the season total in the beta was 274 candles

and this season you get 320 candles if you bought the pass

I think if it’s two people leading vs one falling behind the spirit will go with the two people moving and push the person slowing down out of the range. If it were 1 leading one falling behind I did notice then that the spirit stuck with the back person

You only need like two in the circle, just in case one slips or falls or gets knocked by a crab. The rest should hover outside the circle and only jump in if required. Best place to hover would be at the bottom of the exit back into temple. You can potentially be helpful there. Just my thoughts anyway.

I just got the valley spirit and I must say I’m glad it’s over. The light got stuck for a good 5min under a staircase and everything was a mess.

I went with 2 friends, one guided the light (1 person doing it is faster), and we lit up the way with fireworks staff and dealt with the crabs.

I think there are 2 variations of placement of season candles in each area (same with dark plants), so if you can memorize that it's relatively easy to collect all wax. My candle run chore is mostly in autopilot, when going alone.

Just check locations of where they were spotted last and most often than not you’ll find it in that spot or relatively nearby

Since 8 bunches event means every location is activated

Yeah that’s always been the pattern I think. It’s nice, not too much hunting but a bit of variation. (Very helpful in wasteland)

I don’t really know if it’s better to do it now or leave it for later on. My experience was a total mess.
I started the quest and another skykid joined from the beginning. Then 2 others joined when we reached the first big room, then another one started to play songs while a 6th one started to throw fireworks along the way (in fact you don’t really need them bc the light you carry projects already on the floor and walls). Then the light got stuck under the staircase for 5minute straigh. After many tries, we managed to get it out of there and, after many more chaotic scenes, we managed to reach the end. It was some sort of Paprika parade nightmare.
