices on the fox mask were just right. The flute was somewhat costly. Granted, its a functional item. But still, it's pricey. Preferably kept under 40.

Since I missed the season of Gratitude, I enjoy the concept! To put in my own, disorganized, two cents on traveling spirits, one of the hardest parts is the prices. I don't have them to do full candles runs every day, and because of that I never get to finish the traveling spirits. It's really disheartening because I love some of the cosmetics from past seasons, but I just don't have time (or extra money) to get candles otherwise.

I joined during Belonging SeasonBelonging , bought the pass, and got the Ultimate Gift. I loved working for it, and even with traveling spirits I'm trying to convince my mother to let me buy the Rhythm pass. Basically I'm paying money to get it sooner.

Honestly, I'm not mad that players who couldn't buy the pass at the time either because a) they didn't join at that time or b) they don't have money/aren't allowed to buy stuff, can get them. I just think it should be a steeper price (like maybe ascended candles) than just a bunch of candles for Ultimate Gifts. Make 'em work for it. (I also really want some of the Ultimate gifts from past seasons so please don't let me down).

It's also easier to buy the pass than to try and grind for a week or two when I'm not always able to. Less stressful and I still get to enjoy the game and the cosmetics.

While I do have a small sense of entitlement for owning such items, I believe everyone deserves to have a shot at collecting cosmetics from past seasons, especially those who joined late and Android players, the majority of which haven’t even had the chance to experience seasons.

Although I hope for ultimate gifts to return as paid packs, I think the other travelling spirits are a relatively innovative concept that are well thought out. I had a few doubts when the first one came out, but I realised that they’re just there to give a chance to those who missed out.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of traveling spirits. I love being a completionist so knowing I was late to the start of the game makes me happy that I can obtain past items. It's a big turn off to me when I start a mobile game late and can't get the stuff that was available from the start. So thank you for bringing them back!

How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available?
I think its good however I wish they came at reset instead of waiting until 3pm EST (noon PST). I also wish they came more frequently, like every week instead of every other. I know they will come ever week inbetween seasons but it's nice to have something to look forward to every week!

I think the price is very fair considering they were exclusive! Plus if I don't have enough candles, I can always buy more in the store.

How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available? — they should be available for more, or offer just one/two prizes (not the whole tree) so they can come back later with other stuff. I also like the idea of a “generic” spirit not linked to past seasons, who comes and offers prizes each week. New simple masks (recolors of previous ones), spells, hearts, some features that can be unlock just during the visiting time...

Currency prices of the items: candles, hearts, etc. —Fine, considering the rarity. Maybe we could pay for the same item with different currencies (eg. 36 candles = 12 hearts = 8 ascended candles) so one can put everything to use and avoid missing out on an item.

Is there anything you would like to see offered by the Traveling Spirits that currently isn’t? — capes! Emotes/stances, spells (but useful ones, some of the ones already available are neither useful nor funny to use, and the novelty effect expires pretty quickly) or something unique to the spirit.

-I didn’t buy a pass myself as I was gifted one, however. I definitely would not like to see ultimate rewards being offered for newer players. If they are being considered to come back, I feel that only the people who had the pass for each season. Should have the availability be made for them to buy the ultimate rewards If they haven’t obtained them. After all they worked hard during the season, and life may just have prevented them from completing the season. I would also feel at ease if the items that were behind the season pass wall weren’t available for free. I think it’s only fair since that’s how it’s been each season, that certain items were only obtainable if you had the pass. Since people were encouraged to spend money on a pass so they could obtain those items.

-I’m not fully onboard with the idea of this feature. While It helps me obtain the items I elected not to get in the season of gratitude, for which I am grateful. Items in which as a player in a new game were hard to obtain due to the currency that was chosen. It feels more like it was a move made to please newer players and not at all considerate of veterans/pass holders.

-I do feel betrayed having participated in each season with the knowledge that the items would never return. And with that knowledge in mind worked hard to obtain items I thought were never ever coming back. Only to have them return months later and being offered basically for free. With that in mind, I do however think it’s a nice feature for newer players.

-I disagree with the length of the spirits being available. A weekend is such a short time for people to farm candles to buy the items they desire. It feels like the time was chosen to put pressure on IAP of candles. If the prices of each items was announced a week in advance, then I might feel differently. As I feel that a week would be sufficient enough of a warning for new players to save up.

