The 36 daily candles that you miss out on is the exact amount of leeway you have as a pass buyer

308 (20 of which are from pass) attainable - 272 required = 36 candles of leeway

Not buying the pass takes away one candle from that 36, and after the 12 day mark (48 - 36 = 12) you wouldn’t be able to get enough candles even with the daily bonus

There’s no finished price chart for the season yet, so I can’t tell you how this season adds up in that regard

Yeah the "open a 2 player door" quest only exists in valley because the gratitude spirit decided to rent that place out and tgc isn't wanting to remove both the door and the daily quest
