I like this website https://sky-children-of-the-light.fandom.com/wiki/Children_of_Light_(Stars) by looking them up and even watching YouTube videos of past season events can help you find them.

seasonal candles: 1st bunch is on the right on the stairs just as you enter, 2nd is to the left near the 4 player door, 3rd is near the entrance after you open the 4 player door and the 4th is further inside if i remember correctly at the seasonal spirit cave entrance
I'm basing this off my memory having went through it awhile ago but hopefully that's about correct - (for those who can't quite figure out the areas from the pictures)!

that doesn’t apply to all geese btw! they’re called knobs, the things on their beaks. the goose in picture up above is a chinese goose if i’m not wrong, they have very impressive knobs.

i think geese and ducks are very similar except in their behaviours of course, so appearance-wise the mask can definitely apply to both. though the goose is typically taller and larger than ducks, there are some small geese and big ducks as well. (the pekin duck for example looks very similar to a goose.)

but of course we can just generally agree that the mask is a duck mask thanks for coming to my TED talk!

in the final area of forest, the one right before the temple, there are two manta that are stuck in darkness. in the area with the broken bridges, fly to the far right where the cry spirit’s cave is (another quest i think!) and there’s a plant that has a manta stuck on it

theres also another one under this bridge, the one that triggers a cutscene showing the temple

No there’s a little cave before that. It has a big darkness plant on top of it, and some darkness plants covering the entrances

@trim kraken the manta is outside the cave. There is one to the side of the relive spirit cave (picture above— its where the wax is. It’s a big plant with a manta when noone has burnt it yet), and one underneath the bridge part when you enter from the treehouse section

The quest can bug out sometimes, bit you should get it after 1-2 tries

I come to the bridge area via the sunny forest, right above one of the mantas. Typically I’m able to free it before the server updates, if anyone’s struggling I suggest giving that a try

Ok so i tried to do the quest and my size is a bit shorter than the normal size

( i didnt use resize potion or chibi mask, i was born that way )

i think you should be able to reach it no matter the size, try flying a little if your character seems too short (:

Try landing on the leaves and burn them down that way, if you are too smol and in the water you won’t be able to burn the leaves you’ll just start swimming instead 😅

You’ll see a manta stuck on a dark plant, if you don’t then go back home and wait a bit so you can get into a server that has one

Going through the sunlight area path of forest makes for a better chance to get to manta before someone frees it, as it is right below the exit.

When I finally found a manta to burn

I did not get the quest completed banner

But when I went to the spirit quest at home I received my candle

So conclusion

Though, I don’t know how it’s managed to stay for this long with all the complaints it’s gotten.