-I am in agreement with the prices of the items. I feel they should be high and not easily obtained, as they weren’t easy to obtain during the seasons. Unless you bought candles then it was easier. I however feel that if the items that were behind the season pass, are to still be offered. That their currency be changed to hearts, I do not feel they should be a ridiculous price like 50 hearts. It should still be a price within new players grasps, but not so easy that no work has to be put in.

ugggggh yes and no: Belonging was my first season and I messed it up ROYALLY. I worked very hard to accomplish the tasks, but failed to understand the hearts: I thought I had to get all candles and then the hearts would magically appear. On the last hour, I realized I would never get all the candles to receve the hearts and purchased some cosmetics/emotes. Then I saw the hearts in the trees, and time had run out. So I failed to get the campfire, which was the only thing I -really- wanted. I cried. ugggggggghhhhh :/

I’m split on this: with my UX above, I would like to see everything return for a fair chance to obtain it. But I also respect how special some things are, particularly the ultimate umbrella! Otherwise it would be so weird and even disappointing when you see a travel spirit that you have just finished like a short while ago,for example,the spirits of belonging.

I’m conflicted on this. I feel I don’t want the Ultimate Gifts to be available, but then I shoot myself in the foot bc I really want the deer mask from Gratitude. Maybe allow only those that have purchased the previous season passes the ability to get the UG- that way it still retains its exclusive pass value.

I’m somewhat conflicted. I feel that new players should have a chance to get some of the previous season items, but I also somewhat feel like the pass has been devalued. It’s not exclusive content anymore as advertised. Maybe if the traveling spirit items had subtle variations in color or something then I wouldn’t feel like what I used my real money for has lost value.

I would want to purchase specific spells from the traveling spirits. I love that they offer wing buffs and hearts.

prairie spirit is in bird nest (right of when you first enter after the social area and the floating islands) underneath the platform thingy you land on

I am very conflicted on this.
For Gratitude/Lightseekers/Belonging the information was given that the Seasons/Travelers would not return and most of the cosmetics were pass-exclusive. These were also the main reasons why I bought the passes (for me and friends), besides wanting to support the devs.
I feel like bringing Travelers back and making pass-exclusive items not only available again but available for free devalues the season pass. A lot.
If it is only the Ultimate Gift that is kept pass-exclusive I don‘t know if I will purchase a pass again, because 20€ for a Mask/Hairstyle/Umbrella/Campfire isn‘t really worth it to me. I could just collect all the seasonal candles, let them convert into regular candles and wait for the Traveling spirits so I don‘t have to spend cash. I have been playing every day and completed all the constellations already, so there is nothing else to spend my candles/hearts on anymore.

Of course I understand that newer players want to be able to obtain items from past seasons. I feel like making some of them available in the shop like the Winter-Musician Pack or now the Gratitude-Wasteland Spirit could be a solution, although the price seems a bit high. The packs are way more expensive than the season pass was and only cover cosmetics from one Spirit. I think around 5€ would be fair.
In my opinion, the Ultimate Gifts should only be obtainable during the season and not return, also not for cash. It‘s a way for veteran players to show their long-lasting love and support for the game.

Not really. The way I see it whenever I buy an AP, I'm buying the cosmetics I want early. It could be months before the spirit returns to Sky with a few of it's cosmetics (not all of them) and it may not even be the ones I wanted. So while I'm fine with everything coming back, a lot of other players think it's unfair. So maybe have retextured versions of them with color alterations? Then if you see someone with the original colors you know they're a veteran and have been supporting Sky. If Ultimate Gifts come back (which I really hope some do) they should definitely be retextured, maybe with diluted colors instead of the vibrant version of the originals?

How do you feel about this feature as someone who started late and missed one or more seasons?

I joined during Belonging. I missed all the other seasons. I was really upset, because I always see amazing cosmetics and emotes, but had no way of getting them- just because I found out about the game too late. I'm really happy that I now how a chance to get them. But a lot of people are saying Ultimate Gifts shouldn't be available, which is one of the things I really want.

I think the current prices are a little too expensive right now. I'm really busy with school and theatre (and my mom doesn't want me glued to my devices all day), so I don't always have a few hours every day to do a candle run. I never have enough candles for the Traveling Spirits. But I guess it should be expensive so veterans don't feel like they wasted money.

Is there anything you would like to see offered by the Traveling Spirits that currently isn’t?

