@minor ore the seasonal hearts are the reward for completing a whole seasonal spirit tree (pass needed). The seasonal quest giver will accept 6seasonal hearts in exchange of a seasonal limited cosmetic.
So you need to complete all seasonal spirit tree to get that limited one

As much as I abhor the idea of limiting the season experience by releasing only 1 spirit a week, it actually is a blessing in a way that I can spend less time in game and focus only on one area each day for the duration of the season. 50 days is way too long to spend 2-3 hours a day in game. So I now look at it as a blessing 🙂

so we got shelters in the danger krill corner at the cost of also getting a ton of crabs (and the majority of them unholdable) that can and will ambush us below shelter

Not sure how I feel about the season pass / weekly spirit thing. Weekly spirit is much better to me, means everything is spread out over the season. BUT the pass giving a bunch of candles means you unlock the first spirit in the first few days. Then you save up for the rest of the week, and the next spirit is probably done even quicker... I'd have liked it spread out more, not 'unlock the whole spirit every monday'.

Still an improvement over last season tho i guess, as I finished that early then had to wait for the end of the season, then however long it was between seasons... Hopefully they can balance it even more next time. While somehow keeping some slack for players who miss days 🙂