I really want to be able to buy specific spells instead of getting something random and hoping it's good SkyLOL

I’m conflicted because I like having cosmetics that newer players cannot get and are therefore more “rare” and unique. However, the cosmetics from Gratitude are some of my favourites of all time and I know I would do anything to get them so I understand why newer players may really really appreciate the Travelling Spirit feature. For this reason I think that the Travelling Spirit feature should be all inclusive even to the Ultimate gift. When it comes down to it, it doesn’t actually matter that much if older players feel “unique”, it is nicer for newer players to feel included and feel as if they can work towards a complete collection.

Putting aside Gratitude, I have completed every other season. I think that I worked hard to log on every day and complete my quests. I also completed the first Travelling Spirit and I realize that may be even more difficult than completing Spirit Tree in the original season. For this reason I don’t have a problem with it, even if players are buying candles to complete a Travelling Spirit.

I love this! I just wish there was a way to get the Ultimate Gift as well, maybe if one stuck around long enough to complete every TS from a season or adding a hefty price to it? I think it’s a good idea and I’m very grateful that we’re being given an opportunity to come back to the season I missed most of. I know I personally felt awful about missing Gratitude and I felt as if my collection will never be complete because of it. This game is built around collecting cosmetics. I just think it’s more important for players to feel included and like they can have a full collection or obtain their favourites. That’s more important than older players having cosmetics others can’t get or feeling like they wasted money. I know I would gladly pay money for my missing items but there’s nothing I can currently do.

I think it’s good, honestly those who are very concerned with getting all the available cosmetics can just prepare beforehand and save candles.

Hmm, I think using high prices is a good idea or even Seasonal Candles from the current season (assuming there’s a season at the time of the TS arrival), I just wouldn’t add hearts into the pricing because those are hard to get on short notice.

Ultimate Gifts!! Make them available for those who wait long enough to complete a season via Travelling Spirit! They can be available for hearts or like 100 candles if you would like to be exclusive.

I don’t really have an opinion one way or another, mostly because I think there are other factors that play in to what people are willing to do to get cosmetics that no one seems to be talking about. For example… what percentage of players will still be playing the game a year from now? Does this change if the only additions to the game are Android accessibility and cosmetics (vs. new areas or story content). People are all up in arms about the possibility of items they paid for with a $10 AP being “free” for candles and hearts... but if you do the math, you realize that people need to farm all the available wax every day without fail and have a ton of friends giving hearts in order to buy out all traveling spirits, which seems unlikely… or at least,people like that are contributing to the game socially even if not monetarily and you can hardly call them freeloaders.

I’d love the opportunity to get old cosmetics and emotes, but it doesn’t matter as much if there’s not new content in the form of new areas and story to keep me coming back to the game. Without new content like that, I predict I’ll burn out within 6 months of doing the daily wax grind. It’s already really repetitive.

I understand why it’s structured this way. With their short appearance time, many people will need to buy candle packs to get the items they really want. If you lengthen the appearance time, people are less likely to need to buy candles. I’d like to spend less money, so of course longer appearance times would be better for me.

Of course I’d love to spend less real cash, so lowering those prices would be better. That’s probably not great for the purpose of keeping the lights on at TGC, though.

YES. Narrative content. It would be great if there was actual meaning behind the appearance of these traveling spirits. So many other aspects of the game are thoughtful. If this were better integrated story-wise, I think all of these questions you are asking would become secondary. Just sayin’.

Players who didnt go through the season can basically get the items for free if they save enough candles, and since candles are free to get daily, it makes sense.

tbh as someone who is a newer player, the ultimate gifts of the past look neat but, I also have faith in TGC will eventually introduce amazing new ultimate gifts in the future SkyTada maybe with some functions that mimic the ones in the past. This season we had two, maybe next season we’ll have two again pAww

[incoming rant(?)] Just regarding some of the feedback on traveling spirits

#

I wanted to say something that I think could be considered, since I noted some disagreement regarding traveling spirit content being earnable with normal currency.

Now, I'm fairly new, so I've only done Lightbringers, Belonging, and Rhythm. I bought passes for each. With said passes, I was able to get 6 candles a day per season in around 10 minutes per day. I'm not certain how many candles finishing off each took, but I always easily had a surplus at the end. For what would roughly amount to 10 hours of gameplay, if the season is two months long, you could earn 360 candles, for example. You'll have way more than needed, in the end, too, so you don't even need to play that much - you can take a much more leisurely pace, skip days, only do one or two quests on some, etc. It's 330 this season, for example, so you can skip 5 days, cut off around toward an hour we'll say. 9 hours across two months+ for 330 candles gets you everything from the season.

Now, let's consider traveling spirits. Those spirits are here for around 3 days - players have up to around 2 weeks to amass candles for them. If it takes a minimum of 1 hour to get the 15 candles a day, that is 14 hours for 210 candles. I believe that the first traveler was somewhere around 70 candles? If we divide the total effort by 3, that means a player would at the very least have to play closer to around 5 hours over the two weeks, or roughly 20 minutes a day for 70 candles, or 5 candles a day. You will also need to add Eden for the ascension points, so lets add 15 minutes per week, if the whole experience is 30 minutes. We can then factor in getting all the winged light back, which takes up toward 2 hours. But we'll set that aside and just call it 5 hours over two weeks for the 70.

This is at a minimum for the more skilled speed runners. If you're like me, however, it takes longer. It takes me around 30 minutes to get 4 candles - that's doing the 8 man puzzle, getting the 2 from valley race and shrine, and then the 1+-ish for the big candle bunches. Beyond this adds more time for melting plants and burning little candle sets.

Season passers earn, roughly, 36 seasonal candles an hour. Non-passers earn essentially 14 an hour, if that. Season passers have 2 months+ to earn this; non-passers have 2 weeks. Non-passers have 1/4th of the time earning normal candles at roughly 1/2 the rate of season passers earning seasonal candles.

With this I want to say that I consider the season passers the lucky ones, really, for having been able to participate in the past seasons. I was able to take my time, do things at my leisure, just straight up not play for like a week if I wanted. Non-passers don't have that sort of leisure - they have a really short amount of time to get everything, and have to play every day to get everything, even if it's less per day. They also have to run Eden - pass holders didn't. Beyond this, they have to run Eden more often if they are have less stars or are newer - that's also completely removing them wanting to use ascended candles on anything else.

What I mean to say is some people find it unfair that non-passers are getting it "easy" by getting to get all this stuff for free, and I get that, but the truth is they have to work a lot harder than pass holders did. Beyond that, not every non-passer (or season passer) has a ton of time. Many players might want everything from the traveling spirit but might not know how to grind candles that quickly or might not be able to make enough in time. If it's $3 for 5 normal candles, as well, and someone makes say only 55 candles in that time and needs to buy more, for example, they'd pay toward $10 to get those extra 15 candles - meanwhile, that same $10 got pass holders 60+ and would finish off some of the seasonal spirits with that alone, if we're only counting the single daily gift candle. And that's just for ONE spirit, while the pass helped us get all 6. Plus, we had two months+ to get everything - a non-pass holder only has a few days to interact with the spirit, and if they don't get everything in that time, depending on how the traveling spirits cycle, they might not get another chance for a whole year. They might have tried to earn candles for it and then ended up unable to get everything, and then all that time will be gone in a way. I think we could consider this in thinking about how fair or unfair it is - really, non-passers are the ones at a disadvantage, and I think that TGC has added an awesome initiative, giving newer players the ability to partake in older stuff. I know, when Rhythm is over, almost every new player will want something from it, and I think the game is better for their chance to partake in the fun too. I had to pay the $10, sure, but I won't have to work anywhere near as hard, so I'll hugely respect people who've put all that effort forth too.

Not entirely sure what this is asking, so I’m going to answer two ways. If it’s asking about what I would like to see removed from the spirits, nothing (apart from maybe lowering the prices a bit). If it’s asking about what I’d like to see added to the spirits, I mentioned it earlier so I’ll briefly mention it again: traveling spirits that aren’t seasonal that offer other cosmetics :D

As someone who missed Gratitude and have gotten the rest, I love it! I agree with Kisoep above, as non-passers have to work really hard to get everything and passers have a major advantage. Non-passers definitely don’t have it easy.

I’ve been around for a while. Came in towards the end of Gratitude. I have a few items from that Season, did not have the AP and in hindsight, didn’t have much of a clue what I was doing. I don’t feel cheated in any way that I missed out based on the time I joined. Others may feel differently. I do want to say that I think some consideration does need to be given to those that started before us. When I meet another Player and during reveal they are utilizing cosmetics that I know are pre my game time, it generates from me respect for their experience and knowledge. SkyRespect SkyDeepBow

Even if a lot of people playing this game are children who have tons of free time, not a lot of children will want to dedicate nearly their whole day trying to candle run

I can serve as an example, and although I wont say my age, sky already has taken up a majority of my time making it nearly impossible for me to keep up with it and the only other game I play unless I stay up all night playing AND being lucky with no homework
